Card Ouelett defends pope against archbishop Vigano. https://cruxnow.com/vatican/2018/10...-papal-accuser-guilty-of-political-frame-job/ In his attack against Vigano however, Ouelett admits there were restrictions imposed on mccarick although not signed by Pope Benedict. Such lame defence shows clearly the truth...those in the vatican, not only Francis, knew perfectly who mccarrick was. And let me guess, he might be not the only one. So ...the pope couldn't read the amount of all allegations like that, according to ouelett.... Good said! Francis should fulfill by now his promise to retire half of all Vatican staff. Starting with those in the know. He didn't. Francis must resign before making the growing schism a reality, even for the sake of his own reform he promised at the beginning. Let remember he is almost 82 with one lung. He could resign on this basis alone. Benedict resigned for less illnesses citing exactly his poor health as official reason. What could the next Pope do? Do those crazy red hats realize they make impossible the election of a new pope without division in the church? Francis could make One good thing more before resigning. Let allow all bishops or all archbishops take part in the next conclave. Paul VI hall is large enough. Thus avoiding the absurd bargaining that made it possible he himself to be elected. St Pius X cancelled the veto power of the Austrian emperor, although he was elected thanks to that veto.
Over 40 nations unite spiritually on Sunday to pray the rosary for Our Lady’s help in fighting evil PINE BLUFF, Wisconsin, October 4, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) — Catholics in more than 40 countries across the world will unite this Sunday to fight the forces of evil prowling the earth and the Church by praying the rosary. An effort that began as a U.S. response to Poland’s flourishing Rosary at the Borderslast fall has gone global with rosary rallies planned worldwide in what organizers are calling a “clarion call of the Immaculata.” The term Immaculata derives from the word immaculate, which in Catholic theology means free from sin, also denoting the Virgin Mary and the Immaculate Conception. “This is a worldwide effort to combat the powers of darkness,” the Rosary Coast to Coast website states. Citing the myriad social ills that have befallen the culture in the U.S. and the world – including sexual hedonism, abortion, divorce, pornography and drug use – the rosary effort recalls Our Lady’s appearances throughout history, where she predicted the societal decay and called for Catholics to pray in reparation. Casualties often go unseen in this war with no borders, the initiative’s information also says, but very few are left unwounded. “The enemies encamped against us seek to rob us of our dignity – the essential dignity of the human person, being made in the image and likeness of God,” it states. “What was once done in darkness is now celebrated in the light,” the rosary organizers continue. “Yet, where before we may have been blinded, God’s unfathomable mercy is opening the hearts, the minds and the eyes of people of Faith. Our Lady’s Clarion Call – the call once trumpeted at Quito, LaSalette, Fatima, Tre Fontane and Akita — is upon us.” Earlier this year, Catholics in the United States were invited to pray the 54-day Novena for Our Nation from the Feast of the Assumption on August 15 through the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7, concluding with the Rosary Coast to Coast. It was the second such effort involving the novena culminating with the rosary rally on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Several U.S. cardinals and bishops have endorsed the Rosary Coast the Coast. Hundreds of U.S. sites have registered participation in the rosary rally. The initiative operates under the Mantle of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and its patrons are St. Michael the Archangel, St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Padre Pio. Catholics across the world have initiated several rosary rallies after Poland’s successful rosary crusade last October 7, with more than a million Polish Catholicsencircling their country with prayer. In Ireland, the Rosary on the Coasts for Life and Faith last November had some 30,000 Irish participants. Last December 12, the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Catholics in roughly 30 U.S. states held the “Rosary on the Coasts and Borders,” and in April the UK’s ‘Rosary on the Coast’ also drew an estimated 30,000 Catholics. “We, in the United States, share the conviction, now seen and acted upon in the international community, to enter fully into the spiritual warfare we are facing and to pray for our respective nations at this watershed moment in history,” the Rosary Coast to Coast site states. Since July, Catholics in more than 40 nations, including churches in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia, have united with the U.S. Rosary Coast to Coast initiative to pray the rosary for their respective countries. The effort was done under the banner of the New Holy League of Nations. Pope St. Pius V founded the original Holy League in response to the grim state of Christian Europe in 1571. It consisted of small groups of Catholic men and armies from various Catholic European nations. Under the spiritual leadership of Pius V and the military leadership of Don John of Austria, through praying the rosary and fasting the Holy League implored the Lord’s grace and assistance through the intercession of the Blessed Mother. By God’s grace, on October 7, 1571, at the Battle of Lepanto, the Christian fleet won a huge victory, saving both Christendom and western civilization. The Battle of Lepanto and the Holy League endure hundreds of years later as effective reminders of the power of praying the rosary and Catholics uniting in prayer for Our Lady’s intercession. The New Holy League of Nations is sponsoring the 54-day novena and Rosary Coast to Coast, it said, because the Church finds itself in a similar situation to that of the Church in the late 16th century. “However, instead of a physical enemy on the horizon,” it states, “the Church and the family (the domestic Church) are threatened daily by relativism, secularism, impurity, and confusion regarding Church teaching.” International organizers of Sunday’s rosary rally encourage participants to live-stream their respective rosary gatherings through Facebook Live, or through the Periscope App, with the hashtag #RosaryCoastToCoast and #HolyLeagueOfNations. Photos and video may be similarly tagged on all social media sites as well. U.S. rosaries are encouraged to take place simultaneously this Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 4 p.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Central, 2 p.m. Mountain and 1 p.m. Pacific. The National Rosary Rally will take place in front of the U.S. Capitol on Sunday. It begins with Mass at St. Peter’s on Capitol Hill, followed by a rosary procession to the rally site. The National Rosary Rally will be live-streamed. Organizers note that Pope Francis recently exhorted the faithful to pray the rosary throughout October, along with the St. Michael the Archangel prayer, “to protect the Church from the devil.” “Answering this papal exhortation,” they say, “coordinators in Italy have announced that a Rosary Rally will be held, in St Peter’s Square, October 7. Organizers are asking those who wish to join to meet at the obelisk in the middle of the square at 3 p.m. to unite in prayer with the world.”
It looks like the official line will be "you won't find anything signed by the Pope". That's the excuse Pope Francis used in the cases of laicised clergy he had restored to the priesthood - that he didn't sign anything. As if some minion in the Vatican would dare request Pope Francis to put his orders in writing. Cardinal Ouellet should be ashamed of himself for using political double speak to fudge the fact that a notorious sexual predator was taken out of mothballs and sent to China on official Church business. What a sham.
Ouelett writes he told Vigano personally about the restrictions of Mccarick. Ok Ouelett just confessed he knew. As such, he must resign or be retired by pope Francis from his high position Asap. Retirement is Not excommunication, is not confiscation of residence, is not million dollar fine...it's the Least those hats could do! Shame! Let say the pope wasn't aware personally of Mccarrck, something I cannot believe given what we know already.... Someone must pay. And this someone is Not the Messenger Vigano! If five Cardinals in the Curia knew, and didn't act enough to explain to pope Francis, five Cardinals should retire! If ten Cardinals knew, ten Cardinals should retire! How could the Vatican teach moral after such thing? That is Not the expected Reform for which Bergoglio was elected in first place! On the night in 2013 when I believed wholeheartedly that is the God-chosen man, Petrus Romanus... Read what Financial times writes today...Vatican admits the fact of knowing of Mccarrick...it is already in the MSM everyday! And the Hats still pretend they are right and the people are just fools who should...let say it...obey blindly as during the darkest pages of Church history.
gracia, I am baffled by your unusual situation and don't understand. But I trust your heart which is full of love for the true Faith. May the blessings of Almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, come upon you and sustain you during this your personal trial! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Not trying to open up the prophesy of St Malachy argument again, but I just wanted to mention that as far as who Petrus Romanus is supposed to be, he is theorized by some to be an anti pope. The reason for this (despite the famed feeding my sheep part of the prophesy) is because at the time of St Malachy there was antipope Anacletus II, aka Pietro (Peter) Pierleoni, who was himself a Roman from a powerful Roman family. In fact, he had the support of Rome itself. He was opposed by Innocent II who had the backing of St. Bernard of Clairvaux (doctor of the Church) who was a close friend of St Malachy. To sum up, the antipope during St Malachy's lifetime was a Roman with the given name of Peter, so some people speculate that the term "Peter the Roman" refers to a future antipope. Conclude what you will
I usually don't cite the prophecy attributed to St. Malachy much because of the uncertain pedigree it has, but I have to say that if we have indeed run into the end of the Popes of this era then it seems far fetched to think that the prophecy is false. He named how many Popes? A lot. If he predicted the last pope of this era was Pope Benedict XVI and that turns out to be true, then that is like throwing a dart at a dart board blindfolded and getting a bullseye.
The prophecy of Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora talks of St Peter himself coming down and having to appoint a new pope, which would correspond with a break in the succession.
And just whom does he think that devil chooses to do "his" dirty work? Distraction technique? Pope blames devil for Church divisions, scandals, seeks angel's help VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The devil is alive and well and working overtime to undermine the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis says. In fact, the pope is so convinced that Satan is to blame for the sexual abuse crisis and deep divisions racking the Church that he has asked Catholics around the world to recite a special prayer every day in October to try to beat him back. “(The Church must be) saved from the attacks of the malign one, the great accuser and at the same time be made ever more aware of its guilt, its mistakes, and abuses committed in the present and the past,” Francis said in a message on Sept. 29. Since he was elected in 2013, Francis has made clear that he believes the devil to be real. In a document in April on holiness in the modern world, Francis mentioned the devil more than a dozen times. “We should not think of the devil as a myth, a representation, a symbol, a figure of speech or an idea. This mistake would lead us to let down our guard, to grow careless and end up more vulnerable,” he wrote in the document. The Church has recently been hit by one sexual abuse scandal after another, from Germany, to the United States, to Chile. At the same time, a deepening polarization between conservatives and liberals in the Church has played out on social media. Francis’ use of the term “the great accuser” to describe Satan hit a raw nerve with one of the pope’s harshest conservative critics, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the Vatican’s former ambassador to Washington. CHURCH DIVISIONS In an 11-page statement published on Aug. 26, Viganò launched an unprecedented broadside by a Church insider against the pope and a long list of Vatican and U.S. Church officials. He accused Francis of knowing about sexual misconduct by a former U.S. cardinal with male adult seminarians but not doing anything about it. Viganò, concluding that his former boss had singled him out as the devil in disguise, complained in his next statement that Francis “compared me to the great accuser, Satan, who sows scandal and division in the Church, though without ever uttering my name”. On Sunday, a top Vatican official issued a scathing open letter accusing Viganò of mounting a “political frame job devoid of real foundation” and contesting his accusations against the pope point by point. Francis is so convinced that Satan is ultimately to blame for both the sexual abuse scandals and the divisions within the Church that he has enlisted the aid of spiritual big gun - St. Michael the Archangel. Michael is mentioned several times in the Bible as the leader of the angels who ousted Lucifer, the fallen angel, from paradise. Catholics are being asked to recite the rosary daily in October and conclude it with a prayer to St. Michael that was said after Mass until 1964 but then fell into disuse. The prayer reads: “St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.” https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...scandals-seeks-angels-help-idUSKCN1MI10M?il=0
So pope F says Vigano is the accuser. Is pope F not also accusing Vigano or anyone else who is wanting this mess cleaned up? Sounds like he has made himself the accuser too?
It appears that pope F is doing exactly what all false apparitions say to do. 'Pray the Rosary' and in this case also 'Pray to St Michael'. This is exactly how you catch catholics. They will say... 'he must be good or he wouldnt say to pray the rosary.' Really? Many very good and faithful catholics will focus on only the good and completely ignore the obvious faults. I could be wrong, but I reckon many will get decieved.
Yes, Bernadette, we live in a period that we must see words and actions simotaniously. Words without action is a dead as man without breath. I am not fooled with pious words or outward appearance of holiness. The Antichrist and False Prophet will say many things to attract the confused. We must see and hear what has always been taught and then, most importantly, we must see actions to validate the words spoken. This is not always the case with Pope Francis. We must pray and fast more for our poor church under attack by wolves in sheep's clothing.
I am convinced that there is a whole lot more card carriers of the Freemasons in the hierarchy and clergy within the Catholic church then any knows or is speaking about. No messenger spoke more to this then Father Gobbi in his book to the priests of the Blessed Mother. They are at the root of all this evil within the clergy and they brought it all upon the church through the age old evil of Sodomy. Nothing new under the sun, but mainly a different strategy that has played out very well in the last 100 years within the very walls of the one true church. But, we know who wins in the end.
Wow. That is very interesting, I have never heard that. "Pray the Rosary" but nothing concrete about Hell, true repentance, sin, or the torments of Hell. Interesting.
If Pope Francis really believed that Satan is a real being and that Hell is a place of eternal damnation, he would have corrected his atheist friend who quoted him as saying that souls of unbelievers are annihilated. If he really believed that Satan is a real being, his friend Fr. Sosa wouldn't still be the Superior General of the Jesuits: http://catholicherald.co.uk/news/20...ic-figures-such-as-the-devil-to-express-evil/ When Cardinal Sarah made a perfectly legitimate call for Mass to be celebrated ad orientum, he was publicly rebuked and ordered to issue a correction to every news outlet which carried the report. The reaction from the Vatican to Fr. Sosa's statement was silence. It took believing Catholics to wring a half-hearted retraction from him. There will be no clean-up in the Church until the apostates are cleared out of the Jesuit order. Unfortunately, it's the same Jesuit apostates whom Pope Francis promotes, empowers and would use as role models for unsuspecting Catholic youth. Sadly, he and they appear to be cut from the same cloth.
The parishioners in my parish began saying the prayer to St. Michael after Mass when a priest doesn't say it. I believe that only one priest was saying it regularly after mass and recently he has taken ill and has not been saying mass lately. As stated above, our pastor told us that Pope Francis has asked for this prayer to be said after the rosary and I believe that our pastor specifically(?) told our parishioners not to say it at the end of mass but our parishioners are continuing to do so. There is a petition to have all of the U.S. bishops re-institute the prayer to St. Michael following all masses in the U.S. Personally, I pray that Pope Francis will do this for the entire Church because by suggesting that this prayer is said after saying the rosary in October is not enough imho and if pastors are going to suggest to parishioners that they can't say this prayer after mass, well, I find this to be ridiculous. If you have not signed the following petition yet, I hope that you will now - thank you. Please SIGN THE PETITION: Urge bishops to re-institute the St. Michael Prayer https://lifepetitions.com/petition/...bishops-to-re-institute-the-st-michael-prayer
