Saint Mac, It might be time for the Jesus prayer. As I was praying for you during the consubstantiation. I thought about the roller coaster you must be on. All the thoughts running through your head...some good, some bad and some just worry. I will share my special prayer... that helps me to refocus. Its a stress reliever and clears the brain. Sit in a chair. Posture straight with hands on lap...look forward with eyes closed. Start with top of head and relax and gradually move down eyes, nose, mouth, face, shoulders all the way down to your toes. Its like water being drained. That will help you relax. Then breath in Je and breath out sus. Quietly and slowly breath in and out Jesus. Focus your eyes forward...colors will appear. Relax... where every breath becomes Jesus. Even if you only do it for a short while (5,10,15 minutes)...it is a way to relieve stress and refocus. God Bless!
This is important, Luke! Not for all but for you and many of God's chosen and even some of those here at the MoG site! Because the closer one become to loving God perfectly, the more armour one needs! Why is this so? The reason being is that the evil one is also aware of our pilgramage with and to God! and how close we are to God! This attribute/intellegance of satan is what motivates him to use a greater degree of pain and suffering on us; which otherwise he would not use until he had secured the soul in hell! Therefore, God has given us the sacrementals that we must use to counteract these attacks! Do not be afraid! God is in control. You are protected by the hand of God Himself ! through Our most Holy Mothers intervention and also with the sacremantals that He has ordained that you wear.
