I understand many have given much time and effort to these locutions. And im sure it might have enhanced your spirituality. But for others fear causes depression, sadness and most of all hopelessness. And as Pope Francis said...that is from the devil. Papa said that in the Harlem school speech. I was lucky enough to see that speech live :) .

I understand many people are hurt that they spent so much time working with these locutions...but nothing is ever wasted. Hopefully, it made some of you spiritually stronger. But i think they have caused more damage then good. Some people even quit jobs from these messages. That has a terrible effect to family and friends. There is no shame in being tricked but there is shame in continuing a vision that is false. Everyone is waiting for Msgr. Essef to say these messages are false. I am still waiting for him to say they are true. All we had was a website that used his name...then they took it out.

So are these messages really what God and Our Blessed Mother wants us to focus on?

I just think there is no positive having these locutions on MOG.

There is no shame in believing...but once you know it is false, to continue is a danger to your soul but most importantly to other souls.

Lastly, instead of enjoying the Popes visit to the United States some people were actually waiting for the fall of the United States. That is from the devil.

    :(

Note: i hate to use the d word forgive me but it was needed.

"If he was deceived, he pulled - and continues to pull - a great many devout and holy priests, bishops and cardinals in his train. Including one very holy priest I know. I do not think they are being deceived." So is Msgr Esseff, that was my point.

It is the proper duty of the bishop of Scranton to discern and make a judgment about these locutions, since they concern a priest under his jurisdiction and an associated prayer group. People have said on different boards and forums that they made important life decisions based on these messages. Of course they didn't have to, but surely one could reasonably assume that proclaiming Mary has warned of imminent collapse and a nuclear event would stir up vulnerable people.

I believe the bishop should make a statement, and soon. As for the website, it's gone. I, too, would like to hear Msgr. Esseff's explanation, but I doubt he'll be making one.

My understanding the visionary needs to start at local parish and then moves up chain. Just by being anonymous it has no legs to stand on.

I believe that perhaps the west has "lost its salt only to be thrown under feet and trampled on." Isn't this what all the apparitions are saying? Chastisement anyone? Perhaps God is going to use Russia as His vehicle for this. Now Fatima, does that make Russia bad? I feel closer in faith to the Russian Orthodox believers who are against infanticide, abortion, gay agenda than I do with the Bidens and Pelosi's of the world. Don't you? Thank God Putin is now in the middle east bombing ISIS, now the Christians there are finally getting some protection. How could the US/west be against ISIS when we were actively trying to get rid of Assad. Doesn't that make ISIS our ally? Read this all you Russian-haters (I am not Russian) and weep for the west:

As someone who was in opposition to these apparitions, I appreciate your thoughtful column. The one thing I started to appreciate about LTTW was the clear predictions that were being made. Like I have said before, how does one understand messages "from heaven"? Literally? Allegorically? Like a parable? Only after the fact? I have seen all these approaches used all over for them.

I appreciate the unapproved messages from Medj: pray, pray, and then pray some more and use the sacraments liberally. Also, Charlie Johnston's three step message. As he says, heaven's idea of the word "soon" is much different than ours. What does that tell you?

  7. I hope LLTW doesn't go the same way as MDM with many of it's followers buying books of messages and continuing to believe regardless... The only winners are the publishers even if it is short term.

I seriously doubt Russia is in Syria to stop ISIS. That is just why they say they are there. They are building up arms in the name of stopping ISIS and yet they are bringing in anti-aircraft missiles and many other weapons to use against an enemy who doesn't even have planes. This is a build up for much greater purpose in my opinion.

Russia wants a warm water port and is filling the vacuum that Lord Obammy the Socialist has left with his disastrous foreign policies .... and disastrous domestic policies that are bankrupting the USA thus limiting what future Presidents might do. If an America Hating (all it stands for) group of people gained control of the US Federal, many State, governments ... what would they do differently than Obama & Pals? .... Eh!!???

GOD SAVE THE USA & ALL HERE!!
PS: China is getting into the Syria Act too ... and Israel is getting nervous and, no doubt, dusting off their Samson Ops Plan!

  11. That was another thing I meant to touch on.

I have been amazed to see more than a few people in various places (we all know where they are) expressing their fear from the Locutions, and at the same time expressing how much more comfortable they are in certain other venues of prophecy...

Uhhhh... hmmmm... inside those other websites of prophecy (which I also entertain), there has been ample talk of having to run for your lives, be ready to kill others, of seeing those around you butchered, losing everything, of going without food for a week at a time, etc., etc.

I never even heard that in the Locutions (if it's there it must have been a trace), so how on earth did the Locutions cause more fear?

I'm not discounting any of those scenarios -- they're probably coming, I value that "forewarned is forearmed", and I admit I fear it all, too.

But do the fearsome folks not see that ALL of the prophetic scenarios are expressing these same worries -- even those who detail nuclear bombs falling around you, hideous demonic monsters, earth-changing disasters, etc.? Even Medjugorje hints that very many -- or even most -- will die, that you can not imagine what the Father will allow to come upon the earth?

    The Locutions were relatively mild.

So it doesn't make any sense to me to call the Locutions "fear-mongering", as I keep hearing around the internet. I adamantly consider that claim blown out of proportion -- a downright false accusation, something that I would consider coming from the devil to discredit something if it WAS from God. Methinks there may actually be too much protesting for truth's sake.

Call me crazy, but I felt encouraged and heartened and built up by the Locutions. I kept saying, "Yes! I will serve, take me!" So for me, they were bearing fruit. Not from the devil, at the very least. And I still don't think the receiver made them up, just to stupidly devise her own fall.

So I don't know where that leaves them, except that the door is still ajar for me.

My two cents, I won't belabor it here, I know you are all sick of the subject by now and I can understand that. I just had to formulate my thoughts, after reading and digesting other thoughts from all over the net. Now I'll be away for a few more days.

Peace and God's best blessings to all the faithful here -- we're all in the same boat, so keep on paddling and bailing water. :)

Is the USA worth saving when it is pushing a totally anti-God agenda? Isn't that what the chastisement is all about?

Nothing. You know where I stand on the US Picadillo, I just don't share your love for Russia as being the good guys in this conflict either. The only good nation/kingdom is God's nation and they are not of this world. Our King clearly told Pilate that once. We live in the world but belong to no nation other than God's. My anger with the US is as great as yours but I don't see Russia as the knights in shining armor as you like to portray them to be. They will be God's instrument in His judgement that we can agree on.

Yes they are. What is a nation other than the people that make it up. All nations are worth saving and as any person lives and breathes in any nation on Earth, they are worth saving and they still have a chance for redemption. That was the whole point of the cross. He suffered for us, because of us to save us all. All have that chance to recognize the Lord and say yes to His great love and mercy if we ask for it. Those not asking for it need us and our prayers to help them to recognize this. Even the worst sinner in the world can be saved. So yes, God save the USA and God save All!

Of course every person/nation is worth saving for God. However, perhaps Russia is God's vehicle for chastisement and later for conversion.

  17. Like Columbo always used to say, "Ohh, just one more thing".

I was going through my list of URL's for the Locutions to see if any of them worked, and only got signs saying the "server can't be found". I have to say that I now find this message below beyond uncanny. I am just not able to see this as meaningless coincidence, and I think it deserves one more airing before it's consigned to the trash bin.

    SATAN'S ATTACKS ON THE LOCUTIONS

    MARCH 12, 2015

    Mary

The time is short but much can still be done to rescue earth and to restore human history to God’s original plan. Two things must be done. My power and my light must be released into history and millions must receive the light that I pour out. These locutions prepare for those gifts, speaking so clearly and, each day, to many new hearers. Why have I given these words?

I began over four years ago, knowing that the darkness was not imminent but also realizing that it would take time for this little voice to be heard. There are no visions, no apparitions, and no site of miracles. Millions do not come and gather. Rather, all is hidden. The words are given softly and then made available. There is no advertising and no pilgrimages. The words stand alone and by themselves. Yet, these words go forth to all the world, eagerly awaited by many.

This is my promise. I will continue to speak these words for years to come.

Do not be discouraged if Satan tries to stop these words, to cover them over and to discontinue their going forth. He would like to take his ax and have it fall upon this work, destroying it and cutting it in two so that it could never continue.

When this begins, know that I have spoken ahead of time, that I have prophesied this attack, and, no matter what happens, that I will not allow this little work that I have raised up, to ever be destroyed.

It is much too important to me, to the Church and to the whole world.

Yet, Satan will take his actions, for he would deprive the world of this light, even when every precaution is taken to preserve it.

My words today, however, are not just about Satan’s future attempts to destroy what I am doing here. My words are, instead, a firm promise.

These locutions will remain. They will stay. They will burn more brightly even after Satan’s time of darkness and they will lead the world and the Church through the darkness that lies ahead. They will be my constant and daily proof that I am with my Church and the world that I love so much.

One thing that jumped out at me with the locutions was that this "Mary" did not use the name of Jesus all that often. Sometimes there would be a couple locutions in a row that didn't mention Him. She wasn't deferential. She wasn't humble. She was way too interested in domestic American politics, like the reader of right-wing blogs. Mary exalted the messages, the messenger and Msgr. Esseff.

I stopped reading when "Mary" got it so very wrong about the papal conclave and the election of Francis (who turned out not to be the Pope of Fatima).

Locutions is not "burning brightly" as "Mary" predicted, but has flamed out.

  19. I find it difficult to understand as other posters have pointed out, that the messages may not mean exactly what they say. Why give them to ordinary people at all if it takes somebody with a high qualification to interpret them?

This post doesn't mean I am in any way believing in them, I don't think I would like to have this "Mary" as my mother!

A guaranteed way of ensuring the message is beyond criticism: predict that it will be attacked.

It's like a conspiracy theory - impossible to disprove, because the very act of trying to disprove it only strengthens the conspiracy. "Just because I'm paranoid doesn't prove nobody is out to get me." Like those childhood finger cuffs - the stronger you pull to get away the more they tighten.
