My dad, husband, daughter, and grandson were all terribly ill with the virus symptoms back in March, and they all tested negative for both COVID and the flu. It nearly killed my dad, by the grace of God he pulled through. Thanks for the info about quercetin, I will certainly put this on my list. I have been using tonic water, and taking vitamin D, and C since early spring when my family fell ill. It makes me furious when doctors refuse to prescribe HCQ.
I agree Jo. i remember your ordeal. The tests are unreliable. Your experience follows my sister who fell very ill with something exactly like covid but she tested negative. She is over it but not fully recovered. There is something out there that mimics the symptoms but won't produce a positive test result. I read of sn ABC reporter who was hospitalized with it but continued to test negative. He had all the symptoms. The MDs were baffled.

My BIL had pneumonia about 4 weeks back. One day he felt fine and the next he was driving home from seeing his son and felt so ill he thought he was going to pass out on the freeway. He went in to the clinic and was tested and came back negative with two different Covid tests, one returned results in an hour and the other was sent out and returned in a weeks time. He came back positive for pneumonia. In the middle of summer. It makes no sense and it is as clear as mud. Thankfully he recovered quickly and fully. I had spent time with him the week before his illness and had no issue. Neither did his son.
You are describing my sister. She spiked a fever out of the blue. Pneumonia! She barely had a cough. She ended up in the hospital for a few days. Sick as could be. She is still terribly fatigued but slowly getting better. It was not the flu! Not covid. Then what? Scary.
Polish company launches production of a drug for COVID-19 Biomed Lublin has started production of the first batch of a drug for COVID-19 from convalescent plasma. It will be subjected to clinical trials that will begin in about two months, said representatives of Biomed and the Medical University of Lublin on Tuesday. "Today we are starting production, we are starting fractionation," said Piotr Fic, a member of the Biomed management board, at a press conference. "From today, it will be about two months until the release of the anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulin for clinical trials. We will be able to release the drug for clinical trials, probably by the end of October," he added. Biomed is to produce about 3,000 ampoules of the drug in the first batch, that will be administered to patients in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Independent Public Hospital No. 1 (PSK 1) in Lublin, eastern Poland, where clinical trials will be conducted. They will last about four months, after which the drug can be submitted for registration and then be sold. The head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at PSK 1, prof. Krzysztof Tomasiewicz, stated that coronavirus was not going to go away and would probably linger, so creating an effective form of therapy and prevention was extremely important. He noted that administering convalescent plasma to patients has brought about very good results, so a drug made from blood plasma should be effective. "We have really great and optimistic expectations, which are supported by certain experiments. I sent this info to a friend in Australia as a heads-up and warning to her since she has infant grandchildren. How would you all respond to this news item? Her response was to say that she is more worried about her grandchildren being targets of sexual predators in shopping malls and then she launched into other mundane topics. I am speechless as to how to respond! How can people be so blind about the implications of such a law? And so blasé and cavalier about our freedom? God have mercy on her, her children and grandchildren and all of us.

This covid virus has really impacted society. It is all bs and I am angry I have to succumb to all the draconian measures. My sophomore is struggling with her online school. She is in the National Honor Society and has been on honor roll since forever. She is a good student. There are no teachers available to help her with her challenges. The online work is supposed to be 4-6 hours a day and she is working on her subjects literally 8-9 hours a day with no breaks. It is ridiculous. Her friends can't get help either and they are struggling also. And her friends are all on honor roll too so good students also. They have to set up a zoom conference with a teacher if they are having troubles and it takes days to get a response and then they fall behind on their lessons because they have to do a lesson a day. It is ridiculous. I have completely forgotten algebra 2 and geometry. I am helping them with Chemistry because that is one of my degrees and I remember it. I was so angry. I am not really blaming the teachers....I am blaming covid and the global elite who manufactured this farce and unleashed it on the world. They don't care one bit for my daughter who is a good kid. On top of that, all church activities have stopped. She no longer is in choir, or cantor's or goes to youth group and teen prayer groups because all that has been cancelled. She had the good influences of service in church to counteract the bad influences in society and now that has been taken from her. Now she is immersed in politics and riots and online drama with nothing to counteract. Poor thing is in tears every night because she is so stressed out. Our kids are suffering the most with this stupid pandemic. We go to Mass every week but her activities where she was immersed into church life, service, have been cancelled. Which she misses and this adds to her stress. Several of my choir kids, the kids themselves, have emailed me saying how much they miss choir and going to church. It was a family and it was something those kids enjoyed. Just my rant. It is just so hard to see your kid break down every night over the stress of school and her missing normal life.
