Hi everyone Today I'm asking for your prayers for myself. I have had depression for the Last 20 odd years I am really struggling at the moment and am almost at rock bottom. I'm fighting it but since my sons diagnosis of Friedrich 's ataxia ,almost 2 years ago,it's been a hard battle.My younger brother died in February, suddenly, I can't even face up to my grief as I'm unable to deal with it. Please ask Our Mother to help me and for the strength to carry my cross as at times I feel unable to keep going

Mary, next time you boil a nice bit of cabbage, don't throw away the water, season it and drink it. We always used to say cabbage water is a great pick me up to lift the spirits. And I always cool and drink the water from veggies, I think we throw away the best part of the veg when we drain the water we use to cook vegies away down the drain.
My late mother-in-law used to call that water by the country name of pot liquor Quaint But good for you

...praying for you, Mary. From decades of experience, I can tell you....ride out the lowest, blackest, most bleak points. The intensity ebbs and flows. I had a DNA tongue swab test to determine which meds will and won't work on you. It saves a tremendous amount of time. For me, only a few meds will work. But, it sure eliminated a great deal of trial and error.
