Strange thing happened. As I watched this little snippet of the movie I felt an urge to say a little prayer for Jennifer Jones. I knew practically nothing about her. Turns out this beautiful, talented lady had a long, successful career but suffered from mental health problems throughout her life and attempted suicide once by jumping from a cliff in Malibu. She lost one daughter to suicide. She passed away in 2009. Please spare a prayer for her, if you can.
You know I very nearly rejected Dusica as a new member due to spam attacks , I think Our Lady gave me a nudge to let him through..divine intervention ????
So interesting about the coming Great Floods. Especially as far as Ireland is concerned. Thoughtful prayers.

Oh I will! Her portrayal of St. Bernadette was perfect! It strengthened the faith of so many of us. Surely Our Lady helped her into heaven for having graced the world with her participation in sharing the miracle of Lourdes in The Song of Bernadette. ( available free on YouTube!)

Thank you all for your warm welcome ! I am really glad that I was led to know about these apparitions and still fascinated how I didn't heard a thing about them before, since they are happening so close to my home. Of course, I believe this was no coincidence...first the discovery of this forum, then the discovery of these apparitions and the whole timing around it so I can make the messages known here in these times. God works in a mysterious ways for sure
Thank you Padraig for this beautiful blessing in our language ... I tried to find more about the secrets, but I wasn't succesfull unfortunately. I will post instead a conversation with Mary the children had about Christmas and a vision Martin the visionary had about the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary. The former is an enchanting read for sure but the latter is a sad but needed focus on the pains our Lord suffered. As I believe too that these children are not making these things up, it changed the way I will look and pray on the sorrowful mysteries and I hope it will deepen your prayers too.
The Christmas apparition The Lord's birthday in 1997 was special for children of Dechtice. On this holiday, they could ask anything about Christmas. To the questions of the visionaries, the Virgin Mary answered: Maria: My mother, how did you and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, what were you going through? Virgin Mary: Joseph and I traveled to Bethlehem for a census, where many other people traveled. The road was very far. I was sitting on a donkey, St. Joseph holding reins and walking beside a donkey. Joseph told me to rest. But I told him he didn't need to. At my heart I experienced the great joy of the birth of the Savior. When we entered the city of Bethlehem, we stopped in front of the inn and asked for accommodation, as advised by one person who also traveled to Bethlehem. But the innkeeper did not want to accept us for our poverty. One man said that there was a cave outside the city where we could go, that no one was there. Jozef and I came to the place. We praised God and always left everything to God's will. Adrianka: Mom, why did people have such hardened hearts when they knew that Jesus was to be born? Virgin Mary: They had very hard hearts and did not believe that my Son Jesus could come in poverty. They did not wait and could not believe that my Son came in poverty. They expected to be born in wealth. They had very stony hearts like yours. You do not believe that my Son can be born in each of you. You do not want to believe that my Son can be born every day. So they also preferred this world to the voice of their hearts. Jožko: Mom, the bow you came to was stone or wooden? Virgin Mary: It was stone. The roof was supported by wood and there was straw on the ground. Jožko: Were the cribs there, or did Joseph have to make them? Virgin Mary: They were there. In the corner. Jožko: Where did you get the straw from the manger? Virgin Mary: She was there for the sheep. So there was a lot of straw all over the barn. Jožko: Mom, and did the barn have a door? Virgin Mary: Yes, but only so small. Martin: Mom, please, how was little Jesus born? Virgin Mary: My angel! When we arrived in Bethlehem, no one wanted to take us into the house, and we were ruthlessly expelled from the inn for the pilgrims because of our poverty and the fact that I was expecting the birth of my Son. They sent us to a cave house. That was my first big sorrow in my heart. When we came to the barn, Joseph immediately started taking care of me. There was a lot of straw in the barn, so I sat in it to rest. Joseph went to the wood for a fire, but before that he tied the donkey. Then I felt that the time of childbirth had come, but I did not feel any pain. A golden light began to envelop me, and then great bliss penetrated me. God was beside me and with me. I began to pray. I felt the baby move in my womb. Not knowing how, I held little Son, Jesus, in my arms. Joseph came in, and we suddenly heard the singing of angels together around us. The light melted even more across the cave. The angels sang, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Later came the shepherds and some of the inhabitants of Bethlehem. The three sages, led by the star to Jesus, have already found us in one family that has brought us to their home afterwards. Simonka: Mom, what was the star that accompanied the sages? Virgin Mary: That star was from God. She announced with her light that Life had been born. Not human life, but Heavenly. This star accompanied the sages to Jesus. She was given by God to bring them to Him. It was proof that the King was born. A king born of a woman in a poor house. Simonka: What was Jesus like when he was little? Virgin Mary: When Jesus was little, he was very obedient. His heart was full of joy and love. The rays from his Heart radiated and filled every heart. He was very receptive and attentive. For he was my Son and the Son of the Most High. He perceived and remembered everything. People liked him because he was cheerful and helpful.
About the suffering of our Lord Jesus On Good Friday, April 5, 1996, the Virgin Mary showed Martin Gavenda the suffering of the Lord Jesus. He saw it as a film that was accelerated, which Martin explains that it would not be possible to tolerate watching such horror any longer. He describes this vision as follows: When the Virgin Mary appeared to me on Good Friday, she spread her arms and glow spread from them. I saw the suffering of the Lord Jesus according to the mysteries of the sorrowful rosary. It went like this: 1. Who sweated blood for us I saw the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus was leaning against the rocks behind which I saw the trees. He sat on the ground and leaned on a rock. He prayed fervently. You could see in his face how much he was suffering. He was terribly anxious. I saw sweat and blood running down his face from the anxiety. The angel strengthened him. 2. Who was whipped for us Then I saw a large square. In the middle was a large stone pillar. At the top of the pillar, as well as at the bottom, were iron hoops, from which hung chains with chains. They fastened the hands of Jesus in the upper eyes and put the lower ones on his feet. I saw two executioners come and start whipping him. I noticed the whips with which they whipped Jesus. The first were the narrow rods with which Jesus whipped to the blood. These rods cut Jesus' white robe and skin. Then the executioners took long, rough whips, which, while whipping, cut the exhausted body of Jesus even more. Jesus fell from great pain several times during the whole scourging. He must have suffered a lot because he was screaming a lot. Whips whipped not only on their backs, but all over his body. The third whips came. They were shorter sticks with chains hanging from them and balls at their ends. These balls tore the flesh of Jesus while flogging. It was horrible. 3. Which was crowned with thorns for us After this cruel flogging of Jesus, they sat down, took the crown of thorns, and placed it on his head. They whipped the crown of thorns with their clubs while the thorns were digging into his head. They kept mocking him and spitting on him. I saw that the crown they put on his head had very sharp and hard spines. As they pressed her to his head, the thorns of the crown pierced his skin. They pierced his skin on one place and come out under on the other. It was a terrible pain. It cannot be described. 4. Which carried a heavy cross for us I saw a narrow street full of people. The Lord Jesus had a large prism on his shoulders that was tied to his hands - so his hands were outstretched and he walked. He walked among the roaring crowd. His cross was not like two connected beams, but so far only one massive prism that passed through his shoulders. His hands were outstretched and tied tightly against the prism. I saw the Lord Jesus being pushed from one side to the other. They mocked him and spit on him. I noticed the Virgin Mary among the crowd. Jesus also noticed her, and I saw him stand by her for a while. But the soldiers immediately pushed him forward. When Jesus did not rule and fell away, the soldiers forced one man, it was probably Simon of Cirena to support the Lord Jesus and thus help him carry the cross. It wasn't like he took his cross. The Lord Jesus had his hands tied to the crossbar, he could not take it from him. Simon helped him by supporting him under his armpit. The Lord Jesus fell to the earth several times. It was much more than three times. It was a terrible fall. He could not hold back with his hands and always fell on his face. He couldn't get caught because his hands were tied to the wood, as I mentioned. Suddenly a girl ran out of the crowd. It was Veronica who quickly wiped the face of the Lord Jesus with a scarf. But the enraged crowd began to push her away brutally. The Lord Jesus also stood for a moment by the mourning and weeping women. Everything was shown to me very quickly, so I couldn't notice all the details. I probably wouldn't even stand it. 5. Who was crucified for us When the Lord Jesus was taken to Golgotha, they ruthlessly knocked him to the ground. The executioners came running and immediately nailed his hands, but not into the palms, but across the wrists. His legs swung up from the pain. When they nailed his hands, the whole crossbar with the body of Jesus Christ began to rise with ropes to a vertical prism - a vertical arm of the cross, which was fixed in the ground. I saw the Lord Jesus cry a lot of pain. It was something cruel and terrible. Then they nailed his legs, under which they inserted a piece of wood. On both sides of Jesus, I saw criminals hanging. When Jesus died, the earth began to shake. After a while, everything stopped. A lower-ranking soldier came running up to him and pierced his side with a spear. Blood and water flowed from him. The Virgin Mary closed her hands, the glow disappeared, and after a while she said, "Dear child! You have seen how much Jesus suffered for you out of love."
