we are spiking in NJ...and some say we have entered the second wave. Many schools are closing here again. There is a direct correlation between increased social gatherings (parties, dorm parties) and increased cases. The orthodox community had a big increase weeks after Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashana. But in the hospital I work in , in Ireland things are very, very serious indeed. I am very, very much concerned for the Winter.

Very , very, very much so. This is not the internet, nor utube. This is what I can see before me with my own eyes. We no longer defend just the hospital. We attempt to defend individual Wards in the hospital.

Defending individual Wards, especially at this very early stage, it fills me with trepidation.

If a hospital had a Covid death, they got more money from insurance and the fatalities were not calculated into their morbidity stats....Lots of lying occurred, as you can imagine. So the cause of death may have been some catastrophic preexisting condition but the if the were positive Covid as well, guess what the death certificate said?

 

This is true Donna. The relaxed social distancing restrictions are contributing to the spikes. More employees are no longer working remotely, and have returned to the workplace. It may have been a mistake to reopen the colleges/dorms. We are also in the midst of a surge here in Massachusetts. Boston is not doing well, and their schools are all remote learning. We were in the city last week for my grandchildren’s appointments at Boston Children’s, and the traffic was light which is highly unusual for Boston. It is all very concerning with the holidays approaching. We have not seen our son who lives in NYC since last December, he is terrified to bring COVID home to us. It is a sad situation.

Once again I ask you to watch and listen to the information the experts provide in the videos and get a better understanding of what the science and figures show, maybe pass them to the senior consultant in your hospital as this virus is not his field and that will also give him the opportunity to disagree or agree with the information provided.

If Medical experts and Professors are giving their research findings, examples and statics on youtube video why would I not use youtube? These qualified people on the videos who have experience in this field and based on the studies they refer to or carry out do know what it is. Thank God for these people. The Holy Spirit will grant us discernment and wisdom if we ask, and in my own experience I find the lord uses other people to provide the answers.

Satan is the Deceiver and the Liar. Its important for us to seek truth in all things using the tools available and always praying for discernment.

I think we have ask and demand answers from Governments who are supposed to serve the people not the other way around, why the lockdowns when World Health Organisation (WHO) have clearly stated that this is the wrong thing to do as this will cause further poverty leading to far more healthcare issues and suffering.

Can you also provide the figures for the amount of people in ICU in your hospital that is directly linked to Covid.

Also can you provide the source of the 1 in 100 people are testing positive PCR testing is unreliable (3rd time asking)

Your personal opinion is that "this is a very, very ,very severe chastisement" but in my own personal opinion I certainly don't agree with you. The only references to chastisements that I'm looking at, are to be revealed from the visionaries in Medjugorje and these to be revealed a few days in advance, this is not yet happened.

Making such a claim could also cause anxiety and stress which is not good for immune system.

The damage currently being done to countries is not due to the virus but is due to the wrong decisions being made by governments based on unrealistic modelling on how to deal with the virus.

The medical knowledge and treatments we know have available is far far more advanced than what was available in 1918 pandemic.

As people of God we have a duty to spread Faith not Fear and to continually ask the Holy Spirit to use us and provide the gifts needed to fight against evil. I was privileged to go to Holy Mass this morning and receive Jesus in the holy Eucharist. This was despite the Secular Government forbidding me to attend. The Church is consecrated land and belongs to God and his people.

Jesus told us to be as gentle as doves and as cunning as foxes, so when I attended mass I met the priest and he said he would distribute communion at the end of mass and we nodded to each other. I sat at the rear of the church out of sight off the online webcam and received Holy Communion at the end of mass.

The Irish Government want to destroy out faith by any means and fear is a great weapon so let us not spread FEAR but FAITH & HOPE.

I have never claimed to be an expert, I have asked you to watch and read the articles provided by the Experts and tell me were you find their information or studies to be wrong.

Have you published any research based on your findings or uploaded any videos? If not then why not?

You are claiming the videos I submitted as "Conspiracy videos" calling them "Flippant and silly material "yet you haven't watched any.

You are instantly dismissing the medical experts who are providing the material.

So how can you condemn videos or articles that you haven't even watched ?.

All you have provided is your own opinion and passed judgement on me , and all the people I have referenced including Fr Altman.

Yet Sweden has done ok without social distancing why is that?

 

The present pandemic is nowhere near comparable to the Spanish flu which killed between 50million and 150million people worldwide at a time when the world's population was only 1.8 billion.

To date 1.1 million people have died from covid (as mentioned equivalent to the Asian flu 1957 and the Hong Kong flu 1958).

Thankfully Covid rarely kills young people, a blessing in my opinion.

I am basing my facts on present knowledge of what has happened since the beginning of the year.

It is always possible that the covid virus could mutate to become more deadly.

Present data suggests it has become more infectious but with less morbitiy than earlier in the year.

Of course, it is Autumn so it is always possible there could be a tough winter ahead. I pray and hope not.

 

Let also use the Spirit of Truth overcome the Spirit of Confusion as the lies being told are also causing Fear, so its important that the corrects actual facts (Truth) are brought to the surface.

 

Excellent John. Exactly right. And Padraig is right too. We simply don't know. What it has done for us--which modern people lost along the way--is the realization of our helplessness. Without God we are just straws in the wind falling for that old lie "you can be as gods". This virus is mercurial. It can be deadly or not deadly. It changes and mutates and circles back again. Only God can really help us through this--doctors and governments and peoples and Churches. Only God in Christ can save us. We need to wake up to that truth about covid and everything else.
