Yep. This horror has just begun but it ALL has to come out as painful and shocking as it is. The supurating infection cannot be healed while the poison remains in the Body. I fear it but “such things must be.”
Malachi Martin revealed this years ago. I think the horror is so beyond what most people could imagine that it will literally shut people down. I cannot imagine how savage a spiritual bloodbath this is going to be. Many will lose faith. I pray every day to hold fast but Malachi Martin said it would shake the faith of Catherine of Siena or the greatest saints. This is Satan unchained. This is what it looks like. Cling to Our Lady! Only she can help us. God has given her that mission.
If this is true it demands not just the resignation, but a full public prosecution and imprisonment of Wuerl for life!... it is beyond horrifying, I have no words... In this case it is Justice that takes precedent over Mercy, no way they are getting away with it!

The abbot of Longquan Temple on the outskirts of Beijing, who is also a member of the Communist Party’s top political advisory body, has denied accusations of harassing and demanding sexual favors from several nuns. The Buddhist Association of China said in a statement on its website that it had accepted Master Xuecheng’s offer to resign from the chairmanship and other posts on Wednesday, without elaborating on the reasons. China’s religious affairs administration launched an investigation following accusations leveled against the abbot in a document prepared by two former monks at the monastery. Xuecheng issued a denial on his Weibo microblog account, saying the allegations stemmed from “fabricated material” and “distorted facts”. The case is one of the most prominent to have arisen since the #MeToo movement began to gain momentum in China. The Chinese #MeToo-style movement came in December last year and the hashtag #MeToo has so far appeared more than millions of times on Weibo, and while issues like sexual assault have traditionally been brushed under the carpet, the movement is changing mindset among the younger generation.
This is what worries me most. We can't undo the harm done to children but somehow we have to prevent the legacy of the perpetrators and their enablers gaining full control of the Church. That investigation in Pennsylvania covered a time span of 70 years. Many of the perpetrators are dead, laicised or out of active ministry. I reckon that only a small percentage of the cases will go to trial even if the Statute of Limitations is lifted. The likes of Cardinal Wuerl and some other older Bishops taking the fall might give the appearance that the cleanout is happening, and will likely give enemies of the Church something to gloat about for a while - not least the Pennsylvania Attorney General who has political ambitions in the US Democratic Party. That won't clean the rot from the Church. Unless the seminaries and monasteries are cleaned up and there is a review of priests who passed through bad seminaries, the Church will be suffering the ongoing effects of the scandals until the faith is all but wiped out. Bad Bishops furthered the careers of bad seminarians who became bad priests and bad priests go on to become bad bishops. Cardinal McCarrick's contemporaries are old but some if not many of his proteges will be "developing Doctrine" and voting in future Conclaves for years to come unless there's a proper clean out. Married priests, female priests, seeing "good" in homosexual relationships, marital grace in non-marital unions, and accompanying people in their sins are not a solution to this evil but will be portrayed as the best solution. I posted a link, either on this thread or the "Signs" thread, to a report about two monks in Egypt being arrested for the murder of a Coptic Bishop there. The Copts have put a hold on accepting new seminarians and have suspended all ordinations for a period of three years. We need to do something along the same lines before the priesthood is completely destroyed by those who would turn Christ's Church into yet another Lavender NGO.
Well I suppose it is true to say in past times we have seen all this before. I think what is particularly upsetting this time is the relationship all this has to open heresy. We never got this before. No matter how bad the Popes Caridnals and Bishops it did not result in bad teachings within the Church herself. The bad people left in Schism and open heresy, at the Protestant so called, 'Reformation', for instance. This time they stay in the Church nad control it. I would say any time you find a pervert cleric expect a heretic. Anytime you find a heretic expect him or her to be a pervert. Or low life. Whatever.
It was A Satruday night as I lay in bed and I felt that there was not only one but several high level rites taking place in the city. I could feel them blasting away like cold air. These people are experts, their were reports of black masses in Rome dating back right to the early chritians. They invented them.
But I am still happy and full of joy and peace. Shocked and dismayed, yes. Deeply hurt for the Church , heartsore yes. Indignant; angry ; yes. But some people choose the road to hell, some folks choose the road to heaven. Thus it was, thus it is ; thus it always will be. But I choose heaven. As Scripture says:

I have a conundrum....McCarrick was my bishop. My pastor was "good friends" with him. He ordained him.......one of his favorites. That said, I go to a bereavement group at my parish center tonight. In the room is a huge 6 ft portrait of McCarrick. I would like to request it be taken down now. Am I in the right? I can't stare at that pedophile any longer.
