This type of pedagogical approach is very typical of what is to be found in LTTW, as anyone will discover if they read the first 'public phase' of the messages, which is important in terms of their contextualization. As I've said before, the jury is still out on LTTW, and caution must be exercised. When read in their entirety, however, there seems to be good reason for suspecting that they could be more than simple speculations on world events coming from someone who is well-intentioned but has confused private meditation (in which there can still be truth, of course) with heavenly locution. That was the Church's verdict - fairly mild and not simply condemnatory - on John Leary, but my sense is that we may be dealing with a different category here.

What makes me pause is the way in which LTTW offers, in simple language and avoiding convoluted arguments, ways forward in resolving problems which have stumped many a systematic theologian over the century. The message above concerning the Twin Towers is a very good example of this: what so many people fail to understand is how terrorists can simultaneously be 'messengers of retribution' and 'agents of my enemy', because they have simplistic views of the nature of causation and questions of Divine Will. Anyone who has read some of the endless theological discussions of the nature of the Evil will know that theologians frequently look at this in 'either-or' rather than 'both-and' terms, because for human logic it looks contradictory to say that God could permit evil acts without Himself becoming responsible for evil. So they often fall into the trap either of saying that God actively wills disaster (which has grave consequences for the character of God - this was one place where Calvin took a spectacular wrong turn) or go to the opposite extreme and rule out the idea of Divine involvement with human affairs altogether, which leads to jettisoning God's sovereignty and to de facto deism which cannot be squared with the Biblical witness. The atypical interpretive solution offered by LTTW, that of God's withdrawing the 'hand of protection' is both logically 'elegant' and backed up by a solid Scriptural precedent - the fall of Israel leading to the Babylonian exile.

Here it's interesting to note that there is an uncanny convergence between this analysis of God's dealings with America and some non-Catholic sources that many commentators (including Michael Brown) are finding compelling, such as Messianic Jew Jonathan Cahn's remarkable concept of the 'harbingers' in relation to Isaiah 9:10 and events since 9/11. Whatever people may think of his theology in other respects, it is difficult not to come away after watching or hearing Cahn's address at this year's inaugural prayer breakfast without feeling indelibly stamped - preaching of historic proportions, right up there with Martin Luther King Jr. And for more than a few listeners, unmistakably prophetic.

Do you think that there are signs f it starting to happen at the moment, Fatima?

  4. Padraig, this is not Mark's writing. Its Locutions.org.

John Leary was an anti-papist and fell into the trap of anti-pope like MDM. He defiantly didn't think Benedict was a good guy. He was right on the money about many, many things though. I'm not sure how he got off track, but here I am talking about getting off track! Just my 2 cents!

Between the storms, the earthquakes, the violence and governmental interference and secrecy and big brother snooping and cover-up, America is REALLY going to get slammed. Never mind the droughts, the flooding and the financial collapse.

In my mind I come back to this, which is just the way I think and I am not meaning to scare anyone...in the U.S. there are lots of places to hide. In Europe there are not many places to hide. God HAS to be with us!

Josef Terelya said that our Lady was creating places to 'hide people from the all -seeing eye of evil'. He said that in the early 90's!!

Well I have to say Marti she is right on the button on this one. :)

I watched the Rabbi's address at the prayer inaugaration for your President and felt like cheering. How wonderful God can still inspire people in this way.

But I wish I had Our Lady's simply courage and simplicity I think there as much chance of Leaders listening to him as my dogs making a moon landing.

But Mary never gives up, she just keeps right in there knocking on the doors of our hearts...and now I see this new Pope is a great fighter too. So they both inspire me as does this Pastor.

    There is always hope.

    Always hope.

    Always hope.

Padraig..by all means. Those people on stage with him, within the last minute of his "heavenly inspired" message, who were shuffling around and leaving in disgust say's much about the mindset of the elite. I see four camps in America right now. The frist is the rich/powerful/greedy, who although they may go through the motions of being "God loving", they are some of the worst abusers of God's truth.... many of these are politicians, lawyers and corporate businessmen and women (estimate 5%). The second is those who are just plain atheist and make no pretense about it....these are those who's lives are about entertainment (where is the next party type people). Many youth and young adults are in the camp (estimates of 25%). The largest group is the apostates (estimate 65%). These are pople of all faiths. They pick and choose which doctrines they want to follow and reject the "hard moral" teachings such as divorce, gay marriage, abortion, contraception, sterilization, adultry, euthanasia, rejecting some or all of the all the 10 comandments (moral relativists). Yet you will see them in Church occasionally, but have no clue about who they are worshiping. The last is the 5% of faithful who take and live out the faith as best possbile with what they have been given. America is nearly dead in the one true faith. with the exception of a few small diocese's and parishes where there is a holy bishop or priest.... the faith is not sound and most will leave what they have when the real crisis comes, becuase what they hold to is not rooted in truth.

Yes I would say its like that in Ireland. Things are particularly bad with the media and the intellectual talking head types. Far worse in the cities than the rural areas.

I would say that the Rabbi was right and if you went back to the periods when the Hebrews apostasised it would match in description of today exactly. But of course as he said the Jews only sacrificed a few of their babies to Mollach we sacrifice millions. Thank God there is no real abortion in Ireland at least not yet.

But since we behave worse than the Jews when they fell, so our punishment will be far, far worse.

To be honest I am astonished the ax hasn't fallen yet.
    God is very merciful.

But there are real saints going about, I see them in Church everyday. Mary will indeed Triumph I am sure...

World apostacy seems to me to be about maxed out. It will be fully manifested in the very near future. I believe Pope Francis will soon make some bold statements or a Papal encyclical on Catholic moral law and refuse Communion to those that do not accept it. This will result in the climax of biblical apostacy within the One True Church. This will bring a whole new level of persecution to the remnant faithful. I believe the age of Divine Mercy is about to end soon as well. Once the Warning and Miracle have taken place, His Mercy is over and his justice will be exacted upon earth and the unrepentant sinfull.
The grace I am looking towards, is having "heaven" speak to our hearts and tell us where we are to go and guide our way. Even though I have made my home and acreage survivable, I am willing to relocate if God manifests to me that I must leave, as the Holy Family did to preserve their lives.

Of all the prophecies, the one given to Ralph Martin still speaks to my heart the loudest:
"Because I love you I want to show you what I am doing in the world today. I want to prepare you for what is to come. Days of darkness are coming on the world, days of tribulation… Buildings that are now standing will not be standing. Supports that are there for my people will not be there. I want you to be prepared, My people, to know only me and to cleave to me and to have me in a way deeper than ever before. I will lead you into the desert…. I will strip you of everything that you are depending on now, so you depend just on me. A time of darkness is coming on the world, but a time of glory is coming for my church, a time of glory is coming for my people. I will pour out on you all the gifts of My Spirit. I will prepare you for spiritual combat; I will prepare you for a time of evangelism that the world has never seen. And when you have nothing but Me, you will have everything: land, fields, homes and brothers and sisters and love and joy and peace more than ever before. Be ready, my people, I want to prepare you…"

  11. I actually was thinking about this last night Fatima. FIRST Pope Francis is going to CLEAN HOUSE. He cannot do it half-way. He already refused to give a raise to those who work at the Vatican...

There is going to be MUCHO gnashing of teeth when he cleans house, because tons of stuff is going to come to the light. IF he goes to FATIMA in May and IF he consecrates RUSSIA---then prepare for huge repercussions.

The adversary DOES NOT WANT THAT AT ALL---so anything he can do to stop it, he will....WORLD FINANCIAL COLLAPSE AND EVERYTHING....

As I understand this the consecration of Russia is going to be valid ONLY if all the bishops will join our Holy Father and if Russia is being named and not "the world"

Fatima (&Potato Sack) thanks for the heads-up , getting me to power-up my pc and watch the video for myself.( Its an unlabelled black box when viewed on my tablet)

    Astonishing.

And i would suggest that those Americans among you should post the video to one of the Future of the America threads in this Forum for those forum members who have avoided this thread having discerned negatively cf LTTW.

On a positive note I am astonished that such a speech was allowed at all. Such an event could never happen in the UK.

  15. Thanks for posting this amazing video, Peter, and for your post.

Have you noticed that this is a Rabbi but is a believer in Jeshua/Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God !!!! It is sooooo powerful!
Actually I see in this a connection with the Locutions TTW that speak of the conversion/union of Israel with the Catholic Church after the Pope is martyred in Jerusalem.
    http://www.locutions.org/2011/02/3-the-pope-dies-in-jerusalem/
Obviously the current -strong- movement of Jews who accept Jeshua although do not integrate with organized Christianity -they remain practicing Jews- will be a very important bridge to help Israel to embrace the fullness of their own faith. I can't wait for that to happen! What a glorious, glorious day it will be!

Perhaps it has already been discussed in this thread, but I just wonder now why the homepage of locutions.org has been hanged. I mean that photo of Monsignor John Esseff and Mother Theresa has disappeared. Do any of you know why ? Is Mgr Essef then no longer the spiritual guide of locutions.org ?

Yes, Elise, quite interesting. I'm fairly sure that if Mgr Essef doubted the messages, he would remove the website. I suspect that Mother Teresa's order of nuns might have asked him to remove the reference to Mother Teresa as, although it probably wasn't deliberate, the way the intro page was presented, it was rather 'using' Mother to promote the LttW messages.

  18. It could be that Msgr Esseff was himself getting too many inquiries via his email on his own blog about these locutions/locutionist et al. Maybe this is just a way to eliminate too much interest in himself and further interpretations out of curiosity.

  19. Whoa, you sure do assume a lot there David...boy, you obviously don't know many good priests.:cautious:

  20. I have analyzed these locutions since february 2013. Even i read all the locutions twice. It
consumed me plenty of time. I wanted to believe it was true, but I could not come to this conclusion.

The idea of the church moving permanently to Jerusalem is contrary to what I read in Maria Valtorta's works and dreams of St. John Bosco and others sources. There may be a temporary change but not permanently. The Pope may leave the Vatican and stay in exile for a while. In these locutions they insist to not back to Rome after this exile. The goal of these locutions may be to create a schism in the future.

Anyone with a powerful mind who knows the third secret of Fatima can write these locutions, and a fallen angel would do this very well. Be very careful with them. The angelic mind is infinitely superior than our.
