I’ve fallen into mortal sin again, and I’m trying do the things in response to this, not beating myself up, but at the same time have true compunction and contrition for it, and avoiding situations that may my make things more difficult. I’m already in the process of making a decision today that I think will avoid a difficult situation. Please pray that I make the right decisions and do the right things.
RW, I am praying for you. I hope that you don't mind that I offer some ideas to you which I hope will help you. I am certain that you pray but I forget exactly what you have stated about your prayer life on MOG. I wonder if it might help to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary each day and truly meditate on the Passion of Our Lord. If you are already praying the Rosary every day, maybe praying at least part of it on your knees could help you. I will never forget watching people at the first station of the cross at Lourdes, France kneel and say a prayer on every step leading up to this station. Looking back I wish that I had done this also. In addition, if you are not wearing a brown scapular all of the time I suggest that you do so. My parents don't want me to go to confession on Thursday, if I assent to that, I'll have to wait until Saturday to go to confession at the Cathedral. What do I do?
Hi RosaryWielder, I am praying for you (pray for me too). We live in a time of great temptations and I implore you to never give up the fight. Get to confession, stay close to the Lord and Holy Mother and offer up your struggle for the poor souls who will, in return, offer prayers in return. You are destined for great things and the Lord loves you. Fight the good fight and with every confession repent and start anew.
