Hey all, I have been nervous about this all year, what with Ron Conte also thinking that this May 13 was a good possibility. Although the warning has not happened yet, there is no reason to say it won't. Also, it is said that no one will know the day and time that the warning will occur, and though folks like Ron think that it will be one of the Medjugorje secrets, I personally don't think so anymore. I think that the day it will come will be a complete surprise, and that means that if it makes sense to fall on a certain day, then it won't! That is my thought on the warning these days. But the miracle will be announced as we all know, and perhaps by several people. I am scheduled to take my mom to Medjugorje from May 30 to June 9 this year, and frankly I am hoping that nothing happens this May 13 because it will be very crazy there if it does...I was hoping for a peaceful, prayerful trip for my mom as she is new to all this and it would be very overwhelming otherwise. It seems though, that the world is getting ready for it, but it isn't quite at the point yet for it to occur this May, as others seem to also feel. Can someone check on something? Is there any way to know EXACTLY what time Blessed Imelda died on May 12? And then figure out if at that exact time of day, was it May 13 somewhere significant? In Garabandal? In Jerusalem? Where Mr. Holland lives? Could May 12 and May 13 actually be the same "day" and would this make it work for next year? (Is Conchita's Thursday someone else's Friday?) Also, reading her story, she was in the church for a time while waiting for the priest to allow her to receive the levitating eucharist, and then she went into an ecstacy...so maybe it isn't certain exactly when she died for sure? (just speculating). Also, remember she was 11 years old when she died. 11? in 1333. OH, and I have read that she died on Ascension Day of that year...is that right? I am trying to convince myself that it will happen next year, not this year...it just doesn't feel like it will happen in two weeks...although more tornados killed more people today, and the oil spill and the mine accidents, and the volcano...things are indeed starting to happen. Oh, and the weather in Medjugorje is very unusual...they are getting more rain than they ever have, and it is still going on. There is water standing in areas that never have flooded before, the locals told us. Two or three days of rain, then humid heat, then more rain. Not normal at all for them. Lots to think about, that's for sure.
Blessed Imelda died in the evening of May 12th 1333, which was the vigil of the feast of the Ascension. The Garabandal apparitions also happened in the evening, at about 8.30, which is the same time as the predicted Miracle. So this could also mean next year, May 12th 2011, would be suitable for the Miracle. But of course this year's date seems much more fitting.
in responce to moms calling, when i was given a vision of the miracle of garabandal, i wasnt shown the year it will occur , the date , thirteenth of may , was shown to me , immeadiately after the vision of the miracle ended, so im afraid no year was shown to me or spoken to me, this vision was given to me of the miracle of garabandal in year 1998, [ which was dedicated by pope john paul 11 as the year of the holy spirit ],
If heaven is keeping it a big secret, maybe its because its better we children do not know exactly when? It would be very easy for heaven to specify, but God doesn't, so maybe it is for the best? :shock:
I think you are right Padraig - we have a lot of clues about the day of the Miracle for example but not for the year. It's fun trying to work it out though. But when these events actually start we will be saying 'that came quickly'!! even though we will have been waiting for years. Once the events start its a bit like dominos - one will follow after the other in sequence. Now is the preparation time to grow in holiness under the mantle of our Lady. The more we prepare now the better and we will not regret all of the sacrifices and prayers; rather we will continually give thanks to God for his goodness.
I was thinking today Bobby, that if someone appeared before me with the secrets inside I would know that maybe I needed to be careful about opening it. For to know for dead certain about such things would change my life forever, a bit I suppose like winning the lottery changes lives. For from then on we would in a way live our lives towards the future, instead of towards the present. Perhaps this is not what God wants. Nevertheless I would snatch the envelope out of the person's hands and read it, sheer nosiness would push me to it!! :lol: I agree it is fun trying to guess. There is one time in Scripture when people did try to guess the future and that was at the birth of Christ. Perhaps the best estimators in Scripture, the three Wise Men got the date almost to a tee. Of course at the end of the day the Star guided them but then they had to have used their wits to know the star would come. The Shepherd too knew to come but this was a result of a direct revelation by angels. I have always thought of God as being in these things a real gentleman. I think as we come directly closer to events in the future we will get more clues. I also think in the events of various events the Righteous will often get foretellings so that they can avoid destruction. Thus in the event that say a city like Paris was about to be destroyed many good people would be led to leave it. In fact I am pretty certain this will happen. This is prefigured in the story of the destruction of of Sodom and Gommorah where God actively sought good folk in the city, not only to save them but the entire city. This is why destruction has not yet really fallen upon us in full force that good people often still live in such places and in fair numbers too. But this will not always be the case in the future.. Many saints have given us a clue to those days when they pointed out that without the Eucharist being celebrated the world would long since have been destroyed. But the Eucharist is still celebrated but when it is not....
It's interesting that the parchment that was given to Mirjana containing the 10 secrets can only be read by Mirjana and anyone else would only see jumbled letters. Even Fr Petar would not be able to read the parchment until the alloted time. He will be able to read the first secret when it is time; will fast for 10 days and then announce it to the world 3 days in advance detailing when, where and for how long the secret will last. This parchment came direct from heaven and therefore must be unique. The tilma of Guadalupe whilst the miraculous image came from heaven the tilma was of earthly origin. The shroud of Turin likewise. Our Lady has also dictated her life-story to Viska and one day it will be released for us to read and it will also contain the prayers for unbelievers that have their origin in the 2nd of the month apparitions to Mirjana. Apparently Viska also says these 'circular' prayers that may well be a new devotion for the conversion of unbelievers. It seems that this book was completed many years ago so heaven must have a reason for delaying its release - it seems logical that this book would be released before the tribulations as a means of evangelisation and as a means of praying for the grace for the conversion of unbelievers. It would make little sense in releasing the book after the tribulations/secrets as the world will be in turmoil. It would also seem logical that the secrets will only occur after all of the Medjugorje seers have received all of the ten secrets but at least one seer will be having apparitions during the revelation of the secrets. So we may have a few years of grace before the secrets unfold. But the world will continue to plunge deeper into darkness, iniquity and apostacy - perhaps we may have a schism and an anti-Pope before the secrets occur? It seems likely that real persecution could break out because of the dictatorship of relatavism and political correctness taking root in western society. Eshatology is a difficult science and the more I read the less I know!!

...um, also the year 0 is the same calendar, as also is year 34. Meaning that in these years, May 13 fell on the 2nd thursday... Now, I am only a crazy lay person, not a theologean, so I am looking for anything that is interesting and off the wall. I found this little quote on a page that ran through several possibilities for Jesus' death, since it is still argued by many: "in fact, if Jesus was born in the year 0001 then add on 33 more years (because that was how old he was when he died ) = 0034! and there's your answer." Too simple? Sure it is. But if we look at it this way just for fun, then he may have been conceived in year 0. What fun - if the year he entered the world, we would call year 0, then in year 34, he left this world. These two calendars are the same. I know this does not agree with what the theolgeans say, but it is interesting to note that by the calendar calculator in my last post...in the following years, May 13 falls on the 2nd thursday: 0 34 1182 (St. Francis of Assisi was born) 1322 (St. Imelda was born) 1333 (St. Imelda died) 1858 (Lourdes apparitions) 1920 (Jacinta Marto of Fatima died) 1920 (Pope JP II was born) 1965 (end of Garabandal apparitions) 1965 (Mirjana, Ivan, and Marija were born) 1971 (Jakov was born) 2010 (?) 2021 (?) 2027 (asteroid 1999 AN10 is supposed to get a litte too close to Earth for comfort in this year) 2038 (another proposed end of the world date, or something) Fun to play with the dates...just a bunch of coincidences, right? :?
I think that the biography will be released after many of the secrets and the warning and miracle occur. I think that it will explain the significance of some of the dates that things occur. Like she told Mirjana, dates like March 18, and the 2nd of the month have sigmificance that we will understand later. Mirjana has said this - she even said it to our group. Since we were there for the birthday apparition, we asked her about why her birthday, and this is the answer she gave. She said the date of March 18 is not an apparition day because it is her birthday. So, I imagine the biography will be yet another confirmation to the world of the significance and authenticity of all the happenings. Speaking of dates, today is the date for Conchita to make the announcement if the miracle is to occur on May 13. I can't find any evidence of an announcement yet. Of course if she is going by New York time she still has several hours. I hope they do not prevent her from making it somehow. Conchita won't make the announcement because the Warning comes before the Miracle & we have not had the Warning yet.
Oh - that could be. That makes sense that she would want to wait - even if the miracle is still supposed to happen next week. I was thinking, what if the warning happens on the 13th, and then the miracle is next year on the 12th? NO wait, that doesn't fit with Norman Holland's vision though, does it?
The warning must come first then within a year the great miricale which is what Norman has described. A friend just returned from Garabandal and met an American mystic there. He also described to her the miracle as foreshown to him which correspondes with Normans vision. Mary
im very sorry that you havent heard from me for quite some time , ill explain whats happened , ive been under a terrible amount of persecution since i was last on this site , i have recently just come back from medjugorje myself , whilst their i had a wonderfull pilgrimage , i can tell you this for a fact , within this next 12 months , alot of things are going to happen , before the general election , i mentioned that the next new labour leader , would be an aitheist , ed the red , became leader , the leadership would be won by one of two brothers , i mentioned the other brothers name , he was in fact the favourite to get the job , but his brother ed got the job , take notice of the amount of strikes that are going to happen in the next 12 months , it isnt the present government now in office who is to blame , but the last one , new labour , how they can cause so much hatred now , and blame the last government , truly baffles me , they are with the help of the unions, trying to bring down the government , their will be more strikes taking place than ever before , people would have become brain washed , and take the side of the ones carrying and waving the red flags , i wouldnt be surprised if they started a revolution , look also to whats happenning in ireland , much job loses will occur their shortly , ireland voted no , then after pressure from which government in charge at the time , then persuaded the irish people to vote yes , why did this happen and also how can that happen , after voting no first , i have a strong feeling , that the euro is about to collapse or be withdrawn and replaced by a cashless society , all could well happen at any time , i have recently wrote an email to joey lomangino , telling him of something that occured to me whilst i was in st, james church , medjugorje, i was at the back of the church , when i suddenly heard an inner voice say to me , look to your left , speak to mr. bartholomew, i looked to my left , and i saw a dark coloured gentleman , the voice i heard was no doubt at all our lady , speaking to my inner self , i also knew what to say to him and about what , although our lady didnt mention anything else, what to say , but i knew , after mass i followed this man out the church , he left by the side entrance on the left hand side of the church , once outside the church, i tapped the man on the shoulder , as he looked round to me , i said to him , mr bartholomew our lady wants me to speak to you , how did you know my name , he said to me , i told him , whilst inside the church at the end of mass , our lady said to me, look to your left , speak to mr bartholomew, its i told him also , that , our lady thanks you for what you have done in the past and for what you continue to do for her even now , i noticed tears forming in his eyes , as soon as i mentioned this to him , i then told him , what i have received in regards graces and visions , i then told him about the visions i was given about the miracle of garabandal and the permanent sign to take place in both garabandal and medjugorje , i told him that the events are linked together , i told him what the miracle is and what the signs are at both places , i told him many other things also ,i had a feeling that he had a special devotion to both garabandal and medjugorje , i told him i was shown joey lomangino with new eyes , he was the first person to be cured at the time of the miracle at garabandal, i asked this man for his first name , he told me , courtney bartholomew , and that he was a scientist , i told mr . courtney bartholomew , that we are very very near to the events taking place at both garabandal and medjugorje, i told him also , how soon things would happen , i said to mr courtney bartholomew , will you remember me in your prayers , he then said to me , shouldnt it be me asking you to pray for me , i will allways remember what he said to me , before we shook hands , and we both left , things happen for a reason , and their is a very good reason why , i should meet mr courtney bartholomew , and to speak to him about both garabandal and medjugorje , our lady arranged this , and its because we are so near now to these events all taking place . god bless you all , and to all of you be ready and be prepared, stay with the faith , as its your faith , that will save you , in the end .

Thanks very much indeed for your prayers Norman. You're very brave and good travelling about giving talks like this. It shows a very strong commitment, I wouldn't fancy doing it much myself. I only gave talks in public on two occasions, when I saw Our Lady wanted it. But its wonderful being an apostle of Our Lady like this. Thanks for remembering us all in Medjugorje, Norman and the story about Courtney Bartholemew was incredible. Norman - you must feel that the warning is soon, maybe next year? A lot of things point to 2011 being a pivotal year not least because it is the 30th anniversary of the Medjugorje apparitions. It will be insteresting to hear the next messages from Medjugorje, especially on the 2nd of the month for the world. The Oct 2nd 2010 message is significant for it indicated that the world is in great darkness of sin, deceit - the signs of the times for when the warning will occur but we are assure our Lady will triump over the darkness: 'in the battle against the sins of the present time' 'recognising God’s signs' 'the darkness of lies' 'I will triumph'
Padraig, when they were introducing Dr.Bartholemew on the video you have, I knew what he would look like, I knew I'd seen him somewhere before. When I first came into the church I was invited to a Marian Conference. A group who facilitated the RCIA were going to be there and I was to meet them. I went, they never showed.(funny how that worked) But it turned out to be an extraordinary event for me. That's where I saw Dr. Bartholemew, 13 yrs ago at the Marian Conference, only I didn't know who he was, I barely knew who the visionaries were, let alone Michael Brown. It was there that Our Lady really tugged at my heart, mind and soul. She showed me there that she was very real and very much in my life and that this was going to be a very engaging ride.
