Our priest was saying that it breaks his heart that several hospitals and nursing homes are not allowing him to enter their buildings to administer Last Rites. He is a good, holy man. We are blessed to have him. My son was able to make his First Communion in June, and was allowed to receive on the tongue. On a different note, my next door neighbor was saying the other day that he can’t wait for the November election to be over with so all this virus mess will go away. All kidding aside, I realize it’s a worldwide issue. It’s does seem that most country’s are using it to their advantage in some way or another though.
I am afraid that the big lesson it has taught our Leaders, good and bad alike, is how sheep like we are when we are afraid. This is not something they are likely to forget. I suspect if they had asked us to all wear flower pots on our heads there would have been a 100 mile queques at the Garden Centers. Government has become our New God.
I admire very brave people who tell the Truth right out. There is always a huge price to pay for this. I am sure they realise this.
