Calling all Irish Members - Act Now

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

When the Holy Mass was treated like a crime in Ireland in the past. The people without the Holy Mass turned to Holy Rosary, calling it the dry Mass.

History repeats itself on 17th March 2021. Be not afraid and ensure no one responds should lefties interfere like they did on 6th January in USA.

If Irish people can not pray publicly in their own native land, we know God has been kicked out of Ireland. Maybe we need to know the truth.

But I do remember at the pro life march I wasn't far behind the Holy Face banner. What a joy it was to gaze at His face while we waited to march. A proper St Patrick'sDay march with the rosary would be lovely

Yes Krizevac, I too was at the pro life marches and felt the joy of witnessing to our faith whilst being ridiculed and spat upon by non pro lifers
Yes a prayerful St. Patrick’s day march would be lovely. Hopefully it won’t turn into a shouting match.

You know this is really something for me to read these posts. Living in the U.S. where I can go to church anytime I want to. In Alabama the only restriction is wear a mask and self distance to every other pew. And the choir can sing etc. So I am not feeling the angst you are feeling in Ireland. But I must say that I don't think St.Patrick or his followers would have been afraid of the druids spitting on them or cursing them. I can see St.Patrick smiling at them . . .my Dad was a very strong fearless Irishman. We grew up with that! If you've ever seen the movie 'The Quiet Man", that was my Dad. He was even a non professional boxer in his younger days, joined the Marines in WWII and went up Mt. Serabachi on Iwo Jima in the war and was wounded in action. He was never afraid of a good fight . . .he taught us kids to arm wrestle when we were very young, even the girls, ha! In fact, he loved a good fight . . .he would be first in line for your march if he were alive. He would be so disgusted at those who would not march, I can hear him now. He was also very Catholic, raised in a Catholic orphanage. He would say, 'bring em on' . . even if it landed him in jail. And he was not afraid to die, in fact, he just was not afraid. So, I will be interested to see how your march all shakes out. But I am sending you a little tune to sing on your march, it was a favorite of Abe Lincoln . . .he took alot of flack in his day, too.

Once English men in red coats terrorised us from going to Holy Mass, now Irish men in blue coats terrorise us from going to Holy Mass

I'm not going to speak for BC as I'm sure he's well able to speak for himself.

If I was afraid of being jeered and spat at I would not have been at the Pro Life march. If that was the only consideration there wouldn't be a problem. You suggest we are not man enough (or in my case woman enough) to stand up for our Holy Catholic faith. If it were simply a matter of breaking the law and risking the fine for travelling further than 5 km but there are other considerations. There are some very, very frightened people because of the virus. They are so nervous and scared it's disturbing to see.

'You put my life at risk to go to Dublin for your own selfish reasons.'

'You put my mother's life at risk for your own selfish reasoms. The church is open. Why couldn't you pray there ?'

I have vulnerable relatives. I still have to go in to work some days. I'm not sure what answer I would have for these genuinely terrified people.

As I say, I am not entirely convinced yet Katfalls that attending the march is the right thing to do. I'm still turning it over in my head.

Your father sounds like a wonderful man Katfalls and my own parents were very devout indeed RIP and passed the faith on to us Thank God.

But don't tell me I'm not marching because I'm afraid of being spat on or going to jail

To be precise, St Patrick did not 'bring' the faith to Ireland, a number of missionaries preceded him. St Palladius was the first bishop of the'Christians of Ireland'. Rather St Patrick was sent by the church to consolidate and promote the faith

Don't feel bad about not being sure if you would go to a rally or not. That is surely a free choice, and no one needs to approve or disapprove of your decision.

I know what you mean when you say people make comments about us being selfish, putting other people's lives at risk, I have been told that about going to Mass. And not only that but by other Catholics whom I thought were devout. There is naught as queer as folks; as they say up North.

Some people are so scared, they think if we stay locked in our homes it is the only safe thing to do. But you have to consider vulnerable relatives whom you would want to avoid putting under unnecessary stress. God bless you and your decision. Peace :)

In this little movie the only thing that disappointed me was there was no mention of the numerous people Saint Patrick brought back from the dead. In one instance at least he brought a man back who had been dead for thirty years; to prove to the Irish people there really is a life after natural death.

We seem to accept our fate without question. I can't believe we are looking at restrictions until possibly Dec 21 according to Varadkar. I don't watch TV so missed this :(

To add: they are also under the impression we're all going to roll over and take this vaccine

It’s interesting how one can say they felt joy at witnessing to the faith whilst being ridiculed and spat upon, and this can be somehow understood as being fearful?
If I or my friends were afraid, we would never have attended any more marches. I’ve lost count of how many we did attend. But we did learn a few tricks, engage the protesters in conversation, many of them were just understandably angry at the church etc. I wouldn’t mind, but the clergy were for the most part silent on the issue.
But as Krizevac mentioned, there is more at play this time around. My neighbour living like me in a rural area has spent 3 months on a machine in ICU with covid. So there is a huge fear here especially in older people, a growing anger among middle aged, and a somewhat couldn’t care less attitude among the young. I drove through my local village this eve, passed the church where we can’t attend mass, lots of young people around, no social distancing, no masks in shops etc. My first thought was, “Great! The virus is gone!” Sadly this is not the case.

Hopefully more people are about to start questioning things when they see the latest news - https://gript.ie/look-for-ways-to-increase-insecurity-anxiety-and-uncertainty-zero-covid-document/

Here is the text from the article -

Gript can reveal that members of the Zero-Covid advocacy group ISAG have recently been instructed to “look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety, and uncertainty.”

The revelation comes from a trove of hundreds of emails, draft documents, and ISAG internal communications that were recently leaked to Gript.

ISAG members were instructed to “review and internalise” instructions to “look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety, and uncertainty”, and to “go after people and not institutions” because “people hurt faster than institutions.” The instructions were shared to the group by Professor Anthony Staines, one of the founders of ISAG, in a note titled, “Notes from 2020-02-08 ISAG meeting” (the note’s title contains a type, it was actually posted on the 8th of February, 2021). The note reminded ISAG members of the importance of ridicule as “man’s most powerful weapon” and that “the threat of a thing is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” ISAG members, many of whom are regular guests in Irish media, were told that they could count on “imagination” to “dream up many more consequences” than they themselves as “the threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

These instructions are based on Saul Alinsky’s book Rules for Radicals, which argues that the creation of conflict is necessary for activists to succeed and that organizers should find, or create, an “enemy” who can be singled out, personally blamed for everything that has gone wrong, and attacked and ridiculed unmercifully – regardless of if the chosen “enemy” actually bears responsibility for the things you are blaming him for. The book tells organizers to allow “no middle ground.”

Interestingly a copy of Alinsky’s Rules was sent to ISAG by Dr Gabriel Scally, a Northern Irish public health physician best known in the Republic for authoring the Scally Review into CervicalCheck. Dr Scally is involved with the Zero-Covid advocacy group Independent SAGE and has made numerous comments to Irish media on the need to support the adoption of Zero-Covid policies within Ireland. Independent SAGE was set up as a left-wing alternative to the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) which is advising the British Government.

We offer Professor Staines multiple opportunity to comment on this story prior to publication, but he has yet to do so. "

This has to be conspiracy theory on steroids. In any case it should be like water off a ducks back to anyone who believes God is in charge of our destiny.

God save Ireland said the heroes, God save Ireland say we all. And to hell or to Connaught with the looney left says Julia.
