Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his family be blessed, protected and comforted.

  5. I have only just started up my new practice and my Fridays are for admin work. I have been able to reshedule all my Thursday patients on Friday. I think Luke helped here. I will drive part of the 5 hours on Wed night after work and the rest in the morning. I will remember all members here at Luke’s funeral.

Rest in Peace, Luke. I'm in awe at what a holy death our friend Mac has had, would that it be so for all of us here when our time comes. He will be missed here on the forum but nothing like what the loss will be for his family, may God and Our Lady console them. I was just reading about Little Nelly of Holy God, she also died on Candlemas.

Also, thank you, Joe, for keeping us in the loop over these past few days and for sharing your exchanges with Luke and his family. My condolences for the loss of your good friend.

I don’t think I could express myself much better than all of you on this thread. So very sad, and yet joyful as well. We have lost a friend, but gained an intercessor!

    R.I.P. Luke! Thank you, Joe!

Also, let us all make an effort to keep Luke’s wife and family in our prayers- these will be some difficult days and weeks for them.

  11. I see they do have a live stream of TLM. I am flat out juggling my practise. Perhaps you could contact them on the net. I am not IT savvy.

  13. I was told last night that my younger cousin Bernie has died suddenly in Scotland and that her body was found some days later. The autopsy was inconclusive. Please pray for her too. She was youngest of seven daughters. Uncle Chariie and Aunt Eileen eventually had a son but he died in childbirth one Christmas. They called him Noel. As you know Luke had 8 girls and a wee boy, Peter Joseph, who is alive and well.

Prayers for Luke, for his wife, and kids, especially. It is never easy to loose a dad.
