Wanted to say that the website featuring the material of Italian stigmatic Giulio Massa is now back in action after several weeks' pause while he submitted the locutions received by him in Holy Week to the Church authorities. The relevant messages are now out on incamminocongiulio.it, accompanied by a new 'blood image' which is being interpreted as an encouragement to Giulio's spiritual director (the Latin text os meum es sacerdos meaning 'Priest, you are my mouth', the design below being that of the St Benedict medal as the priest in question is a Benedictine).

The reason for the wait on this, Giulio's biographer explained to me, was that there was a message concerning the Church that they needed the green light before publishing... and the text below shows why (the emphasis in red is mine)... What is very interesting is that this request for the Consecration of Russia (and not only) in terms of 'updating' is more or less exactly what Cardinal Burke recently called for in a remarkable speech in Rome last month:

I'm not exactly an out-and-out Cardinal Burke supporter more generally - and neither was I on board with a lot of Fr Grüner's broader agenda in trying to campaign for an explicit Consecration of Russia - but IMHO Cardinal B. is absolutely on the money about this one. And the fact is that Giulio Massa is only the latest of several mystics whose messages many years have stated that the 1984 Consecration by John Paul II was not the definitive fulfillment of Our Lady's request in Fatima, beginning with Don Gobbi and including Luz de Maria Bonilla, Polish seer 'Adam Czlowiek' and Verne Dagenais of the 'God Speaks Will You Listen' locutions.

The Russians have a big problem with "churches" like the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Scientologists who are just fronts for the Western intelligence services. Putin' no dummy. Relations between the Catholic Church and Russia have never been better, as evidenced by the recent transferal by the Catholic Church of the St. Nicholas Icon to Russia for veneration. It's the fake churches who have to worry about this new law, not the Church founded by Christ.

 

Yes, with all the hype about Russia interfering in the US elections nobody notices the US interfering in Russia's internal affairs, including their elections. Fake news is just another term for propaganda and governments have been using it forever.

The piece in Mac's link is worrying nonetheless. No government should get a pass on that. Trouble is that one source of the news in Mac's link is the LA Times which would happily see Christianity subjected to Government control in the US and it could be argued that they advocate for forcing Christians to succumb to the homosexual and abortion lobbies. News outlets like the LA Times, the NYT, the Washington Post and CNN are no better than any of Putin's puppet news outlets. Where are they when Catholic priests are being leaned on in Europe and Canada for preaching the Gospel in homilies at Holy Mass? Where were they when the Little Sisters of the Poor were being forced to choose between paying for contraceptives or continuing to care for the elderly? They were on the side of the oppressors. It's the same old, same old, as long as they are pointing the index finger at someone else nobody notices the other three fingers pointing back at themselves.

Something else that amuses me about the anti-Putin brigade is the way they put the blame on him for any and every wrongdoing perpetrated by people they claim are his friends or acquaintances. Who knows whether they're right or wrong about that. Soros, who contributes vast amounts of money to the US Democratic Party, also contributes to campaigns across the globe seeking to influence the outcome of elections. By their standards wouldn't such interference by Soros have been US meddling in the democratic process of foreign countries when Obama was President and the Democrats controlled the Congress?

 

It seems the Fatima prayer is no longer relevant in Fatima.They just skip this now.What a disgrace.
