WOW!!!!! There is no way that the Catholic justices don’t know that the Blessed Mother is the Patroness of our country under her title of the Immaculate Conception!! I’ve been confident of the President’s victory all along... I could just feel it... but reading this makes me pretty close to 100% sure that he will be declared the rightful winner, which we all know he is. Thank you so much for sharing this, Christy!

    https://m.theepochtimes.com/georgia...call-special-session-on-election_3607979.html

One of the Georgia senators pushing for a special session of the legislature to consider choosing electors for President Donald Trump said the legislature doesn’t need authorization from the governor to hold the session.

“We think that we have a good faith argument that we can go around him. Because if we needed the governor, that’s contrary to what the United States Constitution states, which is that it’s the legislature that’s vested with that authority to determine how electors should be cast, not the executive,” state Sen. William Ligon, a Republican, told The Epoch Times.

Ligon and three other lawmakers drafted a petition calling for a special session, pointing to what they say is evidence of a systemic failure to observe state election code during the Nov. 3 election.

“What we’re seeing in Georgia is a violation of the law, there’s fraud,” Ligon said, pointing to ballots being counted after poll watchers were effectively being told to leave and a water leak that halted the counting of ballots for four hours on Election Day, as well as a consent order that some argue violated the Constitution.

“So what we’re seeking to do is have a special session to review this and then determine whether or not the election was valid,” Ligon said. “And if it was not valid, then the legislature should determine how the votes for the electors… we’ll have to vote for who the electors will be,” he added.

If enough lawmakers band together, some foresee the legislature appointing electors for President Donald Trump, even if state election officials say the vote count shows Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden won the state.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, said Sunday that he opposes calling a special session. A spokesman for the governor didn’t respond when asked whether Kemp believes the legislature can call one without him.

Ligon told The Epoch Times that a majority vote from each legislative chamber is required to convene a special session.

State lawmakers are convening at Athens University, as they do at the beginning of every two-year legislative session. Ligon was on his way there. The Republican Senate caucus was meeting at 4 p.m. to discuss the possibility of convening a session. GOP members of the state House are working on a parallel effort.

The session, if it happens, is scheduled for Dec. 8.

Ligon pointed to litigation that’s ongoing when asked what would happen if lawmakers fail to get enough votes.

“But we believe that the legislature has a role in this. And that role is given to it by the United States Constitution and the legislature makes judgment decisions all the time when it comes to passing laws that affect people of the state. The legislature even has the power to try constitutional officers that are being impeached. So we are a body that can look at issues, make determinations of fact, and then act accordingly,” he added.

Thanks again, WTW! That's another important event that may happen on Dec. 8, Our Lady's Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

I will add the Georgia legislature to my Rosary intentions.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz says he will argue PA election case before the Supreme Court!

Full statement from Sen. Cruz on Twitter late this afternoon:

If #SCOTUS grants cert in the PA election case, I have told the petitioners I will stand ready to present the oral argument.

Because of the importance of the legal issues presented, I've publicly urged #SCOTUS to hear the case brought by Congressman Mike Kelly, congressional candidate Sean Parnell & state rep. candidate Wanda Logan challenging the constitutionality of the POTUS election results in PA.

Petitioners’ legal team has asked me whether I would be willing to argue the case before #SCOTUS, if the Court grants certiorari. I have agreed, and told them that, if the Court takes the appeal, I will stand ready to present the oral argument.

As I said last week, the bitter division and acrimony we see across the Nation needs resolution. I believe #SCOTUS has a responsibility to the American People to ensure, within its powers, that we are following the law and following the Constitution.

Cruz is former Solicitor General for Texas. He holds degrees from Princeton and Harvard Law School. At Harvard, he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Cruz has a reputation as a keen legal scholar; Professor Alan Dershowitz called Cruz, a former student, "off the charts brilliant." Cruz has also argued many times before the Supreme Court.

I think this is a great sentiment but that ship of peace sailed long ago. This world is chock full of atheistic communists bent on deciding things like what you and I are allowed to eat and whether or not we can go to church. I pray for their conversion and I hope for it. However, it's time to stop worrying about tensions. There will never be a lasting peace outside of recognition of Christ as King and LORD over all. Peace at any cost is what got us into this mess in the first place.

I know what you are saying Don_d. My concern is this however, if Trump gets his next four years and we are all praying that he does, then the new problem will be major civil unrest and possible war, God help us, so we need to keep up the prayers for peace for America and the World. It would would be madness to unnecessarily create tensions in such a volatile situation.

Texas Case Challenges Election Directly at Supreme Court

    by Kris W. Kobach

On Monday, just before midnight, the State of Texas filed a lawsuit that is far more important than all of the others surrounding the presidential election of November 3rd.

Texas brought a suit against four states that did something they cannot do: they violated the U.S. Constitution in their conduct of the presidential election. The four defendant states are Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

First, they violated the Electors Clause of Article II of the Constitution when executive or judicial officials in the states changed the rules of the election without going through the state legislatures. The Electors Clause requires that each State “shall appoint” its presidential electors “in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct.”

In the early years of the Republic, most state legislatures appointed their presidential electors directly, without holding a popular election for President. That would change during the early decades of the nineteenth century. But the constitutional principle remained the same. Regardless of whether a state appoints its electors by a vote in the legislature or by a vote of the people, it is the state legislature — and only the state legislature — that sets the rules.

Thus, when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court extended by three days the deadline for receiving mail-in ballots, contrary to the law passed by the state legislature, the state court changed the rules in violation of the Electors Clause. Similarly, when Georgia’s Secretary of State responded to a lawsuit by entering into a Compromise Settlement Agreement and Release (i.e. a consent decree) with the Democratic Party of Georgia, and modified the signature verification requirements spelled out by Georgia law, that changing of the rules violated the Electors Clause.

The second constitutional violation occurred when individual counties in each of the four states changed the way that they would receive, evaluate, or treat the ballots. Twenty years ago, in the landmark case of Bush v. Gore, the Supreme Court held that it violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment when one Florida county treated ballots one way, and another Florida county treated ballots a different way. Voters had the constitutional right to have their ballots treated equally from county to county.

So when election officials in Wayne County, Michigan, ignored the requirements of Michigan law and denied poll watchers access to vote counting, while other counties in Michigan followed the law, that violated the Equal Protection Clause. Similarly, in Wisconsin, when the Administrator of the City of Milwaukee Elections Commission ignored the requirements of Wisconsin law and directed election workers to write in the addresses of witnesses on the envelopes containing mail-in ballots, while ballots without witness addresses were deemed invalid elsewhere, that resulted in the unequal treatment of ballots in the state.

Importantly, the Texas lawsuit presents a pure question of law. It is not dependent upon disputed facts. Although these unconstitutional changes to the election rules could have facilitated voter fraud, the State of Texas doesn’t need to prove a single case of fraud to win. It is enough that the four states violated the Constitution...

FLYNN CASE FINALLY DISMISSED AS MOOT

Judge Emmett Sullivan has dismissed the case against General Michael Flynn.

Accompanying Judge Sullivan's order is a spiteful opinion supportive of the broader Crossfire Hurricane and Flynn investigations. He labels the DOJ dismissal as "pretextual" and "dubious"
