Life one year from now

I saw the title of this thread and thought, "wow!" 'This should be interesting...'
I read somewhere, just before the summer, that the summer (just passed) would be the last normal summer that humanity would experience.
As Beth - or was it Purple Flower or someone in the forum said in another thread: "buckle up!"

 

Listening to the radio here today (in Northern Ireland) - Nolan, SDLP, BBC and others are aggressively calling for vaccine passports - and sacking people from the workplace who aren't jabbed. Heath Service and hospitality employees will likely be among the first sacked.
My wife and I are both health service employees. We have 4 kids. One at university, one in primary school and 2 at secondary.
We have a mortgage.
We're starting to get really concerned.
We're talking about one of us getting it. But which one?
And how do we decide that?
We've discussed both of us not taking it, and leaving our plight to Jesus and his blessed mother.

 

Prayers. No one should have these worries.

 

Our Lady said to a visionary about two or three years ago,

'Everything is falling apart!'

How true this is. We see it so clearly now, everything is indeed falling apart right before our eyes. Not least in Our Holy Mother the Church.

 

Sadly, I have been saying these exact words to my family. You try to be positive, but you know in your heart it is going to get worse. So many people are in denial.

 

May I share with you something I felt was revealed to me during my rosary a few days ago? Faced with the possibility of my husband (our sole breadwinner) losing his job over the vaccine, we had been stressing a bit over what to do...how to approach it, if we'd have to leave our home...

I was distressed so I went to my prayer room and prayed a decade very slowly with my face almost on the floor. Halfway in, I felt these words, "Mary didn't even know she was going to be the Mother of God until the moment it happened." I stopped and let that sink in. Mary, the holiest person to have ever lived, wasn't told by God ahead of time so that she could prepare for being Christ's mother. She had no preparation at all. The grace was given the moment it happened. She said yes and, boom, she was pregnant. She was led and given what she needed as it occurred.

I continued to pray. Then I heard "Joseph wasn't told to flee with his family until the middle of the night, at the last minute." It was such a last minute warning that the Holy Family didn't even have time to pack or really process what was happening. God could easily have told the most holy St. Joseph and Mary what was coming so they could prepare themselves, but He chose not to! And why?

Because God greatly values trust in Him. He loves it so much! It allows Him to be God and us to be His dearly cared for children. I don't know what lies ahead for my family, but what I do know is that God will lead us and give us exactly what we need when we need it. He always has. And that gave me such reassurance, relief and joy. We are so very blessed to have a loving Father Who knows and sees all, and Who loves to care for those who rely on Him for every detail of their lives.

 

Yes. Many, many people are in denial. It's coming to each of our doors. And people just don't want to acknowledge it. Even though they must in melancholy moments suspect it.
The covid virus coming to our door was one thing. But this, this dismantling of people's lives is another totally sinister thing altogether.

And they've been so slippery about it. Taking out one group out at a time.
Pretending at the start that there were vaccine shortages. Then offering it only on a limited basis to the vulnerable. Then the over 60s, over 50s, etc etc.
After that, they "suggested" vaccine passports. And slipped-in the word "mandatory" here and there.
Next they've singled out certain groups: hospitality workers or health care workers and such.
All the while villifying the unvaxed.
The thing is, it's so transparent - it's overtly see-through! It's right there in front of us, yet people choose not to look.
Even when boosters are mentioned, no one questions it???! No one even asks, "how many boosters?" -- "for how long?!?"

I've come to realise that when people don't believe in God, they'll believe in anything.....and they believe anything these corrupt bleedin government tell em!!!

I see God in those volcanoes and possible tsunamis. For I think the new world order's plans are so far advanced, that only a massive God sent-catrastophe will be a mercy - as well as being the only thing that can stop them!!!

As well as all of that, nobody seems to know who is driving it all. Well, we know who's behind it spiritually; but who are the humans beneath that?
God, I'm sorry for the rant folks, I just had to get all that out...

 

I suppose in a Human Sense it is Natural enough. We just suppose that things will keep going on as they have always been. Maybe with a few hiccups, but the big letter phrase in everyone's mind is, 'When things get back to normal.'

St Augustine in his Book , 'City of God', mentions this effect. When word came to them in his North African Diocese of Hippo that the City of Rome had fallen how difficult it was for them to accept. It seemed impossible, as though the sky had fallen. I think that is maybe why Augustine wrote that Great Book; to remind us that Heaven is our Homeland, our Rome.

Things change , yet things remain the same.

We are like that. The sky has fallen in, but we wait for a,'Back to normal', that is never ever going to come...

I had just posted my rant.. and when I looked back on the screen your answer was waiting for me.
You are right.
You are so very right.
We'll reflect more on the vaccine (tho I already know in my heart that neither of us - nor our kids, are taking it).
I always said that I'd love the opportunity to place all my trust in God. Looks like I'm going to get it.
Let's buckle up!!

 

You are right, a 'back to normal' moment is not coming.
This is the beginning for the people's of the affluent West.

Perhaps it is better then to give up material possessions early in the battle BY CHOICE. To choose to trust in God; as opposed to turning to Him later-on in the fight, because you have no other option....

 

It's hard letting go.

Even if you're trying your best to lead a good Spiritual Life , it's hard to let go. Material things tend to cling to us like a black sticky tar.

But we are men not angels. A certain amount of kindness to ourselves is in order I think.

I always recall that St Teresa of Avila one time went and cooked a big steak and served a jug of wine to a Sister who was down in the Dumps withe Dark night of the Soul.

Being kind ot others is great, but being kind to ourselves can sometimes do no harm at all either.

Things are going to get rough enough soon enough without have to add to our own burdens too much. Burdens will come of their own accord.

But it is ,very hard to let go.

St John of the Cross compares the soul tied to the Earth by a little thread. It is only a very little thread, but even a little thread can tie us down. It is so hard sometimes to cut the little threads that bind us.

 

You and your wife and family in my prayers. Difficult times, stressful times. You are not alone. At least six people in my work teaching unvaccinated worrying that it will become mandatory in education. We are like a little club at break and lunch together.

I think we are the talk of the school.

We are all feeling that it's coming quickly down the line.

The problem is where does it stop? It may soon be that you will need the booster to be considered fully vaccinated. They keep changing the goal posts. A never ending series of demands to conform. At some stage we will just have to say no!!

 

We are headed into totalitarianism.

At some stage we all will have to make a decision to say I will not conform.

 

I believe the time is now. Later we would have no standing anymore.

 

That was me. I think I need to trademark it I’ve told so many people over the past year to buckle up

but Trust God, He has a plan. I will advise you this, if/when you are awaken in the middle of the night and feel you’re being prompted to flee, then do not hesitate and gather your family and go. He will give all faithful the word. Trust

but where we are a year from now? I think we will look back a year from now and yearn for the relative peace we have today. I think a year from now the Warning will have occurred, many will have rejected it and we will be in the whirlwind with economic collapse and war having broken out. But hang in, it’ll be a few rough years but then Gods intervention, which will seem like the end, will come to get us to the Triumph.

Buckle up and Trust God, He has a plan
