Precision Strikes on Assad’s Chemical Weapons Sites first wave was about 15 min. .... one known target hit was a "scientific research center"....targets appear to be precise, having to do with the chemical weapon facilities or secondary to them.
Israeli intelligence is identifying the targets. I was in Dublin city not far from the car bombs planted by the British security forces in 1974. The senior party in our government wanted to pass a contentious law and their junior partners wouldn't support them. The British government wanted that law passed. This wave of airstrikes is over. No additional attacks planned. If Syria decides to use chemical weapons in future more response will be in order due to the international ban on them. So far this looks very coordinated and planned.

If Syria has stockpiles of chemical weapons, will the air strikes cause the chemicals to be released into the air or what will happen them?
In a perfect strike they would be incinerated in the blast and hopefully not release them to atmosphere while leaving minimal residuals. Chances are good if the intel is right and everything goes according to plan.
