TAIZE - MUSIC OF UNITY AND PEACE CD Running time approx. 60 minutes Taiz is a unique ecumenical monastic order in Burgundy, France, with more than 100 Brothers from 30 different countries. This recording is an extraordinary collection of the most beautiful chants and hymns of the Taiz community, sung by the Brothers, with some guest artists. At the heart of this beautiful music is simplicity, repetition and prayer. It is music to enjoy and share, but also to sing to, and meditate on. 19 hymns in French, English, Italian, Latin. Add to the cart or wish list above. Taize - Music of Unity and Peace CD - Catholic CDs - Books and Media | Leaflet Missal (leafletonline.com) 2. Veni, Sancte Spiritus Do some people call "Taize" centering prayer?? I don't know what that means really, I think in part, it is repeating the same thing over and over.... only one minute, thirty five seconds... nice and simple.
I saw it when it came out and just remember being disappointed with the movie. I did however recently buy the DVD for a nice price - I figured I would give the movie another shot. I’ve also given up TV and live off of watching my Catholic movies on dvd. Not that I get a chance to watch very often ...
This is a popular book on Medjugorje by the late Father Richard J. Beyer, he went over there to investigate according to write-ups on him in the late '80s and I gather was convinced that something was happening. His daily reflections always seem to have something interesting. For July 7th, he does quote the Desiderata and urges one to reflect on it. Recent version: That book has all kinds of wisdom in it, all kinds of references even if one wasn't into the reported Medjugorje apparitions. I think it's profound. I've purchased 2 of them and probably should get another one because my present one got caught in a rainstorm and the pages are stiff but it is totally readable. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot - Sam Cooke Steal Away - Sam Cooke Sam Cooke's group before he struck out on his own were the "Soul Stirrers" who were considered real legends.
