Yes, praying for all affected by this storm and all the storms of humanity. Please be safe and update us.
So true bobby.. but I think this storm will catch quite a few sleeping,,attitude seems to be ack well its going to be windy ?? I myself have battened down the hatches and helped put away the usual garden stuff for a few elderly neighbours.. I noticed this morning that the reservoir beside me was packed solid with sea gulls being a sea angler I know these birds only come inland in such numbers when a big storm is brewing.. watch and pray folks.. be safe..
I think it is life threatening - that is why Met Eireann are warning people to be extra vigilant: Met Eireann: This will be a significant weather event for Ireland with potentially high impacts – structural damage and flooding (particularly coastal) - and people are advised to take extreme care Keep up to date with the warnings. https://www.met.ie/news/display.asp?ID=452
The storm seemed to be on course for the north of the Iberian Peninsula and France, then a sudden change of direction for Ireland. Muzhik and his colleagues must be praying mighty well at that Fatima conference.
Apparently if it had hit the Iberian peninsula it would have been hurricane force. Seems there are more prayers going up in Fatima than the whole of Ireland!!
Anyone else in Ireland think this could have something to do with the introduction of SSM in 2015? Us being the only country to do so by popular vote... Hope everyone stays safe.
I live in the Red Zone and near the coast. Battening down the hatches this evening. Schools are staying closed tomorrow so kids are happy! But may not be so happy when the electricity goes and there's no more wifi/playstation/tv...
I'm not too far from the west coast, Co Galway, I get the feeling we are in for some Chastisement. Just after the 100th anniversary. Interesting alright how it veered past Portugal and up to us. I am hoping all those Divine Mercy prayers and great road signs will help a little. View attachment 6937
I am very disappointed in Cardinal Burke. He makes much of the confusion at high levels in the church going so far as to issue his famous Dubia etc. It is then simply unacceptable that this highly educated senior church figure then sits around for over a year without following up as he promised to do on the unanswered and unresponded to Dubia. Over one full year. I can not take a church man like that very seriously. Indeed he should either withdraw his Dubia immediately or act upon it. The same applies to the other two surviving cardinals who signed this document. The catholic college of Cardinals is in danger of becoming a bit of a sideshow.
In fairness to him, did I hear some recent comments from him that seemed to lean towards the pro-life side? I only glance at newspaper headlines now, so I might have got that wrong. As bad and all as the 'marriage' referendum was, the forces at work to introduce abortion-on-demand into Ireland are even more demonic. Will a big enough wallop of a storm awaken enough souls?
Cardinal Burke through his Dubia raised serious questions. It is over a year now and no answers. The cardinal made promises to act if the Dubia remained unanswered . Unless the cardinal withdraws the Dubia he must act and very soon. Inactivity is not an option if the cardinal is to retain the confidence that many have placed in him.
Excuse me? How is it trolling to criticise a cardinal who one year later has not implemented his promise on a very very serious issue? The same Cardinal is complaining about confusion yet he above all is in a position to actually do something about it. Perhaps you enjoy being confused and to accuse others of trolling is your only response.
Hopefully DeGaulle. I was at a talk by Marija the visionary from Medjugorje when she was in Ireland and she promised renewal within the Church here. So please God people will come to their senses soon.
Yes I thought that was a strange path. Dolours I will be praying for safety for all those in its path.
