Actually Aviso I would probably credit what I have learned to many of the sources you are familiar with. Fr. Gruner and the Fatima Center, Fr. Malachi Martin, we probably read many of the same blogs as well.

As far as books I have a good sized library but I would recommend Trial, Tribulation and Triumph by Desmond Birch if you haven't read that. Almost anything by TAN books.

I will be the first to admit though that there are large gaps in my religious education as I am self taught and only recently so. However I do not post about things of which I have no or very limited knowledge. I try only to post Church teachings I am aware of or if I do give my own opinion I note that is what I am doing.

When I said "watched and devoured" I just meant I did a lot of study, pretty much consuming all of my free time.

I understand your feelings about the Marian information. I am not trying to convince you of anything. Just passing on what I came across. I actually don't concern myself a lot with discerning as I only follow Church approved prophecy at this point anyway. We have enough information from approved sources to know what we need to at this point, but if I come across anything I will pass it along to you as I know you are interested in it for your Garabandal research.

No Praetorian, I am myself what we can call a student of Father Gruner's and for years, I knew him more than you can imagine, so I cannot confirm your comment, in no way Father Gruner could be related to your comment, please be sure of that, as for Desmond Birch, I will suggest you as to others, to avoid his book at all costs, I am sorry to tell you that you are not ready yet, Google teachings are not the Catholic Teachings, when you will confirm to me your criterias about Marian Apparitions, I may change my mind, for the moment and with all due Respect, let me suggest you to still Pray your Rosary, thank you.

Aviso I am not sure what you are talking about. I did not say Fr. Gruner said anything. I said I learned a lot from watching his videos. I was not linking him to any "comment" I made. I don't even know what "comment" you are referring to.

I also don't know what "Google teachings" are.

Sorry it seems like you are condemning me for something.
"I am not ready yet" - What is that supposed to mean?
My input is not welcome here on the forum?

Sorry for my English, as many knows here I am French, Google Teachings means you know your Catechism via Google only, you are not ready yet, means your quotes cannot be confirmed via the Teachins of the Church, if your input are welcome here, please remind me by whom, thank you.

PS : About Father Gruner, I share your opinion, in other words you learned Nothing.

I never said I learned anything from Google. I don't even know where you got that from. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is sitting right next to my bed. I have a large library of religious books. I am well read religiously and otherwise. For a layman I would say I am fairly well educated in Church matters and I have some worthy insights to share here on the forum.

I have no idea why you are being derogatory towards me and trying to pick a fight.
I won't even respond to you any more. Your posts here are the height of rudeness Aviso.

As a mod, I would say his viewpoints are most welcome here, as he is one of the most charitable, well lay educated and reserved posters on MOG. You could learn a lot from him, like how not to antagonize and insult fellow esteemed MOG members.

Remember when English is not your native language words can come a little different than what we really mean. All of us here are Catholics bound together by our love to Jesus and Mary.

I appreciate your insights and well informed commentary. Always charitable and always sound. I am not sure what is going on with Aviso but I for one am always edified by your posts. I think your wise decision to stay with approved Apparitions only is another example of your wise approach.

Praetorian, based on your well worded and thought out posts I would have never guessed you have only been back to the faith recently. You're well versed in everything Catholic. (y)

Thank you AED and Mary's Child,

MC, I did strongly consider the priesthood in my youth so a lot of my basic Catholic 101 education I studied on my own in my teen years. I didn't mean to give the impression that I knew nothing about the Church until 2 years ago. When I came back to the faith more recently though was when I learned about the crisis in the Church and most of the prophecy that heralds this era. That is thanks to sites like this one which I found early on in my return. I would name specific posters here who I owe a great debt to, but I would be afraid to leave someone out and they are all important. I will say thanks to Padraig though! This site is a great light in the darkness that is enveloping the world.

I am getting a bit embarrassed now though, so people don't need to keep applauding me. It wasn't my intention to draw accolades to myself and it isn't good for my pride

Praetorian you know you are my go to person, and I appreciate the kindness, the time and consideration you put into your responses.
Hopefully this is just a lost in translation moment as Aviso is a passionate man as I have said before. Everyone on here is of great value and we are all aiming for the same goal.
We should all appreciate each other.
God bless you Praetorian and may he and his Blessed Mother continue guiding you, as it is plain to see they do so.
God bless you Aviso for your passion and may the Blessed Mother continue to guide you also in your work.
