Just skimming the article totally creeped me out. It was if Satan was writing it. Trying to point out the benefits of an evil undertaking. God Help Us.

We are at a point of unthinkable wickedness. God will not see His creation especially humankind polluted in this way. It truly is as it was in the days of Noah when God had to destroy everything in order to save everything.

Tension mounts in Ladakh as China brings in more troops; India maintains aggressive posturing

    Binu Panicker

The Chinese military is fast increasing its troops in areas around Pangong Tso lake and Galwan Valley along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, sending a clear signal that it was not ready to end its confrontation with the Indian Army anytime soon, people familiar with the situation in the disputed region said on Saturday.

The Chinese side has particularly bolstered its presence in the Galwan Valley, erecting around 100 tents in the last two weeks and bringing in heavy equipment for construction of bunkers, notwithstanding the stiff protest by Indian troops, they said.

There have been reports of multiple incidents of transgressions by Chinese troops in several areas in Eastern Ladakh in the last one week, and soldiers from the two sides were involved in scuffles on at least two occasions, authoritative sources said.

It is learnt that the Chinese army forcefully stopped movement of Indian troops on several occasions when they were carrying out patrolling in Pangong Tso lake area this week.

In the midst of the escalating tension, Army Chief Gen MM Naravane paid a quiet visit to the headquarters of 14 Corps in Leh on Friday and reviewed with the top commanders the overall security scenario in the region including in the disputed areas along the LAC, the de-facto border between India and China.

The sources said the Indian Army has been matching up to the Chinese build-up in both Pangong Tso lake and Galwan Valley and that it is in a much advantageous position in certain other sensitive areas in the region.

The Indian troops are also resorting to "aggressive patrolling" in several sensitive areas including Demchok and Daulat Beg Oldi, they said.

The situation in Eastern Ladakh deteriorated after around 250 Chinese and Indian soldiers were engaged in a violent face-off on the evening of May 5 which spilled over to the next day before the two sides agreed to "disengage" following a meeting at the level of local commanders.

Over 100 Indian and Chinese soldiers were injured in the violence.

The incident in Pangong Tso was followed by a similar incident in North Sikkim on May 9.

In the last one week, local commanders of both the sides held at least five meetings during which the Indian side took strong note of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) erecting a large numbers of tents in areas in Galwan Valley which India felt belonged to its side of the LAC, the sources said.

India on Thursday said the Chinese military was hindering normal patrolling by its troops and asserted that India has always taken a very responsible approach towards border management.

At a media briefing, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava also strongly refuted China's contention that the tension was triggered due to trespassing by Indian forces on the Chinese side.

India's response came two days after China accused the Indian Army of trespassing into its territory, claiming that it was an "attempt to unilaterally change the status" of the LAC in Sikkim and Ladakh.

On May 5, around 250 Indian and Chinese army personnel clashed with iron rods, sticks, and even resorted to stone-pelting in the Pangong Tso lake area in which soldiers on both sides sustained injuries.

In a separate incident, nearly 150 Indian and Chinese military personnel were engaged in a face-off near Naku La Pass in the Sikkim sector on May 9. At least 10 soldiers from both sides sustained injuries.

The troops of India and China were engaged in a 73-day stand-off in Doklam tri-junction in 2017 which even triggered fears of a war between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.

The India-China border dispute covers the 3,488-km-long LAC. China claims Arunachal Pradesh as part of southern Tibet while India contests it.

Both sides have been asserting that pending the final resolution of the boundary issue, it is necessary to maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas.

China has been critical of India's reorganisation of Jammu and Kashmir, and has particularly criticised New Delhi for making Ladakh a union territory. China lays claim over several parts of Ladakh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held their first informal summit in April 2018 in the Chinese city of Wuhan, months after the Doklam standoff.

In the summit, the two leaders decided to issue "strategic guidance" to their militaries to strengthen communications so that they can build trust and understanding.

Modi and Xi held their second informal summit in Mamallapuram near Chennai in October last year with a focus on further broadening bilateral ties.

Well, I was excited to read that mass is going to be resumed again in WA but that quickly turned to disappointment as I read the bishops letter from the Washington State Catholic Conference. WA I predict will be one of the last states to break free from all this.

Also, what is with the Parish Leaders thing? Why not just say Priest? I also wonder under who's authority communion only in the hand is being dictated to the faithful? The health dept? Governor? WSCC? What a mess.

    May 27, 2020

Dear Catholic Faithful of Washington State,

Today the governor announced directives for resuming public worship. Like the governor,we bishops remain focused on public health and working on behalf of the common good. We bishops across Washington state look forward to safely resuming public celebration of the Eucharist according to the strict protocols as outlined by each of our dioceses and the archdiocese. We are committed to the health and safety of parishioners and the greater community. Parish leaders have received our reopening guidelines as promulgated by each local diocesan bishop. Once parish leaders have informed their local bishop that the required safety measures are in place, they may resume celebration of the Eucharist according to the new protocols. Worship may begin as early as this weekend.Reopening will not mean an immediate return to all of our practices prior to the suspension of public Masses. Your patience, understanding, and cooperation are appreciated. Kindly refer to the new protocols for Mass that will soon be posted on your diocesan webpage. Under the new protocols for Mass:

Anyone experiencing a fever or symptoms must remain at home and not attend Mass.
Parishioners may receive Communion only in the hand.
Practice strict social distancing of 6 feet apart from members of different households.
    Parishioners must wear masks.
Mass will be of shorter duration.

Safety measures are employed, not out of fear, but out of love for neighbor and concern for the vulnerable. As the impact of the novel corona virus can be unpredictable, we will work with public health authorities to ensure that the highest standards of safety are implemented. The dispensation to attend Sunday Mass is still in effect. Thus, while it is possible for the faithful to begin to return to Mass, it is not an obligation. Live streaming of Masses will continue, and to maintain social distancing the numbers of parishioners permitted to attend a single Mass will be limited. While we are separated physically, we are still part of one church community. As we reopen our churches for Mass, we know that these measures are temporary and will be updated over time. We are implementing safety measures to protect the health of our community and care for the vulnerable. We trust in the Lord, and we look forward to the day when we may all attend Mass together.

A couple of us were in a dilemma at my church. They have been opened with strict guidelines etc. but we were not confident about actually going inside because we are over 70 with serious health issues. But we really miss the Eucharist. So I wrote to our Priest and asked if we could go to the side door after Mass, stand outside away from everyone and receive communion. Father said yes! So we can celebrate Mass online at home, then go receive communion. This is our answer until we can feel safer.

It truly is a mess. We have a lady “Director of Liturgy”:rolleyes: as well as our pastor. (Church leaders?)
She told me that Father would give me Communion on the tongue after Mass. Maybe you could ask your pastor.

I’m glad that you have found an agreeable solution! Our parish has started to have Mass on Saturday evening exclusively for those over 65 years. This is a tough time for priests and parishioners alike. I’m glad that so many are willing to make accommodations.

Also, our bishop has said only communion in the hand for our diocese, but our parish priest has said that it’s against Canon Law to deny communion on the tongue and he will give it to those who want it.

How appropriate on Pentecost Sunday . . .It just really hit me. And this site . . .had to share. Ever get slapped in the face with a sign????? made my day.

Well another sign . . .this one makes me very uneasy. Yesterday I was watching the Space X take off from Florida. It was all so interesting and exciting but when they said the name of the rocket was "Dragon", I felt uneasy about the whole thing. And I heard they had docked at the space station, so wanted some more info on that and this headline came up,
"A mere 19 hours after blasting off from Florida, and with a short break for some Black Sabbath music in between, two Nasa astronauts docked the SpaceX Dragon crew capsule to the International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday in another milestone moment for their historic mission." I don't know, it is not setting right. I have this bad feeling, don't know why. Dragon, from the book of Revelation, Black Sabbath music. St. Patrick's Cathedral being torched at the same time . . .it's unsettling and unnerving to me. I will need to pray more today. Come Holy Spirit!

Back in 2012 I made a plea to God and Our Lady for community with people who felt as deeply about God as I do. I soon ended up at MOG street. It allows me to lead a normal as possible life with my Family, work and neighbours.

I sure have been slapped ion the face with occasional signs. The one that comes to mind first was the day I met my Tour Director's sister outside of my previous church. There was no reason I would have run into her at that entrance. It wasn't the usual door my parents and I would use.

I had been praying for a couple years whether or not I should go to Medjugorje. Then this day I met an older lady who told she lived in that city most of the year and was visiting the area for a month. That struck me first!! The more we chatted, the more certain I was I was supposed to go. Next thing ya know, she told me her brother living in town had been leading pilgrimages there for over 25 years and I should not only go but definitely call him.

Yup, you could have knocked me over with a feather. Not only was I supposed to go, but I was taking people with me!!

We're at 16 people for September spending a week in Italy and the 2nd week in Medjugorje....anyone want to join us?? We need 21 to cover the expenses of our priest.

Really? St Patrick's Cathedral was torched today!?
I am sure the dragon name is a Chinese celebratory reference. For some reason they are very common in festivals and celebrations in that culture.
did the Chinese or Japanese orchestrate the building of the capsule?
From a Christian perspective, yes, very strange. Add music from Black Sabbath, creepy!

Yes, I see the Holy Spirit deeply involved in everything for the past few years. My compelling curiosity 5 years ago brought me to a few unknown sites and scores of new information...discovering the Warning and everything to follow, Afterthewarning.org, MoG as a much needed new group of friends who form a much needed community to share ideas and process the world we now find ourselves navigating.

With willing hearts, we are truly being led!!!

Looks like Russia is to something:

Russian warplanes in Libya could open new phase in Middle East’s biggest proxy war

BEIRUT — The warplanes, a mix of at least 14 MiG-29 fighters and Su-24 fighter-bombers, appear to have taken off from a base in Russia sometime in the middle of May and flown to Hmeimeem, Russia’s airbase on Syria’s Mediterranean coast. There they were repainted, their Russian Federation Air Force markings obscured, before flying more than 1,200 miles and landing in eastern Libya, in territories controlled by Russia’s ally, strongman-in-waiting Khalifa Haftar.

The deployment, which the Pentagon revealed this week and Moscow denied, is the latest in a series of escalations that have seen all types of weapons — Turkish and Emirati drones, Russian anti-aircraft systems, Jordanian-made armored vehicles — enter Libya’s Mad Max-like battlefields, in often-blatant disregard of a nine-year-old arms embargo.

But it has rattled the U.S. and other Western powers that have largely ignored the conflict. They fear a new phase opening in the Middle East’s biggest proxy war, with Russia encroaching on Europe’s southern flank. Many see Moscow applying much of the same playbook it used in Syria, another war-ravaged Middle Eastern country where it has established a regional foothold.

They desecrated St.Patrick's Cathedral by spray painting profane messages on the walls. :(
Yes, very strange that these astronauts would take a break to listen to Black Sabbath music, I was not aware of this until I read Katfalls post. Something about kicking back to listen to heavy metal music on such a dangerous journey doesn't make sense.
