It was 10 degrees the day I spotted them. All I could think of was "fire your travel agent!" We still have a lot of snow cover and ice too but hearing songbirds and seeing robins...this early...well it cheers the soul.

We have had a mild enough winter but lots and lots of rain. It's pouring rain all night tonight and there are flood warnings all along the river Shannon. I don't live near the Shannon now but my childhood home was right on the banks. Glad I'm not there now but I do have family members there
Its snowing outside and my Boss, bless him just told me I could go home half an hour early after doing a night shift. There have been some serious storms the last two weeks with heavy flooding in England and Wales. Another storm due tomorrow. Poor People. But the nights are getting brighter. I planted loads of primroses and what not a few days ago. I passed a poor woman crying in pain this morning in bed in a Ward and prayed for her. Working in a hospital makes you think..and pray.

Do you know, it was said in some prophesy or other that the third world war would start in a very unlikely place. Anyone wondering if the bets are on for that unlikely place being the VATICAN. Can you imagine all those holy old men getting into hand to hand combat. I think it would be more civilised than what we are watching. It looks like the hierarchy are using their authority to silence any Cardinal, Bishop or Priest who dares question the validity of whatever comes out of the Vatican. I would rather they had a good punch up, may the best man win. And we could at least find out who the real MEN are. Punishing subordinates is a pink and fluffy way to shut them up by silencing them. Saint Pius Tenth, would give them a good slap if God allowed him to come down and sort the mess out. I hope to God they don't silence Bishop Gracida for daring to speak his mind.
