Most of our phones have a health app that includes a tool to read O2 levels. Is it as accurate? I don't know. I'm sure it's close.

I got my little one through the post today. I take my temperature every day, just on case. But I think with this, it only truly comes into its own when you are infected. Then it gives warning if you need oxygen/ hospital help. It is a warning gadget. A last ditch thing.

Good to hear everyone recovered. I don't think many people are even aware of how important it is to have an oximeter. Our healthcare providers should take an active role in informing their patients about how critical it is to have one in the home.

Very good advice.Everyone should own a oximeter. They are not expensive.
Glad your family members are recovering...especially since your brother sufferers from cancer.

Non that’s very possible. I’ve followed and read so much on Garabandal. I bet that is the source....bet Glenn would know...

I also keep a bag packed for the hospital just in case. I keep all of my Covid supplements, medical aids etc. together in a special box so I’m not trying to round up everything when I actually do get it.
I actually wrote up my end of life directives for the family and I left money and instructions for masses to be said for my soul after I pass. Just trying to be prepared. If you want it done right, do it yourself:)

Great idea, Beth. I will try and do the same. Sadly, our children would probably never think about having masses said for me, or their dad.

Mine either. My sister and I have a pact to do this for each other. I may send some money to my niece with the same request.

Likewise....that is why I’m taking care of it myself. I’m giving the money to a trusted friend and instructions to have the Gregorian Masses said after I pass....in addition to funds for additional masses. You can also have this request written into your will. If I get the opportunity, I might include that too. I'm not wasting money on a tomb stone to mark my grave so I’ll use that money saved for masses as well. I’m just having a simple marker planted into the grave. I could care less what my grave looks like, but I’m very concerned about where my soul will be resting:ROFLMAO:

Yes AED...that was wise to plan that in advance with your sister. If you get ill, it might not get done later.

Yes, I have an android. It is in the Samsing health app. Scroll down & look for O2 %. You can add features as well.

Thank you, Joan. I did find this under 'respiratory ' in the health app on my iPhone. Unfortunately it doesn't look as though it will work without an Apple watch. :(

I had my parents convinced that they should hold off on getting the vaccine due to legitimate safety concerns because of their advanced age, and health issues. This was all undone today at my dad's appointment with his pulmonologist. The doctor told him to get the vaccine immediately, and he shouldn't believe anyone who tells him that it is not safe. When my dad mentioned the severe side effects, the doctor said it was normal and he shouldn't be concerned, and he has never heard of anyone dying from the vaccine. (n) So now my dad wants to make an appointment for the shot, and I'm sure my mom will do the same. I told them today that it is their decision to make, and I will now refrain from trying to persuade them to hold off any longer. So we'll see what comes of this. I feel like banging my head against the wall. :(

Jo...please don’t worry....just pray. Innocent people are making decisions about the vaccine out of ignorance or fear. God is merciful to those who are victims of deception...if that is what it is. Just put it all in Gods good and merciful hands.

I get it! After all the research I've shared with my Dad, and the reading he's done, he still chose to get Moderna.
