The title of the thread should not be taken lightly, I come here today on the feast of the Divine Mercy to ask the help of our very strong community of prayer warriors,I earnestly request before any member thinks of taking on the task I am putting forward to seriously consider what I ask as I have myself have tried and fought this evil principality and can earnestly say have failed to defeat it.. I have battled for several years now with this evil which has constantly battered my family and in fact I have identified that this evil may well have been pursuing my entire family tree for quite some time, It may seem a bit far fetched for some members but to those who know me and understand what I am talking about I beg your assistance and help, this evil has left me battered and broken and I feel I cant battle any longer.. the evil I talk about is the principality of lies it reeks havoc and destroys everything, it breaks trust and confuses every day life.. I have struggled to beat this evil and remove it from me but as I said it is wining.. I cant go into too much detail as it would take years but the long and short is this evil has taken firm root in my daughter and it has became impossible to separate truth from lies it is destroying everyday family life to the point that my wife and I have given up trying.. believe me brothers and sisters this evil is not easy to defeat so please be aware if you want to help it will take a lot of effort and be aware this evil will strike back when confronted.. thank you if you can help a brother on his knees.. please pray that this evil will be defeated from my family and family tree.. Years ago, when working for a Catholic publishing company, the phone rang and the caller was the Anglican chaplain at Stafford prison in the UK. What followed was one of the most interesting conversations I have ever had. It was my experience that Anglican clergy (or at least those of them contacting a Catholic publisher) were much more open to the supernatural than the Catholic priests, who usually contacted us to obtain the writings of 'progressive' theologians rather than anything related to the supernatural). Anyway, this chaplain asked me if I could provide a copy of 'Healing the Family Tree' by a psychiatrist/Presbyterian minister called Kenneth McCall. I said that we could supply it and I told him that I had read the book and had been deeply impressed and asked why this particular book was of interest to him. He said that he dealt with some prisoners who had committed extremely violent crimes and yet most of them were friendly, kind beings who were mystified by their own actions. He said that a constant comment was, 'something got into me, I am not a cruel or violent person'. The 'something got into me' theme got him thinking about the possibility that they were right and that they had been temporarily possessed. Many reported that, in any otherwise respectable family, other near ancestors had done similar things and he had heard from other chaplains about the book by Dr. McCall and wondered if this could explain the uncharacteristic crimes of some of his 'clients'. He told me other things that I won't go into here but which were relevant to this theory about specific prisoners. Get this book, which recommends, that if oppression by deceased family members is known or suspected, that a Mass be said for deceased family members, indeed the whole bloodline, and that this resolves many such problems though several Masses, specifically for this petition, may be necessary to break the oppressive bond.

Yes family tree healing is powerful. I had Mass said in my home for family tree healing some years ago. The priest prayed an apology prayer for all ancestral sins which I believe he got from Kenneth McCalls book. I will pray for your family. Pray the Surrender novena. It gives me great peace. My mother fought a battle for my brother for many years. She never saw his conversion but it came after her death. God will not be defeated if we continue to trust and pray. God love you .It's hard work rearing our family in a very evil world at times
My heart goes out to you John. It's frightening to see so many good families struggle with one trial after another. You daughter will be the intention at my next Mass which should be tomorrow. Also Fr Ripperger has an inexpensive booklet containing prayers for the family and generational healing that the laity can use. Have Masses said. The comments before mine are very valuable.
As Heavenly Hosts mentioned, Fr. Ripperger has a book called Deliverance Prayers for the laity that contains several prayers for the laity to say for healing the family tree. Another good thing that I do is to be part of the Auxilium Christianorum (Help of Christians) there are prayers to say everyday and a different short prayer for each day of the week. We plead the precious blood of Jesus litany upon us everyday and we pray a prayer specifically so the demons are blinded to our works and prayers and therefore can not give retribution. In one of Father Ripperger's videos on spiritual warfare, which can be found at Sensus Fidelium on youtube, he says that almost every family is plagued by an evil spirit. He says that often a father, in particular, will confess a specific sin to a priest and then a child of that father wil confessmthe same sin. Sorry dads, that's' a heavy responsibility! Also, an evil spirit will often masquerade as something alther than it's true identity. For example, a spirit of what seemsto be 'lying' might actually be a spirit of 'fear' or something else. Father Ripperger says to get rid of a spirit it must first be accurately identified. He recommends much prayer in order to make the proper identification. I can only recommend his videos on spiritual warfare. He does an excellent job of making these matters, which we all deal with, more understandable. God bless your family Quis ut Deus.
John, I am praying for you and your family to finally defeat this evil. May Our Blessed Mother and Saint Michael continue to be at your side through this battle and give you signs that your battle will be successful very soon.
It's not far fetched at all. It is very real and as others have said there are some things we can do about it on your behalf and others specifically that you and your wife can do that we can not because you have ultimate authority in both your home and as head of your family. I would also recommend Father Ripperger's book of Deliverance Prayers, I have it and have used the prayers in it for the same purpose. I would make a habit of liberal use of the sacraments in your home as well as blessings and binding prayers over the members of your family. Your fatherly blessing is very powerful. You are not alone in your suffering or prayers. My prayers are with you John. Don't give up.
w JOHN, I will join your intentions to my own for my loved ones. We may never live to see our prayers answered...and yes, we may live our entire life with the suffering that these bring to our daily lives....but, getting to heaven and getting our loved ones to heaven is the main goal. Regardless of the evil that plagues our families, if our united prayers obtains heaven for everyone, then all we can do is trust God that the ultimate pray is answered. If He allows these sufferings, we must trust He has a reason. Some are even blessed to see these crosses lifted before we pass into eternity. I sincerely pray that all of us live to see the hand of God work in the lives of those we dearly love. Nothing is impossible with God! Nothing!
Thank you all dear friends I have known this enemy for some time and have traced it back through my family tree in fact my great great uncle was known as a great Irish story teller people would come to his house just to listen to him I know that sounds innocent but the plague of story telling is a disease it can start as funny and humorous but then it takes hold of a person it destroys trust and confidence At first I thought that my family tree just mimicked other members by telling little white lies but I have witnessed this evil start in a child very young and grow to a point it can control their lives it is a very very evil scrouge and has the ability to wreck family's I also studied this disease as I was convinced it was a mental illness I was sure it was called pathological lying but in a recent dream it was confirmed as an evil scourge Time to up the battle and be strong I will not let it beat my family and will strive to cast it to the fires of hell were it belongs
Just as the angel guardian God gave us is at the same level as ourselves so I believe the demon who opposes us is at the same level as us. So St Paul comforts us with the promise: 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ASV) And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for [my] power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. The demons are basically slaves of Jesus, who has put all things under His feet. They are like dogs on a very tight leash. They can only do what God permits them and all that they are permitted to do are for the good of those who love God, for, as we are told in Romans, 'All things work together for the good of those who love God'. So cheer up , John, even the demons are made by God to serve us. They might mean to harm us, but all that they can do is to make us more holy. They know this themselves, but God forces them to do so.
You got this JOHN...you have faith and heaven has your back. But you’ll have to do the heavy lifting here. I know, I do it everyday...all day...for my loved ones. Most likely, I’ll do it until I die unless God chooses to lift this heavy cross off of my shoulder..... It might just be the reparation that is needed. Only God knows...He’ll show us in eternity why he allowed it. But it sure keeps me humbly on my old knees. Perhaps that’s His purpose...I reluctantly accept.
