Hello to my dear friends and favourite people, Its been 9 weeks, with my eldest daughter and four of her five children here at my home over most of the ongoing lockdown, it has been wonderful as well as tough. They went home to Newcastle ( and to her Husband and eldest child), on Tuesday this week and yesterday the day after they left, Wednesday, I was awoken by another daughter by a phone call at 530 am who needed my help, as her 4 week old baby, has not been allowing much time for her to sleep and she has three other young children. I have been in a whirlwind for the last 2 months, (with many of my children) and God has allowed only an extremely limited time for anything other than children, grandchildren, housework and prayer. I feel exhausted. But the Lord has provided many blessings! Praise be Jesus our Lord. Australia (especially the State of NSW, the State I live in) is in the midst of the most horrendous and incomprehensible tyrannical marshal law, it is unbelievable. It would be laughable only it is real and is negatively affecting so many people , with a majority of people now in lock step with this NWO of mandated vaccines. I will hopefully be able to post more often. Please keep us in your prayers. The Lord is so magnanimous, He has provided, even though the evil one has become bold and showing his hand in many ways. I have been amazed at how brazen the evil one is at the moment and my daughter saw this, the evil one is attacking in all areas of life, even in small things. It is so blatant and so consistent. This is what I feel we will all face in the near future. Be strong in prayer. Because through our prayer, Our Lord Jesus and His Most Holy Mother Mary and His Blessed Father St Joseph along with all the Saints and Angels are stronger!! Even if we doubt in moments of trial, they supply the miracles and this is due to our humble trust and prayer. You've remained in my prayers over these nine weeks; I believe the communion of saints is a powerful force and praise God I will continue this intercessory prayer and I thank you all for your continued prayer. My heart breaks for you, your family and your country! I’ve watched in absolute horror at what tyranny is occurring in your nation! It’s absolutely unbelievable. I’ll pray for your intentions….for all of you. God give you the strength and blessed fortitude to withstand the onslaught of the evil one because it is surely from him!

I get upset at times because I have 3 adult children that have taken the jab and now we - the unvaccinated - can only access very essential places although we still have mass and Adoration . Hi Josephite, so nice to hear from such a faith filled person. You are a tonic. I'm in hospital at the moment and I've been questioned as to why I have not taken the vaccine several times. I've answered by saying I have an ethical problem with the vaccines on offer because of the link to abortion. They accepted my answer OK. We are living in a strange time getting stranger by the day but hey the victory of Our Lady is around the corner.
What a strong Faith you have and an interesting challenging life and a big heart. When I think of Australia I think of the words of GK Chesterton, 'The people that do not believe in God will have Government for their God'.
As to the future, I came across a wonderful talk on Sensum Fidelium yesterday on Signs and what is to happen in the future. The Father said that what is to come can ll be read in the Bible. That what happened in the past is a Type of all that is to come. I had never heard this idea expressed so well before. Wonderful.
This thread seems most appropriate to share big family life changes currently in transition. How many times have we been reminded to let go of what ties us to this life? To continually keep our focus on Christ? My dad has been in the same house now 50 years. I have lived here most of those years. He is now planning to move to an apartment in a Retirement community come first of the year, purely independent living. We sure have our 'stuff' that we associate memories & people!! Landscaping items, yard decor, furniture we have had for 30-50 years, gifts given by relatives, etc. All cherished people & memories. Many blessings to having the same family home all these years...lots of love & lots of Italian/Irish bantering (you KNOW what i mean). No fires or natural disasters, no trees destroying the house, etc. Further, my sister/brother in law/nephew are visiting for the weekend, staying here at the house! They are also fully vax'd. Perhaps, they will decide it's really OK in spite of my choosing NOT to get what is available. Perhaps they will come & stay at Christmas. Yikes, really?! The last Christmas in this house? Well, it happens. Dad wanted to sell 20 years ago. to let most GO, keep some. To cling always to Christ!!
