My littlest is sick again... This has been a rough last few months for him as he's gotten sick with a fever at least once a month since May. Right now he has swollen tonsils that have him refusing most food and drink since it hurts to swallow. He didn't sleep at all two nights ago and was up every 15 min last night crying out, so I am very sleepy and emotional and on my own with the 3 kids since my husband is working overtime for a couple days. I sure would appreciate your prayers that he get better quickly and sleep/eat well again. Thank you!
So hard PF. Poor little guy must be miserable. Everyday life is chaotic enough, but when your child is sick it takes it to a different level. Prayers going up for you, and your little one. When you are sleep deprived everything seems worse.
I’m sorry, but this really makes me feel bad for both of you PF. How old is he? Isn’t there a pain reliever that he can take so he can swallow without pain? He must be hungry and you’re overwhelmed…. I had a severe irritation in my throat and found that Aleo Vera juice helped a lot. You can’t drink too much, but when chilled, it soothed my throat so much. It comes in berry flavor. I love it… I guess his doctor would have a approve it. It’s over the counter at Walmart. Praying for both of you…!
He's 19 months old. It seems Motrin does help a bit but Tylenol not so much. He's had so much medicine already with ongoing fever the last few days that I'm trying to let a couple hours lapse before giving him his next dose of Motrin. Especially with how little he's eating.
PF…you’re probably are very sleep deprived. I wish I was there to babysit and let you get a nap. Would be wonderful if you both could get a good nap/rest. This is my prayer for you both right now! Dear Lord, give them rest!
He had a little bit of Pedialyte yesterday but won't drink any more. He has been drinking more water in the last couple hours and ate some sausage and berries after refusing food all day, so that makes me feel much better. We're off to try to nap. Thanks so much for your prayers!

Can’t imagine being on your own. My sons 3 girls (3 under 3-1/2 ) all caught RSV and were sick for well over a month. But, luckily we are nearby so could help. Praying for you PF.
