I must admit, when I find coping with day to day, interior and exterior "stuff" often overwhelming, the prospect of such large scale calamities depresses me even further. But what disturbs me even more about a potential date of 2038, is that it's another 17 long years of a world gone mad before God intervenes. Of course, I'm merely commenting on a post of comments, and no one really knows what God's doing, when. So much talk of coastal areas being submerged, famine.......with me being perpetually unemployed for reasons no one would understand, I haven't the means to stock up, move my wife and son inland or anything else. What's the old expression...."Stop the world, I want to get off!"

I believe very much in Jesus's advice to not worry about the future. "Sufficient unto the day is the trouble thereof" Fearing or feeling apprehension for what lies ahead drains strength for living today--for me at least. I am done with fear! I get criticized by my family because I don't watch the news but I am guarding my heart. I just want to stay in a state of grace and be ready.
if God wants it to take longer for certain things to happen, he won't listen to you. in fact, you don't even have the right to want something to happen now or later. that's up to God. but I tell you, it will take longer than you think. I say this because God revealed this to true prophets. there is a reason when an apparition is not approved by the church. if God wants an apparition to be approved, he does it easily. why Garabandal was not approved. God extended the time of events beyond the lives of the people who participated in this apparition. many here on the forum won't even be present when things start to happen. in 2038 we will be here living our lives and nothing will happen

That may be the date for the 3 days of darkness. I tend to believe the Warning and Miracle come before 2038.
Hello Debora, in trying to understand your posts on this thread, if I may, I have a few questions that I would appreciate if you would expand your answers. First to whom are you referring as the "true prophets?" Are these prophets of private or public revelation? I agree that no one but God knows the day and hour of the Second Coming, (Matthew 24:36; cf. Mark 13:32). However, Jesus did say that we would be given signs to interpret, and many here as elsewhere are seeing some of these signs that are written of in public revelation. So, why 2050 in specific, why is this date of significance? With the date of 2050, what does it refer? Are you speaking of a lesser tribulation or chastisement, or the Second Coming of Christ? Thanking you in advance for your patience.
I am personally convinced the next 3 possible dates for the April Miracle, are Apr 11, 2024, Apr 11, 2030 and Apr 13th 2034. Those are the days that fit both the Even Year of the Warning and Miracle criterion, an April Thursday between 8th and 18th, and a known male Eucharistic Martyr. I haven't checked for 2038, but I've heard that prophecy about the three dates colliding before. Let's pray and watch, and see what happens. None of us know with certainty till it comes.
Hi Debora Some thoughts for your discernment... I think the sins of the world today, are to be born by the current church militant today, don't you? The current sins of the world are despicably inhumane and abominations in Gods eyes. We know this from scripture, from both the old and new testament, no matter what spin we want to apply to them. Do you agree? God is forgiving, Yes But St Faustina tells us that God's time of Mercy is a call to all mankind to repent and come back into the true fold of Our Lord Jesus, if this is not heeded it will be followed by the time of Justice, (a time of chastisement) so even if we think we are living Peacefully this may not be a reality! God gives warnings! He gives types in the old testament, He gives us signs in the sun, moon and stars, we are not to discount these! But to learn from them. Don't you think? God thoughts are not our thoughts and He constantly forgives, Yes, but we should not grow complacent, depending on a deathbed conversion to His Mercy. This belief begs the question, can God be manipulated? Do you think mankind can manipulate God? Additionally, why are we not worthy of His Justice now, rather than in 2050? What horrendous manmade horrors do you see await mankind in 2050 that call for God's justice? Today mankind has equated himself as a god. Man is, was, and ever shall be and God has zero rights in today society. What say you about todays society, Debora G Barossa?
