So perhaps some of the info in the books is wrong, or we don't have all the information....

Think about this as a hypothetical possibility...

Our Lady tells Conchita the April Miracle day of the month, say April 15th. But she also tells her (unreported to us) that the martyr's feast day is currently August 15th (St. Tarsisius) but will later be moved to the Miracle date. God gives her the feeling she should not mention the moving of the feast day.

It really doesn't matter which day or year. God asks us to watch and be ready.

If we actually guess correctly the day of the Warning and the Miracle ahead of time, but are not in a state of grace, it will have done us no good.

If, on the other hand we have no clue when it is coming, but preserve in a state of grace...We have lost nothing by not knowing.

We also show a lack of faith by concerning ourselves too much with dates.

Prayer, penance, frequent reception of the Sacraments:
These are the mysteries we need to live...Not riddles we need to figure out.

 

I even considered that the celebrations of the 3 martyrs who are or have already been celebrated in April (St. Stanislaus, St.Hermenegild and St. Tarcisius) would be moved to the same date in April; but there would have to be a very strong reason for the Pope to do that.

 

Since Garabandal was not recognized by the church all these is waste of time. None will happen in a timetable spoken at Garabandal

I think it is good to be prepared. If we are prepared, we have a rough idea when it will come. And, just as important, when it will not come. So for e.g. the Warning will not come this year, since the nearest Saint possible is St. Hermenegild for Apr 13, 2023. That means the Warning can't come in 2021 but at the earliest only in 2022.

My personal estimation is that the Warning is not more than 10-15 years away. In 2038, the world will cry "woe" according to St. Bridget's prophecy. Many interpret that as a reference to the Three Days of Darkness. Since the Three Days of Darkness comes by 2038, then the Warning will have to come at some point before then.

So the the three dates of 2024, 2030 and 2034 are looking good. If you think odd years and Holy Thursday are possible also, then 2023 and 2028 are added to those 3.

At any rate, let's continue to pray and prepare, and offer sacrifices for billions of souls to be saved when it comes.

 

It is true that the Church has not approved or for that matter disapproved of Garabandal, but the fact that St Padre Pio and St Mother Theresa of Calcutta believed in the apparition, is good enough for me.

There is a commonality among the Marian aparitions in the 20th and now the 21st centuries, they all are basically an admonition by our Lady to prepare our souls for our salvation. Let us not forget that while we bandy about many eschatological dates, we too have our individual date with death, whereupon the need to be ready for this event is of primary importance to each of us. From Fatima to Akita and more Our Lady and Her Son, Our Lord, warn us of the importance of being ready, they urge us to go to mass often; to go to confession monthly if not more often; to read the gospels; and of course to say our daily prayers, primarily the rosary every day, among other things.

We must also remember that many private revelation which have been approved, were at one time not-approved, for a variety of reasons. Look at the history of the Divine Mercy, it took that private revelation quite some time to be finally approved. And then, there are those which were once approved and which are for now not approved such as Our Lady of All Nations.

Conchita is supposed to be the only one of the alleged visionaries to know the date of the claimed miracle. Loli was allegedly told of the date of the warning but died without anyone else being aware of the date, which raises the question, why was she told?

 

I would like to know the answer to this as well. There is much about Garabandal that gives me pause, though my mind remains open.

 

According to this informative video that Glenn posted, Conchita did give the date to the Vatican....so, if this is correct, they have that date as well. That's pretty interesting.

That video is a good summary on Garabandal.

There is a website, "Unity Publications" and I exchanged emails with the late Rick Sabato a few times, he ran "Unity". And again, maybe some know of this website already. It seems a bit like when I read what a skeptic here says, sometimes, it's the same as what Rick said. However it is about Rick's writings, I think basically, he had good intentions.

Be forewarned, he wrote some pretty negative things about some apparitions folks here like. But he still had a lot of articles worth reading, so don't get upset if one reads negative things he said. Perhaps better to read it and refute it.

Well pope francis will probally visit russia moscow june or july of this year. So the warning may not happen this year. So 2024 could be possible after the pope returns europe will start getting into turmoil.
I dont like guessing dates but it just feels so close.
I know the warning will be terrifying but good because maybe alot of people will repent. And come to the true church. We need a miracle.
