I feel the Lord is beginning to put His plans into place.

He has been preparing us for these times and we need to be open to his inspirations.

Perhaps someone has already mentioned St. Pope JPII's comments at Fulda in Germany in 1980. If not it's worth considering with other things.

The Holy Father was asked, “What about the Third Secret of Fatima? Should it not have already been published by 1960?”

Pope John Paul II replied: “Given the seriousness of the contents, my predecessors in the Petrine office diplomatically preferred to postpone publication so as not to encourage the world power of Communism to make certain moves.

“On the other hand, it should be sufficient for all Christians to know this: if there is a message in which it is written that the oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish, truly the publication of such a message is no longer something to be so much desired.”

The Pope continued: “Many wish to know simply from curiosity and a taste for the sensational, but they forget that knowledge also implies responsibility. They only seek the satisfaction of their curiosity, and that is dangerous if at the same time they are not disposed to do something, and if they are convinced that it is impossible to do anything against evil.”

At this point the Pope grasped a Rosary and said: “Here is the remedy against this evil. Pray, pray, and ask for nothing more. Leave everything else to the Mother of God.”

The Holy Father was then asked: “What is going to happen to the Church?”

He answered: “We must prepare ourselves to suffer great trials before long, such as will demand of us a disposition to give up even life, and a total dedication to Christ and for Christ… With your and my prayer it is possible to mitigate this tribulation, but it is no longer possible to avert it, because only thus can the Church be effectively renewed. How many times has the renewal of the Church sprung from blood! This time, too, it will not be otherwise. We must be strong and prepared, and trust in Christ and His Mother, and be very, very assiduous in praying the Rosary.”

I’m very happy to see this today….I’ve followed Fr,Gruner and sometimes Fr, Kramer( not much) and most of the experts ar the Fatima Center for years. My heart broke when good and faithful Fr. Gruner passed away. No one did more to promote Fatima and work towards the consecration of Russia than he did. He had a heart attack and passed away just before their 2015 Fatima Center yearly conference. He killed himself working .

A Russian government representative asked for Fr. Gruner to meet with him after father had been to Italy on a campaign to beg the pope to consecrate Russia. Fr. Gruner had thousands of leaflets distributed throughout Italy and billboards asking the pope to consecrate Russia. Because of that campaign, Russia wanted to meet with him, but the pope did not. If I can find that video, I’ll post it. It was very telling.

Fr. Kramer confirmed to me that I might have had something to do with that. See this post:

I know this effort generated at least dozens if not hundreds of messages to Putin’s office at the time, and may have precipitated Russia’s contact with Fr. Gruner that fall.

Russia ASKING the Pope for consecration in 2013, and it finally being done in 2022–“It will be done late,” said Our Lady of Fatima.

I am not understanding why you would want to move to Italy? What prompted that? Ireland has lots of mountains if you want to escape to a mountain . . .there is always Croagh Patrick. That's pretty high. Or do you think Ireland is going to sink into the sea? just wondering.

A big adventure, Padraig, but you have the courage to make a go of it. Italy is the nicest country I have visited. It has everything, although the last time I visited Rome I thought that it had disimproved in the ten or so years since my previous visit. I was awestruck by the magnificence of Rome the first time I visited during the papacy of Paul V1. They had all the trappings but even then to a young woman from Ireland, herself not particularly pious, the Romans were shockingly irreverent. The saying "All fur coat and no knickers" springs to mind when I think back. That said, there's something very likeable about the Italians, the weather in Italy is better and the scenery is stunning.

I envy you and will pray that the Lord removes any and all obstacles you meet as you start a new chapter in your life.
