I think the writer at Church Militant did use the title of the article to "sum up" what Cecil Richards actually meant, although she did not use that exact verbiage....it was in reality, the truth. Maybe Richards direct quote (below) here best represents the title of the article.: It was only in 2013 that we got emergency contraception over the counter. That took years, and there's not a college student in America that doesn't know about emergency contraception now. This is a complete revolution. … Now, we're obviously fighting these issues in the Supreme Court for some employers who are completely unwilling to allow their employees to get access to birth control. By "some employers" she's fighting, Richards is including the Little Sisters of the Poor. As it turns out, it is the Chritians who are fighting this fight....and this evil gang hates us. As little me said, they are in of prayer and conversion.
Hi Beth B, I agree 100% that PP are a disgusting organisation, However I do get annoyed at any media person trying to put words in my mouth... On a different note, the image of Cecil is off putting to me, I think its because her eyes have become soulless, but yet she seems tired, like someone carrying a burden, but still there is a remaining harshness about her, If she could get away from PP and perhaps open her heart & intellect to God. I agree DBM....the title should have not "put words in my mouth"! Funny you should comment on her appearance. I couldn't put my finger on what I though was strange, but I saw something. I'm taking Little Me's advice....praying very hard for her. No one could do what she does without a very empty soul...or worse, a demonic soul. Either way, she like every other human is capable of conversion if we all pray for her. Her conversion could be the means God uses to unmask PP. It could have the same effect as that of St. Paul's conversion . When folks pray in front of abortion clinics, it nets more life saving value than any condemnation that could be leveled at both the clinic staffers and the women going in for abortions. At one paticular clinic, a ProLife man stood at a paticular spot almost daily as the abortion clinic staffers had to pass by to enter the clinic. Each day, the ProLifer said nothing to the staff but, "I'm praying that you do not come back here tomorrow." That's it, nothing more. More often than not, his comment was met with vile, hateful, profane laden responses. After about six months or so, one employee who had initially entered the clinic for a day of routine abortions, came back out. She approached the man who greeted her daily and said, " I'm leaving today and I'm never coming back...I just wanted you to know....and to know why." She continued, " I just couldn't get over how everyday I passed you and you never said mean or hateful things back to us who do this for a living...even when we talked so mean to you. I knew you were really just praying for each of us. I guess that God heard your prayer, I'm done with abortions...I can't do this anymore. Thank you." Today, this same lady who left that abortion clinic that day has gone on to be one of the champions of the ProLife movement. The time has been long passed since I first heard this story, so sadly, I can't give you the name of this lady....it's been over 28 years. Maybe she has passed on, I don't really know. I do know that's this story left an impression on me for life. It taught me that regardless of who it is, or what the sin is, that through our prayer, God can work great miracles in the souls of anyone. In this case, babies were saved....and her soul was saved....because one individual cared enough to take the time....to just pray.
