For about 6 years now, we have been harassed by a neighbouring couple who have gone out of their way to be unpleasant following a minor disagreement about inconsiderate parking. They just would not forget the dispute. Instead of just ignoring us, they slandered us to others and would jeer, sneer and hurl insults at us (as long as no-one else was about!). To add insult to injury they told others that we had been harassing them and that they had to call the police to stop us! People avoided us because they were wary of getting on the wrong side of these people so we were being isolated. My wife, who is recovering from cancer, decided that she just couldn't bear it any longer and so I agreed that we would move. However this was easier said than done. After several weeks, we had only a few viewings and only one offer which was way below the valuation and the sum we needed for a comparable property. We were also being disappointed by making offers when an earlier offer had just been accepted or our offer being rejected because we hadn't sold our own property. At the point where it looked like we might have to give up the idea of moving at all, a video about a saintly child called Kathleen Kilbane popped up on the suggested views on YouTube. I watched the video and discovered that this saintly girl was from a village not far from the town where my own father's family had lived for generations. So it occurred to me that we might well have ancestors in common and so share a bloodline. One of those nursing the dying Kathleen and who recognised her sanctity was a Christian Brother who asked her if she would pray for people's petitions when she reached heaven and she replied that she certainly would but that although she might be a little afraid to approach God, she would certainly ask Our Lady! He then asked if she would pray for those who she had never met who asked for her help and she said that she would happily pray for those who heard of her and liked her. So I told Kathleen my troubles and asked for her help. Within a few days, we received a cash offer just short of the asking price and on the very next day after that we viewed a property that ticked all our boxes and our offer for that was accepted. We are still in the transactions stage of matters but everything looks good so far. As a possible 'relation' of Kathleen's, I might be getting special treatment but you could just tell her that Steve sent you!
Awsome! I think I'll go to Kathleen as I'm in the process of moving and we need to find a bigger place for us all.
This so reminds me of a situation I faced years ago. I had a woman boss who hated men ( I am a man). She was extremely overbearing and vindictive. I stood up for my rights and she was on a mission to have me fired....She assigned a supervisor to spy on me 2 times a week for months to find something on me. I felt tremendous pressure supporting 5 kids and a wife at home. So she assigned the supervisor to shadow me for three days in a row, harassing me any time I made a simple mistake. On third day I saw that the traveling Fatima statue was going to be at a church I could stop at during lunch break. The supervisor wouldn't come in the church with me. Our Lady made it clear to me when praying in front of the statue to be at peace....she would take care of it. The manager was transfered to a different area the following week!!! I also watched the video of Kathleen. I asked her for prayers also. A few years ago I also looked up a woman they are investigating for sainthood. She grew up near the same small town as my relatives. The farms were about 8 miles from each other so we are likely related. Her body was found incorupt after years of being buried. She is my go to personal intersesor. The Communion of Saints is a wonderful reality.
Good grief! :-( I'm glad your prayers were answered and she was transferred. Hopefully she'll find the Lord's peace.
This is a powerful story of Our Lady's protection. Thank you for telling us. Kathleen and Our Lady are a winning combination.
Steve thank you for this. I am going to ask her help for a great need involving finding a tenant for my son's house. (He is over seas teaching and needs a tenant to help with the mortgage) I am going to ask this lovely young saint to find the right tenant and I will tell her "Steve sent me." I love her humility about going to Our Lady.
I learned something new today. I'd never heard of this little Saint. God shone through her. I too will ask for a special intention. She'll have Our Lady's and Our Lords ear for sure.

Hi AED I will add prayers for you to find a good tenant for your son . Please pray for me too. I am going to rent a 3 bedroom house, beginning next week, and I need to find a boarder/ Lodger to come and live in the spare room to help me pay the rent. While I look for a boarder/ Lodger, I need to pick up some extra hours of work to help meet my weekly rent payments. I feel anxious about it but am trying to trust Our Lady for just the right person.
It might have been easier if they were both struck dead. I have a picture of Kathleen beside my computer. A father and son...I think form Tyrone sent me the picture and news about Kathleen after they had made that video . I think maybe they maybe they may have made another earlier one as well. Kathleen is wonderful. It is surprising how quickly some saints answer prayers. It is as though they were standing right at your door. Kathleen is very, very quick. Perhaps because not many come to her and ask. She made an error with the not striking dead thingy though.
