There are many avenues which we could go down and each individual will need to answer the call in their own special way. The legs and the arms the chest and the feet no part of the body can act acordingly if the mouth does not open and the tongue testify what the eyes have seen and the ears heard. The internet has been a great tool and continues to be but unless the information on the internet transcends its electronic medium it runs the risk of becoming an echo chamber. The information must get into the parishes. I tested this a few month ago. I took a article posted on a bishops own blog questioning the validity of francis' pontificate citing the varous discepencies we all know and made 50 hard copies and distributed them at my parish. I saw the liberal faction of that parish shake i saw the fear in the priest the bishop was informed. I saw The priest in a rage tell me to leave the parish and never return that i was not welcome and that i had no right to do what i did and that i should be ashamed. I stood there face to face and said i was not ashamed and that Canon 212 gives me every right and even demands my duty to inform pastors and fellow christians of things which pertain to the good of the church... i saw the faithful who attend the latin mass there rally round stood with and defend me. I was then asked by the priest who comes to say the latin mass there not to do it any more as there are strong forces in the parish that wants to get rid of the latin mass and he does not want to give them bullets to fire... to me that is when you should go on the offensive when your under attack but out of respect and obedience i agreed. Their strengh is in keeping the majority of the congragation in ignornce as they run rampant our strengh is enlightening them. In all honesty the whole episode shook me too i was not expecting such a reaction to a few bits of paper... i was called a disgrace and a disgusting human being by some parishinors i am sure if i continued it would have been a lot worse even if we do not take a stand today at some point we will be forced to do so and by then it will be much worse than today... we must prepare ourselves now for that
The institutional church has been hijacked but the Bride of Christ opposes these heterodox attitudes.
totally shocking. I despair[/QUOTE] Yes maryrose. It is shocking. A savage betrayal but don’t despair! Pray the words of the psalms. They are very powerful and very calming. Let God arise. Let His enemies be scattered...

OooRah & Well Done!!, MK The Lavender Lefties who HiJacked Vatican II and their Ilk in the Global Left are starting to realize that their PC Machine has had a wrench thrown in the gearbox! .... and "They" don't like it. The thought that Parishioners (Citizens) are standing-up and saying: "I'm mad as hell & not gonna take it anymore!!" has Them angry and Fearful. They will not go down without a fight but I certainly hope-n-pray that everyone here knows that The Lord is with us and promised that His Church would prevail ..... and fights have always required blood, tears and sweat. Come Lord Jesus!! We trust in You!! GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
The Vatican are explaining away the award by saying it was given in an exchange of honours between the Vatican and a delegation from the Dutch government. Pope Francis presented the President of the US with a copy of Laudate Si. The Church would have been better served had the Dutch politicians been given a copy of Humane Vitae. Ms "My parents were Catholic; I am also a Catholic but differently" Plaumens should have been presented with a notice of excommunication. She, of course, had had a private meeting with the Pope in 2015 and singing his praises afterwards said that all religious leaders should follow his example. At this stage, he could be leader of any religion because he appears to believe that none possesses the fullness of revealed Truth. There can be absolutely no doubt that the Vatican knew what they were doing presenting the award to that evil woman and absolutely no doubt that they knew the ensuing publicity would be used to undermine the anti-abortion movement. I suppose we should be grateful that he didn't make her a Cardinal. I can understand why God would punish us for our sins by permitting the election of an atheists' dream pope but why would He permit this assault on innocent unborn babies? If it were possible, that woman is more evil than the Pope's favourite "forgotten great".
In that article, the priest mentions that even bloggers who make others aware of the current crisis in our Church are doing something positive. In the footnote, he says that God is inspiring would-be saints to act, but they/ we are not responding. I definitely haven't gotten any inspiration to take any concrete action. Maybe some here have been prompted? So I can only voice out my thoughts as often as I can, and say that anyone who is trying hard to change the Gospel and destroy the Catholic Church deserves no deference, even if he be the pope himself. Galatians 1:8-9Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA) 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. 9 As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.
http://www.catholicculture.org/commentary/the-city-gates.cfm?ID=1543 The Amoris debate: Is it really a matter of confusion? (Part II) By Phil Lawler (bio - articles - email) | Jan 15, 2018 Last week in this space I argued that Amoris Laetitia definitely has caused confusion (claims to the contrary notwithstanding), and that actually to call the situation “confusing” should be recognized as a display of respect for the Pope’s authority. In closing that short essay, I promised to turn my attention next to the question of how other Church leaders could ease the confusion. Here goes: A few bishops from Kazakhstan opened the new year with a statement observing that the reigning confusion is, as a practical matter, “spreading the plague of divorce.” In light of this pastoral disaster, they concluded that, in their role as successors to the apostles, they were “not allowed to be silent.” So they made a new plea for clarity. They added that the widespread notion that divorced-and-remarried Catholics may now receive the Eucharist—a notion undeniably made popular by the fallout from Amoris Laetitia, whatever one might conclude that the text says—is “alien to the entire tradition of the Catholic and apostolic faith.” Only a bare handful of the world’s bishops have joined their Kazakh colleagues in that public statement. For that matter only four cardinals signed the dubia, the original public plea for papal clarification. Why have so few prelates joined in this necessary call for an end to the general confusion? Today’s CWN news headlines point to a statement by Archbishop Luigi Negri, one of those few prelates who has signed the plea for clarification. The Italian archbishop indicates that he is open to the possibility that some divorced-and-remarried Catholics might receive the Eucharist under some circumstances. What he cannot accept, the archbishop says, is the current uncertainty. “I am against confusion,” he explains simply. How can anyone who is responsible for the integrity of Church teaching think otherwise? Under different circumstances I might conclude that the silence of the world’s bishops could reflect the general popularity of Pope Francis. But only recently we saw clear evidence that quite a few bishops lack enthusiasm for the current pontificate. When I first called attention to that evidence, I’m afraid I made my point in a way that struck some readers as flippant, and for that I am sorry. But the point is important; let me try again. In the past, seminarians who wanted to serve as acolytes at the Pope’s Christmas Mass were asked to enter their names in a lottery. This year there was no lottery; every seminarian who asked for a place on the altar was accepted. Maybe I am overanalyzing this incident, jumping hastily to unwarranted conclusions. But unless human nature has suddenly changed, it is striking that young men training for the priesthood would not seize an opportunity to be seen alongside the Pope. What does that fact tell us? First, we know that as a group the seminarians studying at the various national colleges in Rome (generally speaking the most promising candidates for the priesthood) are not as enthusiastic today as their predecessors were in past years about celebrating Christmas with the Pope. Next, we can safely assume that the seminarians were under no pressure to volunteer for the acolytes’ roles, and that in turn suggests that the directors of the national colleges were less enthusiastic. Finally—and most important, in terms of my present argument—since prudent seminarians usually do what they know their bishops want done, we can infer that these young men did not think that their bishops back home would be delighted to see them standing next to the Roman Pontiff. So it would not be a stretch to conclude that quite a few bishops are unenthusiastic, too. But if bishops have reservations about Pope Francis, isn’t it also likely that they have reservations about the single most controversial aspect of his pontificate? And if they have such reservations—that is, if they recognize the damage to the faith caused by the current confusion—why are they silent? Here I am raising questions that do not allow for definitive answers. So let me end this admittedly speculative post by making the questions explicit: Am I wrong to conclude that the shortage of seminarians interested in serving as acolytes testifies to a general lack of enthusiasm about this pontificate, among seminarians from all around the world and presumably also among their bishops? If the world’s bishops are not particularly happy about this pontificate, is it unreasonable to assume that the confusion caused by Amoris Laetitia is one major reason for their dissatisfaction? If many of the world’s bishops are troubled by the confusion, why don’t they join in the effort to restore clarity?
Besides prayer and fasting I can't think of anything. We could write letters I suppose but they would be binned and the writer laughed at as a dinosaur. But maybe something will happen, we will see. The Polish seem to be leading the way. God bless them.
Two seriously ugly signs of the times involving papal honors and the silencing of bells Posted on 15 January 2018 by Fr. John Zuhlsdorf Signs of the times. This first item struck me as being right up there with someone in Hawaii pushing the wrong button, or maybe a prime example of fake news. A few days ago I saw tweets and a report that the Holy Father had awarded the papal honor of St. Gregory to an infamous promotrix of abortion in Holland, Lilianne Ploumen. She is the Dutch Ministrix of Development. She had, inter alia, worked to fill the gaps of funding for abortions overseas after Pres. Trump cut funding. “It can’t be true”, I thought. “Or if it is, then someone pushed the wrong button.” I was amazed. However, what was more amazing about it is that even she seemed amazed. Watch the video below (doesn't seem to be there, refer to http://wdtprs.com/blog/)as she talks about getting the award. Transcript: BNR – And this is the umpteenth prize that Lilianne Ploumen observes, won in 2017 and from whom they came. Ploumen – Yes, it is a high distinction from the Vatican; from the pope. BNR – From the pope. Ploumen – Beautiful. BNR – Yes. Ploumen – It is Commander in the order of St. Gregory. BNR – And that despite that you are pro-abortion. [Note how amused they are here.] Ploumen – Yes you can check. The Card. Eijk of Utrecht jumped in to say that he had nothing to do with this papal honor. Usually local bishops are involved when they are bestowed. They put in requests, the mandarins in Rome go through their gyrations and honors are awarded. The Holy See’s Press Office issued a statement over the signature of one of the collaborators of the office, not over Greg Burke’s (he’s off to S. America with the Pope and in this age of social communications, with inboard wifi, etc., that leaves him out of the loop). The press office statement says that this award was part of a routine exchange of honors for diplomatic purposes during a state visit. Therefore, it has nothing to do with Ploumen’s advocacy of abortion. Huh? Yes, I’m afraid that it does! I know that the Pope himself is not bothered with most of these awards. This is handled in the Secretariat of State. But you’d think that someone in SecState, who knows the situation in Holland, would have said something like, “Ummm.. guys? Maybe we should pick someone who isn’t famous for being pro-abortion? I’m jus’ sayin’.” I keep circling back to that video…. Does this not fit the definition of scandal? Does this action in some way diminish the Church’s moral authority in defending human life, fighting abortion, and even working on the world stage to prevent abortion in developing countries? 2287 Anyone who uses the power at his disposal in such a way that it leads others to do wrong becomes guilty of scandal and responsible for the evil that he has directly or indirectly encouraged. The flip side of this is, of course, that when an authority fails to act to prevent or diminish scandal, that authority is negligent, perhaps sinfully so. Think, in another context, of a Catholic school inviting an infamous homosexualist advocate to speak. Even it the Jesuit is going to talk about something that has nothing to do with homosexuality, every one there knows that he and his primary message – set aside for tonight – is tacitly being approved by the fact that he has been whitelisted to speak. Nudge… wink. Shifting gears… The Religion if Peace is invading Europe. It is a form of jihad involving immigration called hijra. It is intended precisely to spread Islam. Build up your numbers in a region and then move against the infidel, now powerless to defend. Nearly all our pastors seem to be prone in the face of the OBVIOUS. Pam Geller’s site reports that practitioners of the Religion of Peace in near Genoa, Italy, have demanded that church bells be silenced. “Before Christmas we received a letter from a lawyer who, in the name of his client, ordered to stop the bells of the church of the Blessed Sacrament,” said Fr Michele De Santis, the Chancellor of the Curia, [i.e., the chancery] ” so we advised the parish priest to stop them. ». So, the parish has curtailed the use of their bells. Hmmm… the blessing of bells is nicknamed “baptism”. They are washed with holy water, annointed with chrism and given a name. They speak, and remind us to of God and remind us when to pray, as at certain times of day they ring the Angelus and Mass times, alert us to 3 o’clock on Fridays, let us know of burials and marriages, etc. It’s okay for muslims to have calls to prayer from the tops of towers, but not Catholics. Shutting down bells in Catholic church towers is like disarming a population before the imposition of tyranny. I am sure, however, that the catholic Left will be sympathetic both to this anti-bell movement as well as the award to the Dutch abortion promotrix. How sophisticated they will strive to sound as they explain how the delicate work of diplomatic circles can be, the need to make friends, not stir the pot too much. How thoughtful they will appear, as they, with a slightly sad smile explain that bells are, in the end, not such a big deal. We have to be respectful of different ways. We have to welcome the immigrant and – hey! – they aren’t used to bells. They don’t have them where they come from! It would be inhospitable to cling to the unnecessary trappings – in fact old and probably outdated practices. Abortion… hijra … jihad by immigration/invasion. Can’t we all just get along? Please share!
Those who won't defend our Faith will soon find themselves in positions much like that of their fallen asleep brothers and sisters in European nations. Lost. Given over. The Church Militant will rise. Probably more as a result of our own than of outsiders.
Reading this actually bruised my heart and made me cry,... but now I feel angry,.. because it is a just anger, we all should feel
One of the promises of the Rosary is that it will DEFEAT heresy. The devil sure doesn't want us to say the Rosary, wear the Scapular, do the First Fridays or First Saturdays. Just a small band of devout Catholics are doing that. Think of how the Masonic influence has wiped out the holiness.
Just be careful reading too much into Geller and the likes of her friends like Robert Spencer. They both have ties to known nationalist groups and others such as EDL. These are people who it seems are actively trying to foment hatred by telling some truths to bring people to their causes. They keep these hidden on purpose.
Another false Christ????? The Lord has impressed upon me the need to keep my practices of the Faith simple and time-tested I keep bringing up the Mystical Body of Christ We need to stay in the state of grace Pray that Rosary! Our Lady will let each one of her soldier children know what we need to do to help ourselves, our families, and others Each one of us has a mission We pray to ask God to show us what it is Then we shall know what to do But He gives us our daily bread Enough food for the day Not the entire journey We can’t know tomorrow yet Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof
