Luke I hope you get a moment to read this I was privileged to read this poem to a good friend once it gave them great consolidation its from the St Michael book

The Angel took the little child,
And bore him past the shining ranks
Of singers and of harpers, past
The golden streets and lilied banks,
    Unto a quiet restful place,
Where Mary sat, with wistful eyes
And tender smile and outstretched hands,
    To welcome him to Paradise!

"He was so small and mother-lost.
    So dazzled, and so half-afraid,
He could not bear the bliss of Heaven,
Or view the hosts in white arrayed,
    Until the clasping, loving arms,
And gentle voice dispelled his fears,
And dimmed the memory of pain,
And dried the last faint trace of tears.
"He nestled close against the heart,
The mother-heart where Christ once lay,
And felt the blessedness of peace
    Balm all his hurts and griefs away;
And Mary sang until he smiled,
And rocked him till, with life elate,
He faced the wonders and the joys
And splendors of his high estate!

While of course I am and will continue to pray for Mac and his family, I find myself unable to express the sadness I feel right now. I join the others in asking our Lord and Lady to heal our friend, and to give him the best outcome possible. I also pray for his wife and children, may Mother Mary keep them under her mantle during this tragic time, and give them the graces and strength to endure the unendurable.

    May God Bless Mac

    Saint Mac,
I am in tears...we might not know each other, in the normal world. But this is our spiritual community. Our Order, where we joke, fight, play and talk some nonsense. But we all seem to be on the same road... but on different paths. We all have a spirituality greater then most. And we all Love God, Our Church and above all...our little group of misfits. This is probably the only place we can be real and not be outcasts.

Our main mission has always been prayers when asked. Gods prayer warriors. We all are sending up our prayers. God must say...here it comes, it’s those MOG guys again.

Be strong...God is with us. Live the moment.

    Your Brother in Christ,
    Fallen Saint

Even though I'm just a lurker around these parts the last few years, your wit and determination to make your point has always seen me shouting for you. Allow me to shout for you and storm Heaven with my prayers. Praying for a miracle mac. God bless you and your family x

Mac, I hope you know that you have left an impact here. Even in the short time I have gotten to know you I always looked forward to your posts and your encouragement as my family joined the Church and we went through RCIA and were Confirmed.
My family is praying for you and your family Mac. At Mass and Benediction as well as each night when we pray the rosary together we pray for your miraculous healing and for Our Lady's presence for each of you.
We will pitch in when we can and we will also pray for this intention as well.
    God Bless you. -Don

Luke, I'm continuing to pray for you and your family that you may receive a miracle from God. God, of course, will choose the form of that miracle as he always does but I do believe that you will receive a miracle one way or another.

May God continue to bless you and your family always and may He help provide the strength that you all need to take you through life's trials.

Mac's strong faith and strong stance for traditional Catholic truths is beyond question and he will be rewarded greatly for it. But for the sake of his wife and 9 children we ask the Lord to heal him and give him more time here for their sake. If it's God's Will that he be taken home, Mary take Luke's hand and guide him to you Son in Heaven and also pour abundant graces on his wife and children who will remain here without him.

For all those that have a devotion to St. Louis Mary Grignion de Montfort and follow his teachings on 'true devotion to Mary'

    His words below!

“The Blessed Virgin, mother of gentleness and mercy,
never allows herself to be surpassed in love and generosity!
When she sees someone giving himself entirely to her
in order to honor and serve her, and depriving himself of what he prizes most
    in order to adorn her
The Blessed Virgin gives herself completely in a wondrous manner to him!

She engulfs him in the ocean of her graces!,
    adorns him with her merits!,
    supports him with her power!,
    enlightens him with her light!,
and fills him with her love!
She shares her virtues with him! — her humility!, faith!, purity!, etc!
She makes up for his failings and becomes his representative with Jesus!
Just as one who is consecrated belongs entirely to Mary!
so Mary belongs entirely to him!"

    Yes HeavenlyHosts, it certainly is!
    God Bless You and yours.

Mac's diagnosis seems so surreal to you and to me! imagine the pain and bewilderment for Mac and his wife and children!

Aren't we lucky to know such a saint as Mac!
Mac would totally disagree with this above statement.
    God Bless us all, Amen

Still praying, Mac, for you and your lovely family. This is a time of abundant graces for all of you, and Our Lady will channel those graces to where they are most needed.

Thank you all again for all the prayers and good wishes.
    I do need the prayers,
Its easy to appear online as not a great sinner, but unfortunately I have been.
I'm not going to go into details:).

How beautiful to see a priest preaching like that from the bottom of his heart. He must have suffered a lot in his own life to be able to share like that.

Prayers again for you Mac, though I sense you're getting such great graces and so many prayers you need little enough from the likes of me.:):)

    Still praying for a miracle.
