It’s interesting to read about expanding delta in something other than coronavirus.....

Also October starts their rainy season. The layer of ash all over the island from the volcano absorbs many many times it’s own weight in water when it rains, dramatically increasing the new weight on that shelf.

I pray the Chaplet of St Michael frequently. I think prayers will help fulfill St Michael’s intentions. I started praying the Chaplet after visiting Mount St Michel in France. It is such a beautiful place, that does not seem part of this world. I visited as a tourist, not expecting it to be such a beautiful spiritual place.

Isn’t that where the tide comes in and shuts off the way in for awhile?

After praying St Michael’s Chaplet frequently for over a year, we closed on our family farm. The closing date happened to fall on the feast of St Michael! I am sure it was not a coincidence.

No coincidences in this case. To my mind St Michael sent you a "postcard".

Yes, it's possible that THAT SHELF may break off. None of the other shelves generated by past eruptions have broken off, and several have been built upon. IF that particular shelf breaks off, any tsunamis will be small and localized.

The tsunami that people keep fretting over would only happen if a large section of the island from just north of the volcano and stretching maybe a kilometer both north and south of the volcano would suddenly shear off. Currently there's no evidence that something like that will happen soon. One warning sign would be if the seismographs would detect a significant amount of water intruding on the rift. If a significant amount of water would be absorbed in the ground by that rift AND the magma would reach the water, that would be concerning because then the water could flash over to become steam. This would lubricate and separate the two sides of that rift, making it more likely to break away from the main part of the island.

  12. Volcanic eruptions are caused by the process of nucleosynthesis (see physicist Steve Jones) , more commonly know as "cold-fusion". The accepted theory (unproven) that magma is produced from the friction between the tectonic plates has itself collapsed. However, those who maintain the pillars of science are slow to abandon old ideas in light of new evidence, more as a face-saving measure than anything else. Although of late, science is moving incrementally towards acceptance of nucleosynthesis by adopting, little-by-little (without credit), elements of the process as though they knew all along...what is called the 'creeping-crud' or intellectual turpitude.

The voids you mention are the key to the potentialities of a Krakatoa magnitude explosion when a large, sudden influx of cold, dense seawater under high pressure at depth enters the chamber where nucleosynthesis is taking place. This would produce a steam bomb equivalency on a mega tonnage scale with correspondingly devastating results.

La Palma is potentially a giant steam time bomb set to go off in accordance with God's own time table. Vast clouds of steam were recently emitted from Cumbre, an indication time my be running out. (See at minute 1:02)

We never said you aren’t welcome here. Quite the opposite. Personally I’d like to see links from others backing your theories about volcanic nucleation.

Just try to stay on the topic of the thread and keep non Catholic related personal conjecture to a minimum.

Awesome! Bushcraft Bear closes today’s report with a reading from the Psalms. I just knew this guy had something of Faith about him.

Lots of falling rock from the eruption today. I wouldn’t want to be out there without a helmet, goggles and respirator:

Yes, he observes a Saturday Sabbath. He may be a Seventh Day Adventist. I think he may be German but that's a wild guess based only on the way he pronounces "w" as "v".

Yes, I do believe he is German. Some of his videos which predate the volcano are of him camping in German forests.
