The prophecies of Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora

With reference to prophecy I just want to throw this out there to see what people think. It relates to Fatima and Akita and the current crisis in the world over Syria which has resulted in a very dangerous situation between USA, Russia and the U.K. We know Our Lady appeared in Fatima in 1917 and what warnings she gave. Our Lady appeared in Akita in 1973 and basically repeated what she had said at Fatima. At Akita the statue wept 101 times. I wondered about this. Why 101 and not any other number?

I believe it relates to the expiration of the 100 years from 1917. We know that Heaven communicates in signs and nothing is sloppy or by chance. We know what happened to the King of France when he failed to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart; 100 years to the day from when the request was made and had not been responded to positively, the king was executed. 100 years is an important timeframe.

When you add 101 to 1917 you get, 2018.

Also, why did Our Lady appear in Japan? Could it be because it is the only country to ever have been attacked with atomic/ nuclear weapons?

So in addition to the messages and Our Lady’s tears, could these two signs be significant?

The use of nuclear weapons would also cause darkness and block out the sun. It would also cause howling winds. The three days of darkness?

According to Sister Sasagawa her angel told her:
“There is a meaning to the number 101. It means that the sin has entered in the world by a woman and it is by a woman that will come the salvation. The zero between the two 1, represents the God eternal, being of all eternity until the eternity. The first 1 represents Eve and the second, the Virgin Mary.”

Some facts:
Japan was the site of the first atomic strike.
Akita was also the last city bombed by the USA just hours before World War II ended.
Also Akita, Japan is on the same parallel as Fatima, Portugal.

 

Could the 101 have a dual meaning I wonder? Just speculating. I’m no expert.

 

Also Nagasaki was bombed as it was THE centre of Catholic life in Japan. The Catholic Cathedral was literally the aiming point for the bomb, though the port was just three miles away and surely a more militarily strategic target than a Catholic Cathedral? Unless of course the real intention was to attack Christ by attacking His Church and people? The political and military elites of the USA were heavily staffed with Freemasons. Our Lord equates to Saul remember that by attacking His people he was attacking Jesus Himself.

I had heard this. Knowing what we know now about the machinations of this cabal it makes sense.

 

Good to see those on the forum are taking credible prophecy seriously. Here is another one that fits within the prophetic consensus.

This prophecy was given by a 90 yr. old woman in Norway 42 years ago about events leading up to the second coming of Christ. An Evangelist by the name of Emanuel Minos wrote this prophecy down in 1968 and thought it was so extreme that he put it away. He recently reviewed the prophecy and was amazed that it is not "extreme" anymore--but the norm in our society. Read the prophecy below.

An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God in 1968. The evangelist Emanuel Minos had meetings (services) where she lived. He had the opportunity to meet her, and she told him what she had seen. He wrote it down, but thought it to be so unintelligible that he put it in a drawer. Now, almost 30 years later, he understands he has to share the vision with others.

The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and credible Christian, with a good reputation among all who knew her. This is what she saw:



"I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I saw the world like a kind of a globe

and saw Europe, land by land. I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never before experienced.

She mentioned four waves:
1. "First before Jesus comes and before the Third World War breaks out there will be a ‘détente’ like we have never had before. There will be peace between the super powers in the east and the west, and there will be a long peace. (Remember, that this was in 1968 when the cold war was at its highest. E. Minos) In this period of peace there will be disarmament in many countries, also in Norway and we are not prepared when it (the war) comes. The Third World War will begin in a way no one would have anticipated - and from an unexpected place.

2. "A lukewarmness without parallel will take hold of the Christians, a falling away from true, living Christianity. Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity.

"The important thing will be to have success, to be something; to have material things, things that God never promised us in this way. Churches and prayer houses will be emptier and emptier. Instead of the preaching we have been used to for generations -like, to take your cross up and follow Jesus, - entertainment, art and culture will invade the churches where there should have been gatherings for repentance and revival. This will increase markedly just before the return of Jesus.

3. "There will be a moral disintegration that old Norway has never experienced the likes of. People will live together like married without being married. (I do not believe the concept ‘co-habitor’? existed in 1968 - E. Minos.) Much uncleanness before marriage, and much infidelity in marriage will become the natural (the common), and it will be justified from every angle. It will even enter Christian circles and we pet it - even sin against nature. Just before Jesus return there will be TV- programs like we have never experienced. (TV had just arrived in Norway in 1968. E. Minos)

"TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. There will not be only one ‘station’ on TV, it will be filled with ‘stations.’ (She did not know the word ‘channel’ which we use today. Therefore she called them stations. E. Minos.) TV will be just like the radio where we have many ‘stations,’ and it will be filled with violence. People will use it for entertainment. We will see terrible scenes of murder and destruction one of the other, and this will spread in society. Sex scenes will also be shown on the screen, the most intimate things that takes place in a marriage." (I protested and said, we have a paragraph that forbids this kind of thing. E. Minos.) There the old woman said: "It will happen, and you will see it. All we have had before will be broken down, and the most indecent things will pass before our eyes."

4. "People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968 there was no such thing as immigration. E. Minos.) They will also come to Scandinavia - and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I protested at the issue of immigration. I did not understand it at the time. E. Minos.)

The tears streamed from the old woman’s eyes down her cheeks. "I will not see it, but you will. Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the

Third World War breaks out. It will be a short war." (She saw it in the vision.)

"All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb. The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one’s breath. It will cover several continents, America, Japan, Australia and the wealthy nations. The water will be ruined (contaminated?). We can no longer till the soil. The result will be that only a remnant will remain. The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.

"I am so glad that I will not see it, but when the time draws near, you must take courage and tell this. I have received it from God, and nothing of it goes against what the Bible tells.

"The one who has his sin forgiven and has Jesus as Savior and Lord, is safe."

Compared to now 2012 was the good ole days - well, not quite but you get the drift.

Certainly. I think many things from the Bible, apparitions, prophecies etc. are very multi-layered. Just look at Fatima and all of the symbolism and deep meaning there. Things that we are still uncovering about it and that was 100 years ago.

The thing that I am really not certain about from this prophecy is the following,
"Then suddenly, Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out."
I don't think that matches with what Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora has stated amongst others.

 

Carol, as you can see from Fatima's post and listening to the Utube also posted, there are slight variations in the translation of this prophesy.

We did have the 1968 prophesy posted on the Forum before. In the translation I had heard Jesus coming AND the Third World War breaking out was the other way round. That is the Third World War breaks out AND then Jesus comes. As far as I understand it, if a nuclear war breaks out and is not halted, life on the planet could be wiped out. Jesus coming after the war breaks out reflects the other prophesies where we hear Chastisements on earth will be followed by Chastisements/intervention from God.

I believe Jesus coming in this prophesy may be more like the Illumination which also involves the Holy Spirit, Whose coming will enlighten the minds of us all and show us the state of our souls as God sees them. I also believe, this is when we will have the light by God's grace to 'know' Jesus truly is present in Holy Eucharist. In this way we will know Jesus in what we have heard as 'The Eucharistic Reign' of Jesus. Hope I have explained what I understand from these prophesies.

As Roman Catholics of course we also recognise the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in this 'awakening' to the reality of Eucharistic Jesus. He is already here with us in Holy Eucharist waiting for us to respond, we just don't get it these days.

I do feel this 1968 prophesy is the real deal. I can relate to every bit of it from my own memory being born in 1948, and clearly identify with the way events are described and in the exact language and terminology used. We understood the TV stations before the word channels came into use. The wording about the degenerating lifestyles is just the way we would have expressed sinful living back then. I completely understand the terminology as it was written from a 1968 perspective.

This prophesy is truly remarkable, and I believe we need to respond in order not to be held accountable before God. Remember Saint John Paul saying knowledge is responsibility. Now we know we need to prepare.

What you have stated makes complete sense to me.

I am pretty certain this is the first time that I have heard of this particular seer and I am sure that you understand why I posted what I did but I also wondered about the exact same thing that you have stated, that is when the prophecy states that "Jesus will come" this is probably referring to a Divine intervention possibly the Illumination.

Where confusion comes in with regards to the return of Jesus is that most will equate this with the physical in the flesh return of Jesus or what is known as the Protestant error of millenarianism. Jesus will be known via the Warning and that is the first way he will return in his mercy. In the era of peace after the purification he will return through his Eucharisitc reign. Both are mystical ways of Jesus return and this is what many credible Catholic prophets have unveiled in the past 50 years.

 

I find it stunning how all of these prophesies fit like a glove to our present time. Our prayers and sacrifices are vital. The coming Glory of God is unimaginable.
Please Lord, have Mercy on us. Grant us Charity and all the Graces only you can know each one of us need to bring Glory and Honor to you now and forever. Amen.

 

I agree that our focus, especially if we are living in sanctifying grace, should be on our own journey of prayer, penance and some physical preparations. Others who are living in the the sins of the world will fear unbearably the cross that comes to the whole world and they will have no where to turn in their fear for it will come like a thief in the night. Many may repent late, but it will not bring them the absence of fear, as their knowledge of what God is doing will be upon them, just as one can assume many in Jonah's time repented when the water was up to their nose.

 

Alois Irlmaier appears to have seen people using touch screen cell phones at the time that he believes WWIII will occur.
He stated something like he saw people with black boxes the size of a cigarette box and they were wiping their hand over it.

I found the following link about this seer from Norway that we are discussing along with another seer who stated the following in 1937 which was unheard at the time,
‘When oil comes out of the North Sea and along the Norwegian coast, things will begin to happen, and the return of Jesus is approaching.’
Today all the world’s big oil companies are pumping oil along the coast of Norway.
