I have just realised that GF falls on the 25th March this year. I do believe that this is a very significant date and not without meaning given the times we are living through. I think there is an ancient Jewish tradition that gives this date for the beginning of the world. It is also the date of Christ's conception and the traditional date for the first GF. As an aside I always found it fascinating that Tolkien also uses this date for the destruction of the ring of power when it falls into the flames of mount doom.
The 25th is also the date of the Medjugorie message to the world. I also recall that March 18th is a significant date in that one of the seers has indicated its importance which will make sense after things start to happen.
The author of the book "After the Warning 2016" believes the Warning will occur on March 25, 2016, since March 25 is the original date of Jesus's crucifixion and death according to Tertullian, Hippolytus and Augustine. Prophecies from Mary at Anguera, Brazil, about the Warning, give a riddle about the "Calvary of humanity will begin on a Friday." If you were working on a crossword puzzle, you could come to at least one possible conclusion: that Calvary reminds us of Good Friday and the only Good Friday remaining within that time frame is March 25, 2016. Lastly, the Blessed Mother has stated to Mirjana, one of the Medjugorje seers, that her birthday would be a day of a special event. The Pope may be pronouncing the 5th Marian Dogma on Mirjana’s birthday on March 18, 2016. Not sure how Asteroid 2013 TX68, which will pass by earth next month, will play into this, but I understand Conchita mentioned the Warning begins with the letter “A.” I don’t necessarily believe or disbelieve all of this, but they sure are fascinating…

I think that would be a right thing to do. Regarding Pedro Regis (the seer of Our Lady of Anguera), I think that the calvary you're discussing about, refers to the beginning of the prophesied three days of darkness. Moreover, I think that the "A" letter, could have to do with a Spanish word... "Astro".
This year, 23/24 March 2016 is 14 Adar II 5776 in the Hebrew calendar. (14 Adar II begins at sunset on the 24th and ends at sunset on the 25th.) Purim is the feast celebrating how the Jews in the Persian Empire were saved from being massacred by Haman, the royal vizier. The story is told in the Book of Esther. Haman, BTW, was "Haman the Amalekite", a direct descendent of King Agag, king of the Amalekites (I Samuel 15). G_D ordered Saul to launch a war of extermination against the Amalekites for their continued offenses. G_D gave a direct command to Saul through Samuel "to smite Amalek and destroy it, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass" (I Sam. 15:3). Saul, however, disobeyed this order, setting aside the best of the livestock "to offer as a sacrifice to the Lord" as well as setting aside the women, including Agag's wife, who was with child. It's up to David to follow G_D's command to kill Agag. Because Saul disobeyed G_D and did not kill Agag's wife he doomed the Israelites to be threatened by Agag in a future generation: Agag's wife escapes, gives birth to Agag's son, and so the royal line continues until it reaches Haman. Haman plans to avenge his people by slaughtering all of the Jews. The date for this execution was chosen by lot, called a "pur". Long story short (too late!) Esther (who is both a Jewess and the queen) turns the table on Haman and is able to convince the King to turn the tables on Haman: on the date chosen by the pur (Purim) Haman and his 13 sons were hung on the scaffolds that he had ordered built to execute the Jews. The Jews go on to celebrate 14 Adar as the date when, through the intercession of the Queen, the Jewish people were saved from destruction. Esther is thus a "type" for Mary. So Purim will be celebrated on Holy Thursday. The anniversary of the creation of the world (with Jerusalem being the navel of the world) is Rosh HaShanah (Feast of Trumpets). This is 1 Tishrei in the Hebrew calendar and is the first day of the Hebrew calendar. This year it will fall on 03 Oct 2016.

I do believe that something important will happen this year, the year of Mercy is not to be wasted, and right now not so many in the world put much attention to this, so something needs to happen. This is the door of the Lord. Open for me the gates of justice. I will enter your house, Lord, because of your great mercy. This is what Pope Francis said before opening the holy door. To ask God to forgive us we need to know his justice first, so it´s very likely that the warning will occur this year, it´s the year of mercy and forgiveness. If the warning is to take place on March 25 and is part of the secrets of Medujorge, Mirjana will announce it to the word on March 18 , 7 days before? Edit: I just read about the secrets and it looks like the priest chosen by Mirjana will announce each secrets 3 days before they take place not 7 days like I thought. In any case the warning may occur before the closing of the year of mercy. I´m not predicting anything, but I feel an urgency to work harder, it seems as if this lent was my last chance.
Thanks for pointing these out. This is one of the reasons I try not to take a hardline approach on these things. At the end of the day what's more important is that I should be ready when God calls me anytime, not on March 25, or whatever the date may be according to some trending prediction.
I had a quick inspiration after reading your paragraph regarding the year of Mercy: We'll have a chance to save souls when things start to fall apart by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet in the presence of the sick and dying since Jesus promised that He will not be a just Judge, but rather the merciful Savior at that moment. I experienced firsthand the efficacy of the chaplet in the presence of my dying wife, as she was literally brought back from the brink of death. I share your sentiment regarding the sense of urgency. Since coming back to the Church last year I've felt a persistent urging to get my affairs in order now, and everyday thereafter. Something just doesn't feel right. Whether it's because of the prophesied events to come or my own meeting with the Lord is irrelevant, but I'm truly thankful for the grace.
Thanks, Bartimaeus. I have a brief description of it on padraig's welcome page to me last week. In any case, she had a miscarriage last year with severe complications that led to the systemic failure of her organs. A little over 24 hours after she was admitted to the hospital to deliver the baby, she had a cardiac arrest in intensive care. She was clinically dead and the medical team worked on her for over half an hour to revive her. They were able to stabilize her but at that point she was completely dependent on medications (at full dosage) and machines to keep her alive. The ICU doctor was certain she would have another cardiac event shortly and that it would be "pointless" to try to revive her again. Needless to say, I prayed the chaplet and rosary to the point of exhaustion. I prayed for a miracle but resigned myself to God's will. Waiting for the next cardiac episode was excruciating and was the longest night of my life. By God's grace, however, she pulled through. All her doctors were amazed at her miraculous recovery. They later confided that they thought she was still a goner even a few days after she pulled through the cardiac event. Or even if she survived, the extent of the organ damage would never make her normal again and would take a long time to heal. They feared she could be in a vegetative state or on dialysis all her life. Except for losing her right leg, none of these happened. She's normal again and back to full time employment about two and half months after being discharged from the rehab facility. This experience has had a profound impact on my life. I can only pray that God uses me as an instrument to share His Divine Mercy now and especially during the difficult times ahead.
I feel that way to...trying hard to be prepared everyday. Weekly confessions for forgiveness and grace. It's so easy to get to weekly confessions when you understand how important it is for the soul...you're grateful it's available when you really understand what is at stake. The grace is so real.
Isn't it such a grace to have received that you knew the Chaplet of Mercy, and could pray it at that moment of need. Wow. How blessed we are. I am glad that your family were given the blessing of continued life to bring light to the world. I know God can bring great grace from a tragedy, but I still prefer when He defers loss until a more age appropriate time! I want my bread buttered both sides!
Maybe,just maybe...the Pope is meeting with the Russian Patriarch today ,and letting him know something about the Warning that we don't.
