So with the Church as with his parents, he hates it and wishes to destroy it and yet it is the Church who made him everything he is and has. A true love hate relationship. True he wants to destroy it; but he wants to ensure that he himself is the one to destroy it. Others destroying it is not quite good enough. He has to be the one to do it. He and he alone. It's difficult to comprehend an ego like this , but there you go. The Germans are doing rather too good a job of it and stealing his lime light. In my opinion this level of hatred is the true definition of evil. About as pure a form of hatred and wickedness as you're ever going to get. This phrase - “Source and Summit” - grates on my nerves. It’s a VII phrase, right? That’s the best we can do to describe the sublime Real Presence, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist? Does this banal phrase, repeated ad nauseum, drive anyone else crazy, or is it just me?
