I’ll admit I just read through your latest post here quickly only for the first time. I will reread slowly again when the day next provides me a pocket of time. But, did you leave a word out or misspell something because I’m not fully understanding what you’re trying to say in what you boldfaced:
Sorry AN, I know my grammar and spelling is horrible on the forum. I'll try again: Supporters claim Luisa was chosen from all eternity to be the one who spoke "the third fiat". This "fiat" opened up a new and special way live in the divine will. Without Luisa's "fiat" the work of creation and redemption would be incomplete.
Hello, again, Frodo. Okay. So, my present take-away is: 1) Luisa Piccarretta recorded words allegedly from God. 2) Her (possible) words are wonderful to some and problematic to others. 3) The words out there which supporters quote in various ways may be faulty translations, and, therefore, their reliability is put into question until such time as a proper and authoritative translation is completed.(OR, that may not happen at all if, indeed, there exists heresy within them. Thus, for the present, I will approach anything already disseminated concerning the Divine Will with a gentle spirit while asking God if there is anything there that I may need to see which would be beneficial to my spiritual life. Anything of God will eventually promote itself, in a sense, if you know what I mean.~AN
There are three main stages to the Mystical Life. Illuminative, Purgative and Unitive. But God is Master in His own house. A bit like the guy who owns the railway network. If he wants some trains to skip stations or go by different routes , He can do so.
I am enjoying trying to Gift to Divine Will by being present to Jesus, doing the Divine Will all day. Such lovely company. I was wearing a mask on the bus today. I don't really believe very much in wearing masks but I do it because I am forced to. I was wondering idly if Jesus was on the bus would He have worn a mask? The idea idly amuses me. The words, 'Fulfil all righteousness ', spring to mind. Jesus said this about being baptised by John the Baptist. He didn't need to be baptised but He went through with it anyway. At another point I groaned at something embarrassing that happened to me in the past and then I wondered if Jesus was ever embarrassed by something stupid He had ever done? Jesus is good company.
Would Jesus ever have done anything embarrassing? Well I don't really know. To do something embarrassing would not be sin just something stupid. Would then Jesus have ever done anything stupid? It's interesting thinking about these things. This Devotion is throwing my mind in the funniest directions.
This current translation is highly, highly problematic. It is very subtle, but ultimately incompatible with our faith. Luisa's fiat is not necessary in order for the works of Creation and Redemption to be complete. I can't believe that I have to type this out on a Catholic forum. Let me say it again: Supporters claim that Christ chose Luisa for the third Fiat so the works of Creation and Redemption would not be incomplete. Unbelievable, downright dangerous, and incompatible with Tradition, Scripture, and Doctrine.
It's not truth!
It's not truth!
Dear Josephine, Please know that I am not attempting to challenge your assessment of the statement you said her supporters claim. I am not one to look for trouble, but truth. Yes, what you lamented having to post again in boldface on a Catholic forum to a Catholic woman who desires holiness ( hopefully that’s me), sounds like heresy. My ONLY question to that is does it sound that way because it is due to a horribly rotten translation of her works? That’s what I’m waiting for someone above my pay grade to figure out and let me know! Further, why is one of her works okayed and published by the Vatican Press? Does anyone out there have some clear answers?? Thank you. (Boy, this is rough!)~AN

It's not truth. If one day all the troubling aspects of LP theology can be explained as miss-translations, I will be very happy myself. Until then, all I can say is 'take care', to all souls that wish to follow.... this new and divine holiness.
Thank you, Josephite, for your response. Sometimes, it’s hard to see just who it is I am responding to when we all carry over others’ quotes sometimes repeatedly. Sorry about that. Yes, as it is written it is not truth. Your second point makes me feel, at least, someone heard what I’ve been trying to say, which is a relief as I just was not sure how else to communicate my thoughts. Finally, to clarify, I presently do not “wish to follow” ANY devotion until I know all the cobwebs have been swept clean. Peace!
but But how do you know this is true in itself? based on your feeling? but what if your brother doesn't feel the same way? the Catholic church is not a Protestant one, where everyone feels in their own way. this devotion is still something nebulous and the bishop responsible for it has not authorized its disclosure. then perhaps it would be a case of not promoting this devotion, because if it is really true, its time clearly has not come for the church. anyone who is Catholic realizes this. i personally like some parts of it and I wont criticize this devotion or persecute it. I am convinced that its time has not yet come.
'and the bishop responsible for it has not authorized its disclosure' But is this so? Not authorising translations is not the same thing as, 'Not authorising it's disclosure'. There was a time when the Church did not authorise any translations but the Latin Vulgate of the Bible. This did not mean that the Church did not authorise the disclosure of Scripture. They just did not authorise other translations. The two things are not one and the same. My own sense of things is that the Bishop wants a carefully monitored translation in order to preserve the theological sense; not that he never wants a translation at all. If wanted to nix this thing, all he has to is nix it. Why would he bother being so convuluted and confusing as to imply that he nixed it?
I have no doubt mandatory wearing of masks is is all about control. Anyone with the smallest bit of research knows masks, unless N95, do little of nothing against viruses. The fact that here in America mask wearing is predominate in heavily democrat ran states, during this an election year, and the fact that it is those same socialist leaders who refuse to let kids back in schools, demonstrates it is a political stunt to spew their hatred toward Trump and his the roaring economy he had built in the past 4 years. It is a form of communism, because they are forcing churches in these socialist led states to wear masks and limit church participation, thus squelching attendance and apathy towards the sacred. Does anyone think this is God's will? The virus was man-made in China for this purpose and more. When God's chastisements start coming we will know things are more serious then these man-made political driven agendas to collapse societies.
Because of shift work I showed up at my Novus Ordo Parish this morning and was dismayed at what I found. You did not get in unless you wore a mask. People were regimented, I got ordered at what to do and wear to go at least four times. Some people revel in the chance to boss folks about. I agree, this whole things a set up. I wonder what they will pull next?
