A sad thing happened to me in Church Sunday week ago. A priest was visiting from Preston In England. I past him by up in the loft where he has playing the organ and we said Hi (I go up there to be far apart and be alone.) I took the strangest notion that I would like to meet a priest or someone holy after mass to have a chat with. Anyway after mass I waiting a while to pray and when I went down below there was this priest standing there waiting to greet people on the way out. I thought to myself how wonderful now's my chance (people are inclined to flock round priests like bees round honey). However it is my fixed practice after mass to go into the main Church to reverence the statues and Holy Pictures, light candles, kiss feet , pray from statue to statue, admire everything, even smell the flowers.. as the Easterners Reverence icons. A kind of Church pilgrimage..this can take some time.... Came out priest gone. Bummer.
Robert strikes me most of all as a humble man. I look forward to his promised writing on Bugnini. Safe in the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
It was quite wonderful. He was quite wonderful. Fr Ripperger just uploaded a talk on modernism going through St Pius X's encyclical.SO WORTH listening.
Like your good self. Always a pleasure and uplifting experience to read your posts my brother. This forum is a treasure.
There is a video on YouTube showing a dance performed during a Masonic ritual. I was unable to post it here though, due in part to me being hi-tech illiterate at times. Find it on YouTube and maybe you can post it here.
Hi Claire It was uploaded yesterday ftom sensus fidellium entitled "Oath Agsinst Modernism" He really nails the whole thing.
Im afraid that we now do understand the pope….he wants the Latin mass gone. His rigidness is apparent. I think I really do better understand him now
https://www.cardinalburke.com/presentations/traditionis-custodes Cardinal Burke's latest.....very good article about the recent debacle concerning the Latin Mass.
Yes, we want you to count on us Holy Father! All Glory to God, whether Latin Mass or Novus Ordo. Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
