Heyshepard....I only just posted this a couple days ago. You're nit late at all, and we appreciate all the prayers we can get. Thank you!
It is hard to understand why some have more difficult problems to face than others...though difficult to bear, our faith tells us that God has plans that we may not always understand. Sometimes we just want to scream "God do you know that I am here and struggling so". He knows. I find it comforting to read psalms when I feel like this. I will keep you in my prayers.
Mark I will pray for you! I love the Padre Pio drawing. Where can I access your drawings? They are beautiful....
.thank you, Donna! Very nice of you. I left FB months ago, so have no online venue for any of my work. I'd love to display it somewhere, but where that is, I don't know.
...I, again, thank you for the overwhelming amount of prayers. When I checked my email this morning, I saw that 6 of my drawings had sold on Ebay! I rarely sell online, and this is most unusual. We are now almost halfway to paying off our bill, thanks to all of your prayers. Thank you, thank you thank you....and thank you to The Lord.
Mak1 It appears you got a "twofer" from Heaven... 1. Some $$ coming in and... 2. A recognition of your art work!! Awesome!!
...well, sort of. I see Ebay takes a massive chunk of money for "fees", and it appears the buyer may have backed out of one if the purchases, as I am not hearing from him. Story of my life.
...thank you! God is surely trying to tell me something. First something actually sells on Ebay, but Ebay is withholding funds until the buyer receives the drawings as I've only sold one other thing, before. Then they keep $60 in fees. Our washing machine broke a month ago, so I've been doing two washes a day in two big tubs. Now we find out a plumber has to come to fix where our washer hoses hook up, because of bad corrosion. I swear I could win the lottery tomorrow and somehow end up poorer than I was before I won.
...up(and down) date; As this roller coaster of good and bad news continues, after my above post I received a notification that someone on FB Marketplace wanted to buy my old, antique high chair (I use my wife's empty account to try and sell a few things). Well, I have a questionable habit of wanting to know who it is I'm selling to, so I try to click on their name and look over anything I can see about them. Sure enough, this woman was big into Planned Parenthood and abortion rights. The thought of the high chair my mom and dad fed me in, going into a home like that was just too much. So, I made an excuse and didn't sell it to her. I just couldn't sell it to her , 50 bucks or not. No one needs to comment, and I know you've all prayed so much. I'm grateful. I'm just relaying another twist in the plot, and am posting it for whatever reason, I don't know.
