Plus will God the Father be comfortable with the fact that His only begotten Son is spat on in Sacrilgeous Receptions of Communion in Catholic Churches right across the World on a Regular basis at the behest of a Roman Pontiff without getting angry? Do they have no regard at all for the Justice of Heaven? That the angels themselves do not cry to heaven for vengeance? Do they think that God is mocked and will stay silent? That heaven can be stringed along? I think not. Pope Francis was given the Keys. But God can take the Keys away again.
God will not be mocked in the end, but He will allow Himself to be mocked in the short run, just as His Son was mocked during the Passion. He will allow these disgraces because of His Great Mercy and Love for us. His Love of those last few sheep who he can get into the corral before no more will come. He is currently gathering up the last wayward sheep. I think the one thing He will not allow is what Sister Lucy told us: “Also, since Our Lord is a very good Son, He will not permit that we offend and despise His Blessed Mother. We have as obvious testimony the history of different centuries where Our Lord has shown us with terrible examples how He has always defended the honor of His Blessed Mother." -Sister Lucy, 1957 We have been given Our Lady in this time to guide us, if we spurn her then we are in a very bad way.
Insightful. Perhaps this will be their downfall; that they spit in the face of The Mother of God next. Having already spat in the face of the Eucharistic King. I wouldn't put it past them, their arrogance and Pride is quite incredible.
I think they have already begun spurning her. Last October when they promoted Martin Luther in the month of Our Lady and even put him in her stead on the Vatican stamp. How often do we hear mention of her anymore? Or the Rosary? Almost never where I live outside of the Latin Mass.
Padraig, The godless culture is simply all-pervasive. There is a family that has come faithfully to Holy Mass for years. The parents are in their late 30s and have four children. I remember instructing their oldest daughter (16) when she came to 6th grade classes on Sundays. But here she was yesterday at Mass wearing the latest fashion: a blouse that exposes the shoulders, upper back, and everything just above her breasts. I wish I had a chance to talk to her Dad about the male impulse that wants to walk over and rip the whole blouse off. He certainly should realize how such immodesty impacts the male pzyche. But there are so many issues to deal with in a younger family, the culture tends to overwhelm. Yet how unbecoming at Holy Mass. So many of those you call good Catholics are either clueless or have capitulated. Maybe I'll stop by and have a chat with him... my level of responsibility is a little higher now. Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
Actually, Praetorian, you can check on this. Luther had a deep devotion to Mary that Lutherans would now be aghast to learn about. https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/view.cfm?id=788 Safe Under Mary's Mantle!
God can take the keys away and give them to someone else, the next pope, who He could recruit from among the simple, and not the college of cardinals - God could do that. This was indeed the intuition of Francisco Sanchez Ventura, a spiritual son of Padre Pio, and researcher of Marian apparitions, in regards to the 3rd Secret of Fatima. He wrote (I paraphrase here) that what it probably contained was the story of a pope that ends up falling in heresy by compromising with the world and then, Our Lord, in preparation for his Second Coming, takes the keys away from him and gives them to the "mystical" Pope, repeating what had happened during the His First Coming: that He put aside the "official Church" (the Sanhedrin), and chose a simple lay man as his vicar on Earth with the words "you are Peter and upon this rock...", because Peter had the Faith the official Church didn't! So yes God may take the keys away from the hierarchy and choose a simple lay person (a faithful lay priest). Ventura then recalls that the Virgin, in her apparitions, has frequently repeated that idea that the lay people will save the Church.
It makes me wonder if some of the times when we see Mirjana during her apparition with Blessed Mother; and Mirjana looks shocked and aghast, could Blessed Mother be saying to Mirjana, "Look what they are going to do to my Son in the Holy Eucharist?" and Mirjana sees the sacreligeous Holy Communions. Mario, would you not think your friend being a man himself would have a clue as to the effect his daughter is having on other males when she exposes her flesh immodestly at Holy Mass. And what about normal Priests; they are tempted the same as normal men. It is a disgrace that women and girls should show up at Mass uncovered and immodest. We were always told women and girls should not go to Mass without covering the shoulders and upper arms, along with the rest of their body at least to the knees. We see the same problem in our Churches here in the UK. I am definitely shocked when females assisting with distributing Holy Communion, turn up looking more like they are ready for a night club than a Church service.
Yes, Julia; and don't forget me, I'm just a normal Deacon. Here I was proclaiming God's Word and this precious teenager is sitting directly in front of me in the 4th pew. Lord have mercy on us! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Being Pope is such a huge responsibility, the greatest in the entire world, just because the Keys of Peter are placed in the Vicar of Christ's Hands. In fact they call the room were the new Pope Vests, 'The Room of Tears', because new Popes often cry their eyes out at having being given such awesome power. I love it that when we say the rosary we say three, 'Hail Mary's ', for the Pope. I must remember to pray for him every day, I keep forgetting, but at least we all pray for him each day at mass. He is our Spiritual Father on Earth and so we should naturally have a deep love and veneration for him. So now we have a Pope who is, to say the very least, quite dreadful; in fact the worst the Church has ever has. This is quite simply a fact. I so wish it wasn't so but it is. Still we must pray for him more than ever. We must respect him at all times. But I confess in recent times when I look at pictures of him I feel a sense of the deepest horror. I can't bear to even glance at his pictures. I was at Church last night and there were copies of the Redemptorist magazine, 'Reality', with a big front page colour photo of his, welcoming him to Ireland. I can only say , once again I had a real feeling of horror and dread looking at it. So spooky. Does anyone else get this? This sense of dread when you look on him?
So interesting about Francisco Ventura, thanks for this. Yes I think this is what God will do. However in order to accomplish this I think the Cardinal Electors must be spiritually ready for it and at the moment they are not. Our Lady, in a recent message said that God was preparing to 'Cleanse the Church of the Filth within it'. How did the filth get there in the first place? Well I think primarily because position and power in the Church can give you the Good Life. So these wicked individuals congregate in the Church like flies round cow droppings. In order for these flies to go away the Good Times , the Good things , the dough , the good life has to go. In other words in order to cleanse the dung that clings to our Church we need the cleansing Fires of Persecution and that is just over the horizon.
I find I can’t look. I pray for him but I don’t look at him and I stopped hearing or reading what he says. All my info on him comes from MOG. I beg the Lord for his salvation but I can’t look. I don’t know if it’s dread. It feels more like defending from a wound.
I can't bear to look at him either. I find it hard to look at people that I feel are hurting others. I have always been like that. Watching the news has always been hard for me because of that. I do pray for him. I often pray the Lord give me the grace to understand him because in just don't.
Psalm 8:2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
It occurs to me that Pius X name was Joseph—Giuseppe. Certainly Pope Benedict has suffered. Is this in the immediate future? Just sayin’.
