Pachamama is a pagan idol and everything you find about them proves this. They don't belong in a Catholic church. It's offensive to God and to practicing Catholics. Is stealing them from the church right or wrong? Not 100% sure but the event has proven to create a necessary "dialog" about embracing such things. Why does it feel like the church is acting like it has more to learn from Amazon tribe people than they should be learning from us especially about Jesus Christ? If artistic tribe people converted fully and presented an image of The Virgin Mary in her purity and modesty maybe that could be venerated in church.
I wish I'd done it. It isn't stealing , read the Book of Maccabees. If it was stealing half the Missionary saints in the Church were thieves. Destroying idols was part of their job description. 'Stealing', was this the very best they could come up with?

We should probably be proactive, and start a global fundraising effort to protect these men from the legal harassment the Vatican will pursue regarding their lost idol.
God's law takes precedent over man's. A demonic idol in a Church is an absolute abomination. It was absolutely the right thing to remove these wretched objects.

Incredible. Unbelievable. This means these priests are siding with a demonic, pagan cult against faithful Catholics. They can't not know this. They are not that stupid.
