    Is anyone beginning to think about March 18th again and think that this may the year we find out its significance?

    I don't know if these are significant but here are a few facts about March 18th.
    Please share if you have more (significant events that happened on that date, etc.)

    This year March 18th is on a Friday and exactly 4 weeks before Good Friday on April 15th.

    It is followed every year by St Joseph day on the 19th, and the Annunciation 1 week later on the 25th.

    Some notable Saints whose feast is on March 18th:

    -St Eucarpius of Nicomedia: Just like St Paul, he used to play a role in the persecution of Christians before he converted and later got martyred.

    -St Cyril of Jerusalem: He was zealous to teach the True Faith of the Church, especially about the bread and wine truly becoming the Body and Blood of Christ.

    I chose to mention these two because of the times we are living in.

    Hi Joanne- I was also thinking the same as you and posted this in the Russia and Ukraine thread. As I said , I dint know timing. And Patrick posted questions on tie into Garabandal.

    With this all said, I warn that too much energy /focus on these events probably is not as helpful as actually working on being prepared spiritually. Time to get on knees…convert, confession, Eucharist, and lots of prayers, especially The Rosary.

    AS I mentioned before of the connection between the knights templar and the 13th Oct , also to note the last grand master of the knights templar
    Jacques de Molay was executed on the 18th March....

    I would hope that this March 18 would be significant! What stands out to me is that we all feel how desperate the situation has gotten. Without a doubt, we are in the times that have been spoken of in so many Marian apparitions. It would be nice to be able to say the tide will turn by the Hand of God soon. You could tell me that everything would start to come to pass tomorrow, and I would say - that is perfect timing - we cannot stand much more of this.

    The rosary, confession, the Mass - those are the lifeline for me. Fasting is difficult for me, but I am giving that a go again as well. I desperately need these graces in my life.

    I know that I cannot rationally determine when God will move, but I hope that it is soon and that I keep my relationship with Him strong enough that I will recognize that time when it has come. I am not sure if others feel this way, but I am sure of the difficulties coming to all of humanity. I accept it as fact. We have strayed too far. For my part, my prayer has become that I want to go to Heaven and to sacrifice as best I can as an offering for my and others' conversion.

    I feel so utterly unprepared for all of this, and I look around and there are so few people talking about world events in relation to faith and God. I am scared for humanity. We are not ready. Maybe that is why I am interested in the dates. I want to know when things will come so that I am prepared and can explain to others as well. We need to wake out of our slumber. A mystical alarm clock set for March 18 would actually be kind of nice right now.

    Fasting is a practice that I’ve adopted the last few years. It was not easy at first but now not too hard. Which is why this Lent, I’m going to try a “fast” from my quick temper and bad language. Tbh , it’s going to be difficult. Will do my best, and like you, I’m praying the Lord provide me with graces needed. Or perhaps a muzzle for my mouth :ROFLMAO:

    Happy Lent!

    Amen to that! I wouldn't know where to start with what I should work on this lent. I am fortunate to be at the point of just giving up some food. Happy lent to you as well. :)

    Yes. The teenage males in Masonic families can join DeMolay. It’s an umbrella group for male youth, like Job’s Daughters is for girls.

    I try not to concentrate on dates at all. No use. God's ways are not our ways. I also feel unprepared if things were to keep happening so quickly but hope and pray that I will be exactly as prepared as God needs me to be.. somehow..:unsure:

    Very well said!! While I suspect I am prepared, I don't think any of can be prepared enough!

    I agree more, so few talk about world events in relation to God.

    The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia had a secret underground bunker for the leaders of the US in case of war. It is no longer going to be used. I’m not sure where the current bunker is located. I guess no one is supposed to know.
    But, the bunker is still there at the Greenbrier.

    Yes, there is a video out there that gives you a tour of it. It was very interesting. The new location must be near the capital I assume.

    Patrick, I share your sentiments. I’m moving along in life to get along, but I eagerly await heaven if God allows me the privilege of attaining it. The world has become very hard for a Christian/ Catholic to live in and feel happiness. We are increasingly coming under attack. Our own church is part of this problem, so yes, many of us are looking forward to a spiritual shake up. Without it, I only seeing things getting worse. Trusting in Gods timing and clinging to the cross God has given me.

    Possibly in the mountains near Frederick, MD. Near Camp David
    I think it’s within helicopter range.
    But, Jo, like you I wonder who might make use of Greenbrier and facilities.

    Greenbriar, et. al. were part of what's known as "COG" planning, or "Continuity of Government Planning". I read a very interesting book a couple of years back on the history of these projects. For example, in WW2, originals of America's foundational documents were taken at night in an armoured train to Vanderbilt University for safekeeping.

    About every other decade, someone tries to come up with some over-all plan to ensure the US government continues to function as seamlessly as possible. They all fail, usually for cultural reasons. For example, original plans invoved driving officials to sites in Virginia and Maryland, both of which were segregated states. This meant that these officials could be driven to their locations, but their colored drivers couldn't stay there and there were problems finding housing for them. Another problem is that they'd plan for getting the buerocrats out of Washington, but the people wouldn't leave because they couldn't take their families.

    I just typed it in. It's called Yhe Greenbrier. The bunker is on the map as though a historic ruin. The resort gives tours!

    Every year Christmas and Lent Holy Week creep round I feel unprepared, as though it has crept on me and taken me by surprise. Even with the Mass, the Eucharist and Confession I feel like I have had a sneak attack.:)

    In the light of all that's coming down the line how could any one of us talk of being prepared? Even very Holy , learned in Prophecy Catholics can't really swallow it all. I suspect in some part of ourselves it is something we think we are going to watch on TV, the Media or the Internet as kind of guess viewers rather than something that is going to radically alter our won personal pattern of life. To change us forever. To force us to go back to very much simpler more basic forms of life and living. Not simply as our great grad parents lived but something supernaturally transformed and renewed.

    What makes things more disconcerting and confusing is that many of our own Spiritual leaders are betraying us and abandoning us. Even actively attacking their own flock. I watched an interview with Joe Biden with Ashes on his forehead boasting about how Cardinal Gregory of Washington at Ash Wednesday Mass, he the greatest pro abort politician in human history.

    March the 18th could totally be it. Who knows? I feel certainly unprepared. But who is? Perhaps the ones who are most unprepared are the ones who have no idea at all that the Earth is shifting beneath their feet.

    I have noticed that a lot of of Catholic Prophecy focuses on a Global Earthquake, with Darkness. Amazing. I think this is mentioned in the Apocalypse. Though that is maybe a little bit further along.

    That paragraph has struck me deeply brother, for I have been pondering that scenario for quite some time, sure its easy to be prepared just make the shopping list etc etc, then the panic of forgetting something ? I've resided myself to accept not in a lazy way but in a contented way , How could I possibly even fathom what my good lord has planned for me, I decided to wait and listen for his call when he calls I will stand ready with the shirt on my back and do as he tells me .

    God grant me the serenity
    to accept the things I cannot change;
    courage to change the things I can;
    and wisdom to know the difference.

    Living one day at a time;
    enjoying one moment at a time;
    accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
    taking, as He did, this sinful world
    as it is, not as I would have it;
    trusting that He will make all things right
    if I surrender to His Will;
    that I may be reasonably happy in this life
    and supremely happy with Him
    forever in the next.
    Amen.
