Most of the madness afflicting the world seems to originate in America, mostly California and New York. G.K. Chesterton prophesied in the twenties of the last century that it wasn't Moscow people needed to be wary of, but Manhattan (came across that recently, maybe it was here).
Drag queens have Nancy's stamp of approval, they must be proud. Yes, it is very bad in CA and NYC, unfortunately they get all the media attention. Sadly, Americans who are out there trying to hold this country together are not newsworthy. I worry constantly for my son who is in the thick of it in NY.
There are plenty here in Ireland who don't need to be in NY to pick it up. This week, we had a national controversy in which our national tv/radio station, RTE-an extremely 'woke' institution-had an unusually relatively balanced talk-in radio discussion about the LGBTetc movement, but balance wasn't attractive to the perverts, who whinged and complained and RTE got hauled before a government committee for their crimes! But hear this...the trans people are claiming that, because we in Ireland voted in same-sex 'marriage', this means that the majority of the country support their agenda. While this sounds absurd and audacious, there is method to their madness. If one thinks same-sex 'marriage' through, it means that a man can 'marry' a man, but he can also change his mind (and much else) and marry a woman. Whichever he marries, a man or a woman, the crazy law considers it a 'marriage'. It is not illogical to conclude from this, and I reckon this is what the trans people are at, that a man and a woman are equivalent and thus it's wide open for a man to declare himself a woman. In a local discussion forum, I reminded those liberal types who virtue-signal their tolerant support for homosexual 'marriage', but yet strongly oppose the trans movement, that it was their vote for homosexual 'marriage' that opened the way for this insanity; they didn't like it one bit.

Polls are likely to be set up to direct people to give the answers the pollsters want, but the definition of 'Catholic' is now a very broad one. Anyone who supports abortion-on-demand has self-excommunicated, I would suspect. Argentina is hardly a surprise. If their senior churchman is typical of their clerics, it seems inevitable.
