I am so over the confusion and the lies of the evil one and the foothold he has in this world. In my prayer, I cry and lament. I pray and offer my will and than I cry some more. I've become awash with tears and yearnings. We all see, hear, and feel the evil in the world. We know the unbelievable injustices and the horror that is incessantly and insidiously committed hour after hour, minute by minute and yet we have to live side by side with this madness! In my weaknesses I am at the point of insisting Gods Will be made manifest on mankind! be that by Mercy or by Justice, I don't care, and in my weakness I say 'enough already'! Oh Blessed Trinity Your kingdom come. Amen. But if this is Gods Divine Will that we must continue to walk in this dark, noisy, suffercating, confusing wilderness for a longer period of time then Please Lord give us all, those who are aching for Your kingdom to come, the strength to fight the good fight to the end. Gods Will be done!!! Lord have Mercy. Time for the Rosary
My thoughts fell in line with: Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. But, I do understand the OP's feelings.
Yeah, I hear what you are saying. But I am not looking forward to what is ahead. I am enjoying a warm place to live, stocked supermarkets, and hot showers. If I lived in syria, I would be singing a different tune.
Reflecting on the Mass readings today, it sounds to me that you are calling out, like Hannah did, for God to intervene. And He surely did - bringing Samuel to life through her, and using him in a mighty way for the kingdom (he is the one who annointed little David as king of Israel!) The thing is, In this ever strengthening spiritual battle, we are not bystanders or victims, but the actual weapons God is using to overcome the darkness. It helps me a lot to focus on souls instead of the evil swirling around. In the Divine Will, our acts are for all of our brothers and sisters. Only on the other side will you know what the Lord accomplished by your tears and supplications, to bring the lost into the kingdom. Keep it up, sister!!!!!!
One thing does scare me. Looking back to the world just before the outbreak of World War 2 in say 1938 . And in, say 1913 just before the outbreak of World War One. When I compare the Moral State of the World just before those huge events fell upon them and on the Moral State of the World now, I have to say that now we are a hundred , a thousand times worse then back then. Just so our Chastisement must be expected to be a hundred a thousand times worse. It is because the Chastisement will be so much worse that Mary has been sent to heaven with such intense urgency. It is this knowledge that, 'Causes me to tremble', as the old hymn says...
Shooting first and asking questions later is but one approach to life. It works for the army but not families or civilian life. But the Church is a family so the military analogies start failing after a while. Surely real world human relations requires an arsenal with a varied array of weapons and tactics. Considered action at times requires waiting and suffering evil and sometimes that "action" is "doing nothing". If anyone is a man of action, its Clint Eastwood. He does so much just by doing nothing with that cocked stare and a single suck on his cigar .
Good men doing nothing is why The Church and Planet Earth is in the "FIX" it is!! GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
Good men attacking shadows so they can feel macho saving the Church, the World, the entire Cosmos is just as bad!
