    Thanks. Have bookmarked it.

The volcano does seem to be less active tonight. That side vent burned itself out.

P.S. I think Malachi is injecting a little irony. While it's wise to remain alert, we shouldn't let fear overwhelm us especially when the likelihood of a big tsunami is very slim.

I know that I spend a lot of time watching the volcano and I'm sure that if anything major happens it will be when I'm not watching. Such is life. God love the poor folk who have lost their homes.

Before and after photos. Look at the thickness of the lava where it crosses this road. 78D7BF8B-6ADC-431F-A32A-71D29176F546.jpeg

Well that's not what I needed today. I'm having such a discouraging time today because my brother has yet again blown up at everyone and decided not to go to Mass when I really had thought he was starting to care about his faith. Every little thing seems to be going wrong, even the priest and altar servers were stressed out and making mistakes. Discouragement and strife seem to be hanging in the air like a cloud. And then I see that the church we thought was miraculously preserved has gone down in flames anyway. :( I need some extra prayers today.

Massive land slides today. May block port . The airport is already closed, so if the port is blocked the poor people have no way off.

Also these big land slides may be the start of something bigger?

Surely that's a sign of pressure from further up the hill - not a good sign in my opinion.

Prayers. But PF may I offer that perhaps without his knowing he is doing a service for you. Bringing you to another cross. Not to be polyanna or “holier than thou” but these moments are tines of grace to offer the other cheek. I’m not generally good at this - but I’m being prompted to try. I will pray for you and your brother. He will see your faith and grace in this moment. Peace.

That would fly in Ireland-we don't need earthquakes or volcanoes to crack our roads.
