Byron that is the deep sense I have too. God is answering the prayers of the remnant. How He will do it I don't know but I believe I have been reassured of this when I was in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
Let me elucidate. When Hillary was running for President there was a plan to encourage a "Catholic Spring" based on the Arab Spring, that would move American Catholics to support birth control, abortion, women priests, etc. The people doing this planning clearly had no idea of what religion means to people. They were viewing the Catholic Church as just another political movement. And in doing so, they displayed such contempt for Catholicism that the project never really got off the ground. These people will be projecting their own reactions onto Trump supporters. Once the Trump supporters have seen their hero be brought down, they'll drop their support for him, and there won't be a replacement standing in the wings. They don't understand the fear that Trump supporters feel, and that they have a foundation that is more than just a political belief and a politician de jour.
Yep. I saw (a few years prior), a similar aggressive attempt within The Episcopal Church. How very TELLING that those most promoting "inclusion, love, and tolerance" couldn't even manage being friendly at even its most basic level. Cold faces, "what do you want?" type stares, avoidance. CLUELESS.
