MUST SEE: Family Practice Dr. Jeff Barke Grabs Microphone — Unloads on Disastrous Coronavirus Rules Promoted by Liberal Media Dr. Jeff Barke, a family practice physician based in Newport Beach, California, spoke out recently on the COVID-19 rules during a rally in Riverside, California. The rally was held on May 5, 2020. Dr. Barke represents thousands of physicians like him that are being silenced by Big Tech, YouTube, Facebook, the liberal mainstream media and so-called government experts. Dr. Jeff Barke: What if the experts are wrong. What if quarantining the healthy doesn’t actually save lives. What if wearing a mask in public is not effective. My name is Dr. Jeff Barke and I’m here representing thousands of physicians across the country whose voices are being silenced because we don’t agree with the mainstream media and the experts who are telling us what to do. Never in the history of this great republic have we quarantined the healthy. Never in the history of this great republic did we tell churchgoers that it’s illegal for you to exercise your First Amendment right of freedom of religion yet at the same time it’s essential to keep pot dispensaries open. It’s good to hear practicing physicians push back against the very questionable policies pushed by elitist doctors based on garbage models. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...ous-coronavirus-rules-promoted-liberal-media/
Tanker that is such a good idea. I got an Instant Pot last Christmas, but it looks like you can't use it to can food. What kind of pressure cooker do you use?
Hi Booklady We have a Presto 23 quart aluminum pressure cooker. It sells for about $100 at Walmart. It works really well and is not too big because storage is always a problem. You can do 7 quart jars at a time in it so not too big but not small either. It is a long process preparing everything and then cooking but it is something we like doing. Old fashioned I guess but it does come in handy. We canned last weekend beef, pork and chicken. We have 21 jars of canned meat ready to eat.
Thanks, Tanker. I always like to buy tried and true kitchen utensils. Some of the canning machines on the market look like they are out of Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory, too many dials and tubes, too overwhelming.
Booklady, I hear that they are having a liquidation sale at Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory. Slashed prices.
Heavenly Hosts, your friend heard wrong, the prices are still too high, I hear it costs you an arm and a leg for a simple can opener.
We have the same pressure cooker and processed 40 lbs of chicken last weekend. 20 quarts in all. I really prefer canning to freezing but it is a process and takes time, the product lasts much longer though and is not so volatile to store for long periods. Meats in many cases can be safely stored this way for 3 years before losing any nutritional value too which is a huge plus but they rarely make it a year around our place before they are used up.
It seems to me that it is not the virus we should fear, but fear of the virus. Fear diminishes and makes us smaller, weaker and more easily manipulated. Like rabbits.
Its increasingly harder to believe that this was ever about a virus. https://komonews.com/news/local/sea...reets-to-vehicles-for-stay-healthy-initiative Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan announced Thursday that 20 miles of closed city streets that were shuttered in order to accommodate socially distant outdoor activities will remain closed permanently and more streets could be added. Durkan made the announcement during a press conference although officials did not elaborate on what prompted the decision to close the streets for good. The streets included in the plan include those in Lake City, Aurora Licton Springs, Ballard and Delridge/Highland Park neighborhoods, Lake City, the Central District, West Seattle and High Point, Green Lake, Greenwood, Othello and Rainier Beach. Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan has permanently closed several streets and is urging social distancing through a weekend that will feature warm weather. Although vehicular traffic on the streets aren't permitted, people who live in the neighborhoods and deliveries will still be allowed to use the thoroughfares. Introduced last week, the street closure plan was meant to help people keep stay six feet apart at all times while outside to further slow the spread of COVID-19. And city officials warned residents that they shouldn't see this as an opportunity to have gatherings at parks or in the middle of open streets.
I take my temp each day to give pre warning of coming down with the bug. I hadn't noticed that the little battery was running down and yesterday it gave of a shrieking fever alarm and gave a temp that would have melted my brain if it had been true. I nearly jumped through the ceiling in shock. I saw a man in bed with the virus the other night. He had just been brought in and was crying. I mean crying and sobbing like a child. I don't think it was pain but fear. Fear is such a terrible thing when it makes a grown man cry or a crank like me nearly jump through the ceiling. Thank God for a strong Faith. Faith is the great killer of fear.
Now it's Vigano vs Sarah! Vigano accuses Cardinal Sarah of causing him ‘harm’ in row over coronavirus letter CNA Staff, May 8, 2020 / 10:25 am MT (CNA).- Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has accused a Vatican cardinal of causing him “serious harm” in a bitter war of words over a controversial open letter regarding the coronavirus crisis. In a statement published May 8, the archbishop criticized Cardinal Robert Sarah’s decision to distance himself from the letter, titled “Appeal for the Church and the World,” which argues that the coronavirus pandemic has been exploited in order to create a one-world government. The statement details Vigano’s account of his interactions with Sarah beginning May 4. Viganò claims that on the evening of May 7, the prefect of the Vatican's Congregation for Divine Worship and Sacraments asked him to remove him from the list of signatories to the letter, which had by that time already been published. “With surprise and deep regret,” he wrote, “I then learned that His Eminence had used his Twitter account, without giving me any notice, to make statements that cause serious harm to the truth and to my person.” Viganò was referring to a series of three May 7 tweets from Sarah, which said: “A Cardinal Prefect, member of the Roman Curia has to observe a certain restriction on political matters. He shouldn't sign petitions in such aereas [sic].” “Therefore this morning I explicitely [sic] asked the authors of the petition titled ‘For the Church and for the world’ not to mention my name.” “From a personal point of view, I may share some questions or preoccupations raised regarding restrictions on fundamental freedom but I didn't sign that petition,” Sarah added. Viganò’s statement continued: “I am very sorry that this matter, which is due to human weakness, and for which I bear no resentment towards the person who caused it, has distracted our attention from what must seriously concern us at this dramatic moment.” After Viganò issued his rebuke, Sarah tweeted May 8: “I will not speak to this petition, which today seems to occupy a lot of people. I leave to their conscience those who want to exploit it in one way or another. I decided not to sign this text. I fully accept my choice.” In his statement, Viganò said he had chosen to publicize his private conversations with Sarah because he had a duty to tell the truth, and “also for the sake of fraternal correction.” Vigano said Sarah had initially told him: “Yes, I agree to put my name to it, because this is a fight we must engage in together, not only for the Catholic Church but for all mankind.” He confirmed that Sarah’s signature has now been removed from the open letter. Vigano, a former papal nuncio made headlines in August 2018, for a letter that alleged Vatican officials had ignored warnings about the sexual abuse of disgraced former cardinal Theodore McCarrick. Since that time, Vigano has released numerous letters expressing his viewpoints on matters in the Church, which include criticisms of Pope Francis and other curial officials. The appeal argued that as a result of the pandemic centuries of Christian civilization could be “erased under the pretext of a virus” and an “odious technological tyranny” established in its place. It said: “We have reason to believe, on the basis of official data on the incidence of the epidemic as related to the number of deaths, that there are powers interested in creating panic among the world’s population with the sole aim of permanently imposing unacceptable forms of restriction on freedoms, of controlling people and of tracking their movements. The imposition of these illiberal measures is a disturbing prelude to the realization of a World Government beyond all control.” Several bishops and cardinals are alleged to have signed the letter. Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas told CNA May 7 that he had signed it. A press release on the appeal’s website May 8 claimed that Robert Kennedy Jr, son of the slain US. Presidential candidate Sen. Robert Kennedy, had signed the letter. To date, nearly 4 million people have tested positive for the coronavirus, and at least 272,000 have died. https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/...him-harm-in-row-over-coronavirus-letter-84980
COVID INSANITY CONTINUES: US Has Seen No Increase in Overall Deaths in 2020 – Yet Americans Continue to Cede All God Given Rights to the State Americans are faced with the following choice – continue to follow the government mandated lock down while watching their life savings erode (based on faulty projections and models regarding the China coronavirus) – or get back to work. In the movie the Matrix, the lead character, Neo, is faced with the stark reality – that we are all slaves. But Neo is given an opportunity. He is given a choice between taking a red pill or the blue pill. The red pill will allow Neo to the ability After this there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, your story ends. You wake up in bed and believe whatever you want to. You take the red pill and you stay in wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember, all I’m offering is the truth.” At the site Unconstrained Analytics, the Matrix is explained and today’s reaction to the China coronavirus as well: Real science neither requires nor asks for assent. In contrast, pseudo-sciences, demand obedience to the narratives they propagate — even when these narratives conflict with hard science. It’s time for America to wake up and look at the real numbers behind the China coronavirus. If we are truly experiencing a “historic” pandemic with unprecedented deaths then this should be obvious in the data. We should see our total deaths for the first four months of 2020 greatly exceed the previous years’ numbers where there was no pandemic, but this is not the case. The CDC website indicates U.S. death totals for 2015 through 2020 for the first four months of the year average (Jan – Apr) to be at 921,603. This year the total deaths during this period were 944,251 which is slightly more than average but slightly less than the number of deaths in 2017: We know that 99% of all COVID deaths are related to individuals with more than one other comorbidity (i.e. the individuals had cancer or some other medical condition). We also know that the majority of COVID deaths are those people over age 70. Children are virtually free from any risk of death from the China coronavirus. Healthy individuals under the age of 65 are also at very low risk. When looking at the data it is difficult to understand why the US (and the world for that matter) would close down their economies for this virus. The economies stayed open in 2017 and the number of deaths were greater. Americans need to take the red pill. It’s time to wake up and see that we were lied to and continue to be lied to. The current response to the coronavirus is madness. Liberty is at stake. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...ericans-continue-cede-god-given-rights-state/
I am grieved that such rebukes had to go viral! But then, if my wonderful wife wished to reveal my numerous shortcomings I would fare no better! Safe on the Father's Lap!
