If I wanted to design a specific bio weapon that enabled me to defeat a Foreign Army what would be at the top of my shopping list? Well since it is an army and if I wanted the civilian population intact for a take over I would want a virus that only of mostly killed the men folk. A virus that mostly kills men and not women; whoever heard of such a thing before? It is like something out of Science Fiction. Totally weird. It does seem to be something specifically designed for war. Did you know that the CIA at Langley has a Department that specifically studies books like spy books and science fiction for ideas that can be implemented in the Real World? I would imagine most big Intelligence Agencies across the Globe would have such Departments by now. The idea of a world were all the men are dead and only women survive has been a big theme in Science Fiction for quite a while now....

I am a very cautious person, so I would be worried about flying right now as well. My husband, on the other hand wouldn't care, he would take his chances on the plane. It is very concerning because so many people have winter/ spring break travel plans, and this virus is not going away anytime soon. We were a wreck all week about this darn virus. Exchange students from China were due to arrive at my grandson's middle school next week! My daughter was in a worried panic, but thankfully the school finally decided to cancel the exchange program at the last minute. I'm trying not to overreact, but it's definitely getting scary. Thankyou Jo. I pray I am wrong about this virus but I have an unease in my soul. It has lethal potential. I am so glad the school canceled the exchange program. Thank God. Preventive measures are all we have right now. I'm glad DJT is stepping that up several notches. I dont wantcto overreact but my concern first and foremost is being prepared at all times to go to the Lord. In s way a scare like this is a huge grace. I actually spoke to my husband about the necessity of getting right with God. So hard to do but I did it. I dont know how it went. He is operating on the material level for the most part. Everything is political for him. But I am entrusting him to St. Joseph.

I think we all have family who are "living the dream" without deep faith. Pope Benedict was spot on in his 1969 prophecy about these times. Not only about the faithful becoming small in numbers, but his point that making fun of doctrines and living in the world of relativism. There is no stopping the progressive evil in our world today, until God's purification is at end and the era of peace comes. We are only in the beginning stages of the purification, but we have a loving God who has plans revealed and many not revealed forthcoming. I think for those like your husband and many of my family members who know the truth, but as stuck in muck of this world, they will wake up before the warning, at some point when the ugliness of this world is manifested more in peoples lives, I believe ears/minds will be open to what the answer is. God's truth. Satan has a grip on most baptized at this time via pleasures of this life that appeal to the things of this world, the flesh and indifference towards God. Relativism rules the day. But many signs, and the corona virus is just one of them, are coming and our loved ones are going to ask.... what is going on, at some time prior to the warning. Some will listen before the warning, more afterwards. But in the end, through the worst of the purification, prophecy tells us few will enter the era of peace.
Based on these reports, I now am fairly well convinced this is an escaped viral bioweapon. The Chinese may have inserted HIV genes into the virus at the bioweapon lab in Wuhan (or it could have arisen spontaneously during viral replication in the lab) so the virus could infect host cells (tissues) other than just respiratory and mucous membrane cells. And they realize what they’ve accidentally released on their own citizens, which explains their current actions within China. That’s why IMO it is shedding viruses in victims PRIOR to symptoms emerging (because it’s already replicating in more than just primarily respiratory and mucous membrane tissue), and why pneumonia and cold/flu symptoms are not the only presenting symptoms, but that neurological and kidney symptoms are often presenting first. Same here. The Chinese exchange students were actually at my son's middle school for a day and then they were recalled to China. I am getting mixed messages on whether they had been quarantined to check for illness before they were allowed to be at the middle school or not....Bio teacher told my son's class yes but the school receptionist said No. At first I was upset, but you know, what is done is done. The receptionist said the students were from a province 1000 miles from Wuhan and they are back in China as of several days ago. I also told a son in college to be careful and he said there is a lot of talk on campus about coronavirus. God bless us all. Amen.

Definite bioengineering in Wuhan coronavirus: This researcher is credible. He obviously knows and understands viral genetics. This is a very dry presentation and the discussion of viral genetics is pretty deep, but if you can persevere through it till the last ten minutes or so, the implications of the (definite) bioengineering involved is horrifying. Because of the HIV genetics inserted in the virus, this virus targets immune cells, lowering white blood cell counts and therefore natural immunity, and increasing both the latency of the symptoms and therefore the period of viral shedding, i.e., the period a patient is infectious, including prior to any symptoms being displayed.
I watched a documentary about smallpox and the mortality it caused and it came to my mind about the danger that a laboratory accident with this virus would represent as the USA and Russia still have samples of it. Imagine if a country like communist China had some sample of this virus
Brian, this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He seems to be exhibiting low grade schizophrenia and I wouldn’t be surprised if his credentials are fake. It looks like he talked for forty minutes about Harvard’s crest for crying out loud. From what I’ve seen the homology that that Indian paper was talking about is found across Corona viruses, and even if it binds leukocytes it’d need a whole bunch of other proteins to replicate there.
From a microbiology Phd friend regarding HIV insertions: Each new virus is typically a slight modification of an identified virus from the same family. In fact a family tree of a particular virus can be built. The changes in this corona virus match the HIV virus in sequence, HOWEVER, these changes are relatively small with a short genetic sequence. The shorter the sequence the more likely it is to be found in the genome of something else somewhere. Therefore, it's very hard to say whether it happened randomnly by natural means or was bioengineered.
